Senior Software Security Engineer, Full Stack

ABOUT THE JOB
We're seeking a full stack Security Software Engineer to develop novel security tooling for securing our suite of products including and detecting potential cybersecurity issues across embedded Linux systems and Android devices. The ideal candidate can develop across the the full stack - from Linux eBPF programs to cloud backends and everything in between.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Design and develop cybersecurity tools for embedded Linux and Android systems.
- Build and maintain backend services with REST APIs running on cloud platforms.
- Create user-friendly frontends using React and TypeScript.
- Manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and/or AWS CDK.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify security needs and implement solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to security best practices.
- Stay updated on the latest security threats and technologies.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of software development experience in some combination of Golang, Rust, Kotlin, and TypeScript.

The Solutions Engineer Opportunity

What you’ll bring to the role
- 5+ years pre-sales engineering experience, selling SaaS products.
- A passion to serve the Customer, demonstrated in a customer-facing role, such as consulting or support, but ideally in a pre-sales capacity.
- An ability to quickly communicate complex ideas around a technical topic, ideally on the fly, using a whiteboard.
- Experience with at least one standard network security protocol. (eg. OAuth, OAuth2, SAML, LDAP)
- Hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas: web (JavaScript, HTML, frontend frameworks) development, mobile (iOS, Android) development, backend (Java, C#, Node.js, Python, PHP, Ruby) development, IP-based real-time communications.
- An understanding of core security concerns within a typical application. (password hashing, SSL/TLS, encryption at rest, XSS, XSRF)
- Exceptional communicator.
- Confident dispensing knowledge to highly-skilled and experienced audiences.
- Typically 25% travel.

- Support instructor-led training that prepares students for entry-level to mid-level careers in IT Support. Responsibilities include daily instruction, assessment administration, attendance, one-on-one tutoring, daily evaluation and monitoring of individual student progress, addressing student violations with students in a consistent manner, and more
- Provide students with access to relevant resources for outside learning on technologies and study aids relevant to the curriculum

We are looking for an IT Support Technician to join our IT Infrastructure Team. This individual will report into our IT Team Lead and is responsible for providing hands-on technical support and maintaining IT infrastructure at the Canal Winchester, Ohio fulfillment center and office facility. The individual will serve as the primary on-site IT point of contact and escalation resource for all infrastructure and end-user technology related issues at the facility.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST
Base Salary: $57,000 – $71,000 per year
Responsibilities:
- Provide timely technical support for on-site and remote end users
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, network, and infrastructure issues
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot a wide range of IT systems and devices, including PC/laptop hardware and software, printers, network equipment, video surveillance systems, and voice/phone systems
- Support warehouse technologies including RF scanners, barcode scanners, tablets, wireless access points, and related systems
- Provide basic network support including switch patching, cabling validation, and wireless troubleshooting
- Perform basic administration of Microsoft 365 and Azure AD accounts, user access, and permission management
- Deploy and maintain desktop images and application software
- Conduct IT onboarding for new hires, including device provisioning, account and access setup, and onboarding sessions with end users
- Coordinate and work with third-party vendors for hardware repairs, network cabling, and other technical service requests
- Provide 'remote hands and eyes' support for corporate IT and external vendors
- Assist with security systems including video surveillance and access control technologies
- Ensure adherence to company IT security standards, patching policies, and access control procedures
- Maintain asset inventory and lifecycle management for IT equipment
- Document technical procedures and update IT support documentation
- Manage and monitor the company's ticketing system to track, prioritize, and resolve incidents and service requests
- Safely lift and move moderately heavy equipment such as computers and printers
- Provide occasional off-hours or emergency support when required
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in IT, Business, or similar field
- 2+ years of Level1/Level2 IT Support experience
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating system and PC hardware
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, switching, wireless)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution facility environment

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Support instructor-led training that prepares students for entry-level to mid-level careers in IT Support. Responsibilities include daily instruction, assessment administration, attendance, one-on-one tutoring, daily evaluation and monitoring of individual student progress, addressing student violations with students in a consistent manner, and more
- Provide students with access to relevant resources for outside learning on technologies and study aids relevant to the curriculum
- Work closely with the team to identify student needs, provide the necessary support, establish individualized plans for student achievement, and participate in regular student-status meetings.
- Maintain and update Salesforce and/or our LMS with student grades, certification scores, and progress notes.
- Support and maintain the training curricula, syllabi, lesson plans, and other classroom materials.
