The Role

We are looking for an elite engineer who builds like a hacker and communicates like a consultant. You will not just be building models in a notebook; you will be deployed to the front lines to build, architect, and ship end-to-end Agentic AI products directly for our most strategic customers.

This is a high-stakes role. You will face "tricky" customers who have vague requirements and high expectations. Your job is to translate their chaos into technical order, write production-grade code, and deploy autonomous agents that solve their actual business problems.

What You Will Do

• Build & Deploy (60%):

Design and ship full-stack AI applications. You own the pipeline from data ingestion to the LLM inference layer to the frontend interface.

Architect autonomous agentic workflows (using frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, or custom implementations) that can reason, plan, and execute complex tasks.

Write robust, clean, and highly testable code (Python/Typescript). "It works on my machine" is not acceptable; it must work in the customer's restricted cloud environment.

Handle DevOps and MLOps constraints: Dockerizing agents, managing Kubernetes clusters, and optimizing inference latency.

• Customer Engineering (40%):

Serve as the technical face of the company for our most demanding accounts.

Navigate complex stakeholder environments. You will push back on unrealistic demands, clarify ambiguous requirements, and steer "tricky" customers toward technically feasible solutions without breaking rapport.

Translate technical constraints into business value for non-technical executives.

Generate high-quality data for our customers and ability to review the data generated by other experts. This is one of the most critical aspects of the role.

The "Must-Haves"

• Experience: 8–12 years of total engineering experience. You started as a strong Software Engineer and evolved into an AI specialist.
• Education: B.S./M.S. in Computer Science, Math, or Physics from a top-tier institution (IIT, MIT, Stanford, Harvard, Berkeley, CMU, or similar global top-ranking universities).
• Deep AI Fluency: You aren't just calling APIs. You understand RAG implementation nuances, vector database optimization, fine-tuning (LoRA/PEFT), and the architecture of agentic loops.
• Production Engineering: Experience with end-to-end deployment (AWS/GCP/Azure, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, Docker).

The "Why You" (Soft Skills)

• Thick Skin & High EQ: You don't get flustered when a customer changes their mind for the third time in a week. You can hold your ground with a CTO and explain "why not" to a CEO.
• Extreme Attention to Detail: You catch the edge cases that others miss. You obsess over error handling, retry logic in agents, and data privacy.
• Grit: You enjoy the "messy" work of integrating legacy enterprise data just as much as prompting the latest model.

• Public Code: A visible GitHub footprint is very helpful. We want to see your side projects, your contributions to open source, or your experiments with LLMs. Please include your GitHub link in your application.

Tech Stack

• Languages: Python (Expert).
• AI/Data (Expertise in all is not required): PyTorch, LangChain, LlamaIndex, Pinecone/Weaviate, OpenAI/Anthropic APIs, HuggingFace.

About the role: 

Turing is looking for people with LLM experience to join us in solving business problems for our Fortune 500 customers. You will be a key member of the Turing GenAI delivery organization and part of a GenAI project. You will be required to work with a team of other Turing engineers across different skill sets. In the past, the Turing GenAI delivery organization has implemented industry leading multi-agent LLM systems, RAG systems, and Open Source LLM deployments for major enterprises. 

Required skills

• 8 + years of professional, hands-on engineering experience, including 4–6+ years specializing in building and deploying AI/ML models and systems.
• 1+ year of experience in developing Generative AI (LLM) applications using techniques like prompt engineering, RAG, and/or agents.
• Expert in architecting GenAI applications/systems using various frameworks & cloud services
• Good proficiency in using various cloud services from Azure, GCP, or AWS for building the GenAI applications
• Expert proficiency in programming skills in Python, Langchain/Langgraph and SQL is a must.
• Experience in driving the engineering team toward a technical roadmap.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with business SMEs

Roles & Responsibilities

• Build the technical roadmap given a business requirement and own the delivery of the same.
• Lead the engineering team toward a technical roadmap and ensure timely execution of the roadmap to achieve customer satisfaction. 
• Develop and optimize LLM-based solutions: Lead the design, training, fine-tuning, and deployment of large language models, leveraging techniques like prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and agent-based architectures.
• Codebase ownership: Maintain high-quality, efficient code in Python (using frameworks like LangChain/LangGraph) and SQL, focusing on reusable components, scalability, and performance best practices.
• Cloud integration: Aide in deployment of GenAI applications on cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, or AWS), optimizing resource usage and ensuring robust CI/CD processes.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with product owners, data scientists, and business SMEs to define project requirements, translate technical details, and deliver impactful AI products.
• Mentoring and guidance: Provide technical leadership and knowledge-sharing to the engineering team, fostering best practices in machine learning and large language model development.
• Continuous innovation: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in LLM research and generative AI, proposing and experimenting with emerging techniques to drive ongoing improvements in model performance.

Education

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Data Engineer with experience working with GCP wanted to join us on a permanent basis. You can either join us in our growing Mumbai team or join us remotely from across India. 

Step into the Koppling workstream as a Data Engineer and be a key player in building a sophisticated media data warehouse. Your role will involve developing and deploying robust ETL/ELT data pipelines to automate the integration of 3rd party data sources at scale. This is an excellent opportunity to apply solid technical problem-solving skills, advance your data engineering capabilities, and gain a foundational understanding of the marketing data domain. You'll contribute to creating a centralized, reliable data source that informs critical business decisions, working within a collaborative team environment.

What you’ll be doing

• Developing, and deploying robust ETL/ELT data pipelines using Python and SQL to integrate various 3rd party data sources.
• Automating the integration of 3rd party data sources at scale, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness for our media data warehouse.
• Utilizing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as BigQuery, Cloud Run, and Scheduler for efficient data processing and orchestration.
• Performing data modeling and transformations using dbt and SQL to structure and refine data within the media data warehouse.
• Managing and version controlling pipeline code and configurations using Git, ensuring collaborative development and deployment.
• Troubleshooting and optimizing existing data pipelines to enhance reliability, performance, and scalability.
• Applying infrastructure-as-code principles to manage data resources, potentially using tools like Terraform for environment provisioning.
• Developing or integrating APIs for complex data ingestion and exploring the use of streaming data technologies like Kafka or Pub/Sub for real-time data needs.
• Implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to automate the testing, deployment, and monitoring of data solutions.

What we want from you

• Professional experience in data engineering or a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services including BigQuery, Cloud Run, and Scheduler.
• Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Experience with dbt.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code principles.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT processes, and data modeling.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
