We are currently seeking a talented MuleSoft Architect to join our dynamic team supporting our client in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Job Description – Objectstream, Inc. is seeking an experienced MuleSoft Architect to lead the design, upgrade, and modernization of our integration platform. This role will be responsible for driving enterprise-level initiatives including MuleSoft runtime upgrades, CloudHub 2.0 migration, and Anypoint Platform governance modernization. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in MuleSoft, strong architectural leadership, and experience with secure, scalable cloud integrations.
Job Responsibilities:
MuleSoft Platform Upgrade
- Lead the upgrade of MuleSoft runtime from MuleSoft 4.4 to 4.9 LTS with Java 17 compatibility
- Assess and remediate compatibility issues across APIs, connectors, and custom components
- Ensure adherence to MuleSoft best practices and performance optimization during upgrade
- Coordinate regression testing, deployment planning, and rollback strategies
- Document upgrade approach, risks, and mitigation strategies
CloudHub 2.0 Migration
- Architect and execute migration from CloudHub 1.0 to CloudHub 2.0
- Design and configure Private Spaces, including secure networking and isolation
- Implement and manage VPN connectivity, DNS configurations, and certificate management
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and security in the new CloudHub 2.0 environment
- Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, and security teams for seamless migration
Anypoint Control Plane Modernization
- Lead migration to Anypoint Teams for improved access control and governance
- Integrate MuleSoft platform with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) using group-based access control
- Design and implement role-based access models aligned with enterprise security standards
- Establish governance frameworks, policies, and best practices for API lifecycle management
- Improve platform observability, auditability, and operational efficiency
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in integration architecture and API-led connectivity
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
- Proven experience with:
- MuleSoft runtime upgrades (4.x)
- CloudHub migrations (preferably CloudHub 2.0)
- Anypoint Platform security and governance
- Strong expertise in Java (Java 11/17) and integration patterns
- Experience with networking concepts including VPNs, DNS, and TLS/SSL certificates
- Familiarity with identity providers such as Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and SSO integrations
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architecture
Preferred Qualifications:
- MuleSoft Certified Architect or Developer certifications
- Experience with DevOps tools (CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
- Knowledge of containerization and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP)
- Experience with API governance frameworks and enterprise integration patterns

Job Summary
This Senior Full Stack Engineer engineer role in which you lead technical efforts across multiple teams or subsystems, owning system architecture and development across the stack. A Senior Software Engineer drives technical innovation, acts as a mentor and process advocate, driving improvements that scale beyond a single team. You will exercise high discretion over technical decisions and influence department-level business outcomes. Providing strong leadership within and across scrum teams to align execution with architectural vision.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Proactively research, prototype, and introduce new technologies or architectural approaches that improve team or org-wide capabilities.
- Own the reliability, observability, and operational excellence of key systems—ensuring they meet or exceed defined SLAs.
- Actively mentor and sponsor engineers across levels, fostering career growth and encouraging broader technical participation.
- Continuously evolve team processes, driving scalable improvements in delivery, quality, and collaboration.
- Drive impact at the team and cross-team level.
- Provide strong technical leadership across one or more scrum teams, aligning execution with architectural vision and business goals.
Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- 6-8 years of experience of software development experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript.
- Extensive experience with React and JavaScript web development frameworks (Next.js preferred)
- Familiarity with OAuth2, JWT, and other authentication/authorization frameworks.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment platforms (Vercel, AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience with ORM frameworks and relational databases (Prisma, Drizzle, PostgreSQL)
- Strong understanding of integration patterns (pub/sub, webhook, ETL, etc.).
- Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Experience
- Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) and AI application development
- Experience building AI automation workflows with n8n or similar platforms (Make, Zapier, Temporal)
- Experience with embeddings, prompt engineering, and semantic search
- Familiarity with AI orchestration frameworks and agent-based systems

The national estimate for the current base range for the position of Senior Full Stack Engineer is: $140,400 - $175,500.
This position may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary bonus program or commission plan, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
