The team:

Inbox is the organisation that looks after Proton's Mail and Calendar products for iOS, Web and Desktop (including our B2B focused Bridge application). As a QA Automation Engineer on the Inbox team, you will play a crucial role in testing Proton's most vital services, including Mail and Calendar. Purpose of the role:

We are seeking a Director of Engineering to one of our existing or upcoming Products. This role involves setting and executing technical strategy, team management, and working closely with your senior product managers counterparts, to ensure high-velocity delivery of new products.

As a key member of the engineering leadership team, you will shape the company’s technical strategy and contribute to Proton’s mission of creating a privacy-centric internet. The Payments Team

The goal of the Payments team is to enable revenue generation for the entire Proton ecosystem. This comes in the form of introducing new payment methods for users to architecting our client libraries. This team has impact across all of Proton's products and is critical to the success of the business as a whole.

• As Proton is a global Company, the Payments Team works to continuously expand the possibilities for users to pay with various payment methods, beyond just plain credit cards or Paypal.
• The team works in tight collaboration with the Account Team (responsible for the Proton user lifecycle), the Proton Finance team, and every single Business Unit to ensure that plans, promotions and pricing meet user expectations.
• The mission of the team is to empower anyone in the world who wish to use Proton services, to become a Proton subscriber by building enticing interfaces, being able to progressively reach global markets, by providing the methods and tooling allowing users to pay, and for the Proton organization to properly being able to measure growth, and to follow the relative financial regulations

Tech Stack and Tools:

• Differently than many other stacks at Proton, the Payments stack depends largely on external services such as payment providers, tax-information providers, currency-conversion providers... As such it is critical, for the success of the service, to build with resilience.
• Internally our backend code is in general based on PHP/Symfony, our frontend is based on React, our mobile code is based on Kotlin (on Android) and on Swift (on iOS), with a growing shared codebase in Rust.
• All our client-code is open-source and GPL3.
• We are migrating our infrastructure to Kubernetes.

The Account Team

The Account team owns the capabilities across the full user lifecycle - from acquisition and account creation, through protection, recovery, and user management, to retention and end-of-life. Account is one of the key functions that are positioned centrally and contribute to all of Proton's products.

The Role
As an engineer on our Apple team you’ll build and ship features across Proton’s apps on iPhone, iPad and macOS, working closely with product and engineers across the company to define what “great” looks like on Apple platforms. Our codebase is primarily Swift with some Go, and we’re moving to a platform-independent Rust logical core that communicates with Swift via a generic interface, so Rust experience is a strong plus. Quality is central to the role: you’ll contribute to and maintain our testing stack, including unit tests for business logic, stubbed API tests for pseudo-integration, snapshot tests for UI and XCUITest for end-to-end user flows. You’ll join a team that pairs deep technical expertise with an obsession for simple, usable interfaces, shipping privacy-preserving products used by millions.

What we are looking for:

• You have experience in iOS in particular with Swift
• You have a passion for mentoring other engineers and helping them grow
• You are passionate about user interaction, usability, and providing an excellent user experience
• Demonstrated experience driving change within an organisation and leading complex technical projects

Purpose of the role: 

As the Engineering Manager for Proton VPN, for the iOS and MacOS team, you lead a team of engineers dedicated to fostering continuous innovation in our applications. The Role
As an engineer on our Apple team you’ll build and ship features across Proton’s apps on iPhone, iPad and macOS, working closely with product and engineers across the company to define what “great” looks like on Apple platforms. Our codebase is primarily Swift with some Go, and we’re moving to a platform-independent Rust logical core that communicates with Swift via a generic interface, so Rust experience is a strong plus. Quality is central to the role: you’ll contribute to and maintain our testing stack, including unit tests for business logic, stubbed API tests for pseudo-integration, snapshot tests for UI and XCUITest for end-to-end user flows. The Role

We’re looking for an iOS Developer Intern to help build and launch a brand-new iOS application from the ground up. You’ll work closely with senior iOS engineers, a product manager, and a designer to develop and iterate on core features using SwiftUI and The Composable Architecture (TCA). Purpose of the role:  

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Test Engineer to join our distributed team. As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of Proton Pass product for Android, iOS and Web platforms. You will play a crucial role in establishing QA processes and contributing to the release of our product every few weeks. • Assurer l'expertise technique de haut niveau et la résolution des incidents complexes (Niveau 3 - 4).
• Garantir la sécurité et la conformité des infrastructures, notamment en configurant les politiques de sécurité.
• Mener des projets d'envergure (migrations, déploiements de nouvelles fonctionnalités, automatisation des tâches via API/scripting).
• Animer une veille technologique et accompagner la montée en compétences des équipes.

STACK TECHNIQUE

• Workspace One (plateforme principale)
• Systèmes d'exploitation : Android (majoritaire), iOS
• Concept UEM (Unified Endpoint Management)
• Outils de Scripting (Powershell, Python), et d'automatisation API.

CE QUE TU APPORTES

Tes dernières expériences t’ont permis de développer une expertise avérée dans la configuration et la gestion de la plateforme Workspace One et de consolider tes connaissances en UEM.

• Expertise dans la gestion de plateformes UEM, idéalement Workspace One (une certification est un plus).
• Maîtrise des spécificités de gestion d'entreprise des OS mobiles (Android, iOS).
• Expérience solide dans la configuration des politiques de sécurité des appareils et des applications.
• Capacité à diagnostiquer et à résoudre des problèmes techniques complexes (Niveau 3 et 4).
• Rigueur, autonomie et esprit d'analyse pour définir et documenter une stratégie technique claire.
• Familiarité avec les outils de scripting pour l'automatisation (un avantage).
