Job Description

Higher Logic Vanilla is looking for a Senior Software Developer (Backend / PHP) who thrives at the intersection of product engineering, scalability, and modern developer workflows—including AI-assisted development. You’ll help build and evolve the core application systems that power rich community experiences for millions of users worldwide.

AI-Forward Development Responsibilities

• We’re looking for a software developer who is excited to rethink how software is built—someone eager to work in an AI-native, agentic development environment, where developers collaborate with intelligent agents to design, build, and iterate faster.
• Use AI-powered IDEs and assistants (e.g., Cursor, Copilot-style tools) to accelerate implementation, refactoring, debugging, and test generation—while ensuring correctness, security, and maintainability.
• Apply AI thoughtfully: write strong prompts, verify outputs, and incorporate guardrails such as automated tests, static analysis, code review, and runtime validation.

What You’ll Do

As a Back-End Developer at Poka, you’ll play a key role in building, improving, and maintaining the services and infrastructure that power our applications and support thousands of frontline workers. • Provide logistical and operational support to local and regional localization stakeholders, including production, QA, and development partners

WHAT YOU BRING

VOS MISSIONS 

• Apporter un soutien logistique et opérationnel aux acteurs de la localisation locaux et régionaux,  notamment les équipes de production, d'assurance qualité et de développement. 
• Contribuer au suivi, à la gestion des ressources et à la coordination entre les différents outils et fonctions, et présenter ces activités à l'équipe de développement pendant leurs heures de travail habituelles. 
• Participer aux initiatives d'internationalisation liées aux nouvelles langues en identifiant les risques linguistiques, en soutenant le développement de contenus culturellement adaptés et en collaborant avec les développeurs pour mettre en place des bases favorables à la localisation dès le début du processus. 
• Collaborer au support des outils et du processus, notamment à la documentation des processus, aux tests fonctionnels et à la collecte de retours. 
• Contribuer à la préparation des certifications et à la mise en conformité en veillant à ce que les livrables de localisation, en particulier pour leur langue maternelle, répondent aux exigences de la plateforme et aux normes régionales. 
• Faciliter la coordination entre les équipes internes et les prestataires externes, selon les besoins.
• Mettre à profit son expertise linguistique pour répondre aux questions linguistiques et signaler les points sensibles sur le plan culturel ou linguistique. Résoudre les problèmes et apporter un soutien aux équipes d'assurance qualité linguistique (LQA) dans votre région linguistique.

VOTRE PROFIL 

• 2 à 3 ans d'expérience en localisation, coordination de production, assurance qualité ou dans des domaines connexes du jeu vidéo ou des médias. 
• Excellentes compétences organisationnelles et de communication ; capacité à gérer plusieurs tâches auprès de différents intervenants et sur différentes plateformes. 
• Maîtrise des outils et des flux de travail de localisation (par exemple : TMS, outils de TAO, Jira, CMS, Confluence, etc.). 
• La connaissance des principes d'internationalisation et/ou des processus de certification des plateformes est un atout. 
• Maîtrise parfaite ou quasi parfaite d'une langue prise en charge en chinois traditionnel et excellentes compétences en communication en anglais.

The Test Automation Architect is a senior, hands on leadership role responsible for leading and evolving the automation practice across multiple delivery teams. This role requires a strong balance of strategic thinking and technical execution. The Test Automation Architect will define automation standards, set technical direction, mentor engineers, and actively contribute to framework design and complex automation challenges when needed.

This role plays a critical part in shaping how, when, and why automation is applied across the organization, ensuring scalable, maintainable, and effective automation solutions that support fast moving delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support multiple test automation teams while setting technical direction and quality standards
• Design, build, and evolve scalable test automation frameworks primarily using Python and or Java
• Define automation strategy and provide guidance on when automation adds value versus when manual testing is more appropriate
• Act as a technical mentor and coach, supporting team growth and adoption of best practices
• Establish and enforce automation best practices, coding standards, and review processes
• Partner closely with QA, engineering, and product stakeholders to align testing approaches with delivery goals
