About the Role

As a Senior Housekeeper, you are the quality gatekeeper and mentor within our housekeeping operation. In addition to performing high-standard cleans, you’ll inspect the work of others, train new housekeepers, support consistency across properties, and help resolve urgent in-field issues.

This is a hands-on, field-based role ideal for someone who leads by example, takes pride in cleanliness and presentation, and enjoys coaching others to succeed. 

This part-time seasonal role starting in March and ending in September.

Responsibilities

• Perform full-service turnovers of vacation rental homes per brand standards
• Inspect cleans completed by other housekeepers and ensure adherence to SOPs
• Provide mentorship and on-the-job training to new or developing housekeepers
• Help resolve field issues when urgent issues or concerns arise
• Support spot cleans, touch-ups, or guest service follow-ups as needed
• Ensure homes are functional, clean, and stocked (FCS) prior to guest arrival
• Restock consumables and stage decor, linens, and hospitality touches
• Report damages, maintenance needs, or supply gaps via operational systems
• Provide feedback to management on trends, common issues, or performance gaps
• Provide cross-coverage for your manager when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned

Work Environment
This is a highly physical, field-based role that involves cleaning, lifting, standing, walking, and bending for extended periods. Work will take place inside vacation rental properties as well as outside around driveways, decks, and entryways. The ability to work independently and move quickly between homes is essential

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in housekeeping, vacation rental operations, or hospitality
• Demonstrated quality, consistency, and attention to detail in cleaning execution
• Positive attitude and ability to coach and support team members in the field
• Strong understanding of turnover workflows and SOPs
• Physically able to perform cleaning tasks including lifting 25+ lbs, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Smartphone access and comfort using mobile apps to manage tasks
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings as needed

Location – [Rockaway Beach, OR] (On-site)

Travel Required
Frequent local travel between homes

Compensation

• Piece rate ranging between $35 and $310 per unit
• $24.50/hr per hour paid for non cleaning tasks

Pay Transparency

Our compensation reflects several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position represents the expected salary for this position.  Ultimately, in determining your pay it will be based on several factors including location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience and other job related factors.  Roofstock is a total compensation company; the base salary is only a part of our total compensation package.

As a Hospitality Operations Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring exceptional stays and satisfied owners within your assigned zone. You will be directly responsible for the stewardship of a subset of homes within your zone and the relationships with their owners, while at the same time adopting a team mentality to make sure the entire zone is operating well.

You’ll work alongside Hospitality Coordinators and report to the Team Lead, Hospitality Ops. Your primary focus will be on operational execution — making sure homes are functional, clean, and stocked (FCS), supporting guest readiness, resolving in-stay issues, and proactively maintaining owner satisfaction.

This is a field-based, people-first role ideal for someone who loves hospitality, problem-solving, and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Ensure homes under your stewardship are consistently FCS and guest-ready
• Directly manage a team of housekeepers, overseeing day-to-day operations including scheduling, task assignment, performance monitoring, and providing ongoing coaching and feedback.
• Prioritize and delegate tasks, determining which responsibilities to handle directly and which to dispatch to Hospitality Coordinators for completion, such as inspections, restocks, and other hospitality touches across the zone
• Collaborate with Hospitality Coordinators and other Hospitality Operations Managers in your zone to support a team-first mentality at all times 
• Maintain property-level expertise by visiting homes regularly and anticipating guest or owner issues
• Act as the operational point of contact for assigned homeowners, ensuring responsiveness and support 
• Coordinate with central Guest Experience and Maintenance teams to resolve guest-reported issues
• Take ownership of guest and owner issues by independently approving solutions, such as guest compensation and cost-sharing arrangement with owners as needed
• Identify opportunities to elevate the guest experience through personalization, speed, and detail
• Monitor guest review scores and collaborate with your team lead to raise performance where needed
• Support inventory accuracy, issue prevention, and general property care across your assigned homes
• Partner cross-functionally with onboarding, revenue, and field teams to ensure alignment
• Serve as a thought partner to the Team Lead, actively contributing to the design, adaptation, and updating of process flows to better suit the operational needs of the zone
• Support as needed with training of new team members
• Provide cross coverage as needed in other zones
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of operational experience in hospitality, property management, or related field
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience coordinating or delivering fieldwork in a fast-paced setting
• Proven ability to solve problems and act with urgency
• Tech savvy and comfortable using mobile and desktop task tools
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

About the Role

As the Team Lead, Hospitality Operations, you will serve as the day-to-day operational leader of your zone (~100–120 homes). Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll manage a team of Hospitality Operations Managers and Hospitality Coordinators to deliver a five-star guest experience, maintain homeowner satisfaction, and execute key operating standards.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in field operations, enjoys mentoring others, and knows how to drive performance without needing full ownership of sales or pricing strategy. Think of it as a mini-GM role with less direct financial responsibility and more operational execution.

Responsibilities

• Manage all hospitality operations within your zone, overseeing 2–3 Hospitality Ops Managers and a team of Coordinators
• Directly own the relationship with owners for a subset of the homes in your zone, acting as those owners’ Hospitality Operations Manager directly; the number of homes you are directly responsible for will depend on zone dynamics, but the expectation is you would own a similar number of homes as your Hospitality Operations Managers do
• Set your team’s schedule within your zone to best support guests and owners in a sustainable way for the team
• Ensure homes across your zone are consistently functional, clean, and stocked (FCS)
• Lead the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences and prompt resolution of in-stay issues
• Monitor and improve field team productivity, task completion, and inspection coverage
• Uphold standards for cleanliness, maintenance reporting, guest gifts, and hospitality touches
• Ensure timely and accurate supply stocking across homes in your portfolio
• Partner with the General Manager and central teams to align execution with market strategy and collaborate closely in-market with other zones and shared teams
• Act as an escalation point for owner or guest concerns not resolved at the coordinator/manager level
• Provide coaching and development to team members and support performance reviews
• Track and report on operational KPIs including review scores, churn risk, and supply usage
• Other duties as assigned

• Frequent travel within market required
• Availability to frequently work weekends, holidays, early mornings, and evenings (with 2 days off each week)

Qualifications

• 5+ years in hospitality, operations, or property management
• Experience leading frontline or field teams in high-volume, service-focused environments
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Comfortable using mobile tools and task management platforms
• Attention to detail and commitment to brand standards
• Calm under pressure and responsive in the face of guest or owner escalations
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
