JOB OVERVIEW

This role will support the graphics team by creating and managing assets for digital advertising, social media, tradeshows, printing, presentations, and much more all while maintaining brand consistency and bringing fun ideas to life. ThreatLocker Graphic Design Intern is responsible for, but not limited to:

• Using design templates to create marketing materials such as email marketing campaigns assets, blogs, white papers, brochures, presentations, and other multimedia assets.
• Collaborating directly with senior designers to learn the development and implementation of industry-level design.
• Contributing to user-centric digital experiences where applicable using UX/UI design practices.
• Maintaining brand guidelines across all deliverables and ensuring adherence to visual standards.
• Staying on deadline and within compliance guidelines.
• Reviewing and implementing constructive feedback to maintain high-quality standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
• The role will be based in Orlando, FL and is an in-office position.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Basic understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and responsive design.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, PowerPoint)
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Attention to detail, creativity, and willingness to learn from senior designers.
• The ideal candidate is organized, eager to learn, and capable of managing multiple projects while meeting deadlines.

PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS

• Portfolio demonstrating design work (academic, personal, or professional).
• Understanding of UX/UI principles and tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD

Environmental Science Associates (ESA) is seeking a Proposal Coordinator to join our Southeast marketing team. We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented professional with at least 2+ years of experience to support the development of high-quality proposals and qualifications in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (A/E/C) marketplace.  Strong preference given to candidates with 5+ years of experience.

The Proposal Coordinator will play an important role in preparing and coordinating Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Qualifications (RFQs), and other marketing materials that support ESA’s business development efforts throughout the Southeast. This position works closely with technical staff, project managers, and marketing professionals to produce clear, compelling, and compliant proposals that highlight ESA’s expertise in environmental planning, science, engineering, and design.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational and writing skills, initiative, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent pursuits in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

This position will be based in Tampa or Orlando, Florida, with office presence as needed.

Who You Are

You are a motivated marketing professional who enjoys working collaboratively with technical teams to develop persuasive proposals and strategic marketing materials.

• You have at least two years of professional experience, preferably supporting proposal development or marketing in Florida.
• You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining high-quality deliverables.
• You are organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• You possess strong writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical information into clear and compelling messaging.
• You are an effective collaborator who can gather and synthesize information from engineers, planners, scientists, designers, and other subject-matter experts to develop persuasive proposals and marketing materials.
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and have experience using Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign; familiarity with Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus.
• You have experience working with CRM systems, preferably Deltek (Vision or Vantagepoint).
• You hold an Associate degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required; additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree. 
• Experience in the A/E/C or environmental consulting industry is highly preferred but not required.
• You are interested in working with a team of planners, engineers, scientists, biologists, and designers who share a passion for sustainability and environmental stewardship.

What You Will Do for ESA

In this role, you will support ESA’s Southeast Region in meeting and exceeding annual business development goals by coordinating proposals and supporting regional marketing initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating and producing multidisciplinary proposals, qualifications packages, and marketing materials in collaboration with technical teams.
• Ensuring proposals are accurate, compliant, visually compelling, and delivered on schedule.
• Supporting the pursuit and client management process, including receiving, reviewing, and distributing marketing leads and opportunities.
• Assisting with data collection and records management for proposals, projects, personnel, clients, and teaming partners using ESA’s CRM system.
• Maintaining and updating internal qualifications, resumes, and project experience libraries.
• Assisting with teaming partner coordination, including working with prime and subconsultants during pursuits.
• Supporting short-list interview preparation, including development of presentation materials and coordination of rehearsal sessions.
• Participating in regional marketing and business development meetings, supporting opportunity tracking and identifying cross-disciplinary or cross-regional opportunities.
• Assisting with strategic marketing initiatives, including conferences, events, and targeted outreach activities.
• Other Ad Hoc tasks as needed

 We are seeking a passionate Junior UI/UX to help design intuitive, visually appealing, and user-centered digital experiences. You will collaborate with product owners, developers, and senior designers to transform concepts into engaging interfaces that delight users. The role will be based in Orlando, FL and is an in-office position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in designing and improving web and mobile interfaces with a focus on usability and aesthetics.
• Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and design mockups.
• Participate in user research and usability testing to gather feedback and insights.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of design specifications.
• Maintain and expand the design system, ensuring consistency across all digital products.
• Support in preparing and presenting design proposals to stakeholders. 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field (or equivalent experience). 
• Basic understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and responsive design.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Balsamiq, Figma optional Adobe XD, Sketch, or Photoshop/Illustrator.
• Familiarity with prototyping and collaboration tools (e.g., FigJam, InVision, Miro).

• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus.
