NiCE is looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer. Candidates will work supporting large complex enterprise software clients including applications, servers, SQL, network and must have excellent problem-solving skills. As we expand our customer deployments, we are currently seeking an experienced SRE to deliver insights from massive scale data in real time. • Create sustainable systems and services through automation and uplifts

Have you got what it takes?

• 4+ years programming/scripting experience with any of the following: (Go, Python, .Net (C#), Node)
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 6-8 years of working experience in a similar role, with a focus on systems engineering, automation, and reliability.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Java, C#) and experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell).
• Deep understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS), the working and reliability constraints of some of the prominent services (e.g., EC2, ECS, Lambda, DynamoDB etc)
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
• Strong knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Cloudwatch).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in distributed systems.
• Experience of Incident management and blameless postmortems that includes driving the incident response efforts during outages and other critical incidents, resolution, and communication in a cross-functional team setup.

Kubernetes + certification, Grafana , AWS, Azure, DevOps experience.

About Role :  

The Foundation team at Druva is responsible for designing a highly performant and scalable cloud file system on the Druva cloud in AWS. To build this petabyte-scale, distributed, services-oriented cloud file system, various key concepts like file system metadata, versioning, and eventual consistency are used along with leveraging various AWS services like S3, DDB, and Kinesis. While the core file storage engine provides the backup storage for all the Druva products, allied components like the indexing engine, key-value store, and big data pipeline provide scalable search, analytics, and compliance services. The team diligently keeps track of newer services, storage tiers, and various aspects of existing AWS services to take advantage of the continuous evolution of services and use them effectively in the background.

We are looking for a Senior Staff Software Engineer who is passionate about building highly scalable, secure, and performant infrastructure components that form the core of our data protection and data management platform. This role is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of systems programming, distributed storage, and cloud-native architecture and is looking to solve complex technical problems at scale.

We prefer candidates from Tier-1 institutes (IITs, NITs, BITS Pilani, IIIT-H, IISc) or those who have demonstrated exceptional systems-level depth through impactful work in high-scale backend systems, infrastructure platforms, or storage/security products.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the architecture, high-level and low-level design of data protection and data management services and frameworks.
• Design and implement secure, resilient, and highly scalable microservices using Python or Golang, following SaaS-first principles.
• Collaborate with architects, product managers, DevOps, and peer engineering teams to build storage and data services that manage data and metadata at scale.
• Continuously evaluate and integrate emerging technologies and tools to refine existing platforms and enhance product capabilities.Drive the adoption of best practices in system design, observability, testing, and CI/CD pipelines for high-quality releases.

Must-Have Skills

• Expertise in Python or Golang with a focus on scalable, performant systems.

We are seeking a Software Developer in Test (SDET) to focus on our automation and manual testing of the suite of software products that we offer to customers. The candidate will be required to carry out tests to ensure the software we’re building addresses the business requirements and provides user friendly experience to our customers. The primary role is heavy on writing automated tests, maintaining them and triaging failures. This role will also include manual testing work for newer initiatives.

THE DAY-TO-DAY

• Define risk-based test plans and acceptance criteria in partnership with Product/Engineering; translate user stories into clear test cases.
• Build and maintain automated tests (Cypress/TypeScript preferred) across E2E, integration, and API layers; create reusable utilities/page objects and stabilize flaky tests.
• Implement and own CI/CD test gates (smoke/regression) with parallelization and clear pass/fail signals; track coverage and test health metrics.
• Perform targeted manual/exploratory testing for new features, edge cases, and UX flows; drive regression for critical paths.
• Create and manage test data, mocks/fixtures, and environment configurations to keep tests deterministic and fast.
• Coordinate with engineers to reproduce, triage, and debug issues using logs/metrics/trace tools; verify fixes and prevent regressions.
• Own post-deploy smoke testing and release sign-off for web apps and mobile apps; document results and risks.
• Continuously improve the QA/SDET toolchain and practices (coding standards, coverage goals, flake budgets, reporting dashboards).

WHAT MAKES YOU QUALIFIED

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Software or related field (advanced degrees a plus).
• 3+ years in software testing with strong grounding in functional/regression and modern test design techniques (BC, EP, pairwise, etc.).
• Hands-on experience testing web applications and mobile apps end-to-end, including UX/UAT and bug verification across browsers/devices.
• 2+ years focused on test automation, including designing scalable frameworks and CI integration.
• Proficiency with Cypress (preferred) and JavaScript/TypeScript; experience with API testing (Postman/Newman, supertest, REST/GraphQL) and at least one additional tool (Playwright/WebdriverIO/Jest/Mocha).
• Comfortable with CI/CD (GitHub Actions/CircleCI/GitLab), Git, and basic Docker; familiarity with env management and secrets.
• Strong analytical skills; fluency with SDLC/Agile and tooling (Atlassian suite or similar).
