The Role
We’re looking for an excellent and outgoing Pastry Chef who is truly passionate about food to join our pastry kitchen team at Soho House Amsterdam. In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality pastry across several kitchens, ensuring consistency, creativity, and strong preparation at all times.
You’ll manage daily mise‑en‑place, prepare, cook, and present pastries from the menu in line with company standards, and work closely with the wider kitchen team to support smooth service. Maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and correct use of equipment is a key part of the role.

In a nutshell
We’re looking for a Cook for our Fulfilment Center in Zwolle. Ready to take on the challenge of making sure all 200+ hungry employees can enjoy delicious meals in our company restaurant? This opportunity is for you!
Where will you be working? Picnic allows you to do your shopping online with the press of a button. The products our customers order are collected by Shoppers in one of our Fulfilment centers. It’s a place where people work hard, and working hard makes you hungry. That’s where you come in!
What will you be doing?
We offer catering from our canteen to provide good meals to all our hungry employees. Together with a team, you’ll make sure stomachs are full and the canteen stays tidy and efficiently organized. From serving lunch and dinner, to making sure the right amount of ingredients are ordered, to cleaning the canteen: it’s all your responsibility! You’ll also be the one creating the menu and receiving all the compliments at the end of the meals!
Tricks of the trade
- Making delicious meals for large groups (200+ employees).
- Creating creative new meals.
- Directing teams in the kitchens.
- Working according to the HACCP approach. You have a HACCP certificate.
About you...
- Experience as a chef or cook.
- Fluent in English and able to understand basic Dutch.
- Availability to work in the following shifts; 06:00 - 15:00 and 15:00 - 00:00.
- Available to work 3-5 days per week including one weekend shift per week.
- Ideally, ready to start working immediately!
