Garda is seeking a Sr. Compensation Analyst to support and deliver strategic, technical and execution-based compensation initiatives supporting our end-to-end investment and business functions. We are hiring in either our New York or Wayzata office. This job post is for the Wayzata office role. 

As a member of our HR Operations team within the Human Capital Management (HCM) function, you will work closely with internal HCM, Finance/Controller & IT teams, supporting our annual compensation process, utilizing internal business systems and HR technologies. This role plays an essential part in ensuring our compensation programs enable us to attract, retain, and reward top talent.

This position focuses on designing and maintaining job architecture frameworks, including job leveling, titling, and career laddering; leading compensation planning cycles involving salary benchmarking, merit increases, and variable compensation programs; and building and maintaining complex Excel models to drive technical analysis, compensation scenario modeling, and reporting for Garda senior leaders. This role will serve as a primary compensation point of contact for our global business.

Primary responsibilities for the role include:

• Own and manage the end-to-end annual compensation cycle, including compensation benchmarking, salary planning, and the variable compensation process.
• Build, maintain, and improve complex Excel-based compensation models across multiple distinct incentive schemes, including base pay, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, and other variable pay structures, each with their own logic and inputs.
• Develop and maintain analytics using excel and other compensation tools. Perform rigorous analyses on complex data sets (including internal and external benchmarks) to tell visually compelling stories and provide strategic insights, hypotheses, and conclusions based upon findings to leaders at all levels.
• Create compensation policies, procedures, and training materials, and communicate to employees and Senior Leaders.
• Partner closely with the Controller team with other functions to respond to requests for information and analysis using HR and Finance data systems.
• Monitor regulatory changes (FLSA, EEO, pay transparency) to maintain compliance.
• Manage compensation survey participation and submissions; conduct follow-up research and analysis of survey results to assess market positioning, identify compensation gaps, and model proposed structure changes; present findings and recommendations to HCM and business leadership to support annual compensation planning and ongoing pay equity initiatives.
• Maintain and govern job architecture, including job evaluations, market pricing, and compensation structure management for the global population.
• Advise and partner with Talent Acquisition, HCM, and managers on compensation decisions.
• Identify overall areas for process improvement and establish effective and efficient processes.
• Support additional HCM initiatives, operational activities, and cross-functional projects as needed to meet evolving business and organizational priorities.

Qualifications & Desired Skills 

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, human resources, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of Compensation experience.
• Proven analytical, modeling, and reporting capabilities.
• Understanding of HR processes, policies, and regulations related to Compensation and Variable Pay

The Role 

As a manufacturing facility Plant Controller with Green Thumb, you will be an integral part of the plant management team as well as a key member of the Operations Finance team. As such, this position requires direct involvement in both plant operations and accounting/finance activities and initiatives as required. Duties include overall responsibility for accuracy and timeliness of financial and operational management information to be used in reporting financial results as well as managing the facility, and more specifically as follows; 

Responsibilities 

• Perform monthly closing of financials for facility in accordance with GAAP and Company policy  

• Prepare monthly analysis of financial results including variance / bridging analysis in coordination with the facility GM and operational staff  

• Coordination and oversight of physical inventories, SOX, and audits with plant sites  

• Prepare daily/weekly labor utilization plan, including headcount and overtime reporting  

• Lead and prepare annual budget and monthly forecasts comparing projected results to prior year, budget and previous forecasts  

• Coordinate evaluation of capital projects and approval process  

• Maintain fixed asset register: record new assets, transfers or retirements and calculate monthly depreciation figures 

• Perform operational analysis, trend projections and forecasting  

• Lead site level financial meetings, participate in site level leadership meetings, provide financial visibility to business partners for decision making 

• Review site performance and KPI data with management; understand trends and help analyze root causes. 

• Lead and/or participate on cross-functional teams to ensure the continuous, on-going improvement of processes, methods, productivity and quality, while reducing costs  

• Provide reports and data to manufacturing department heads to assist them in managing their department expenses (including, but not limited to spending reports, operating reports, and variance analyses)  

• Work with operations finance team to calculate, analyze, and maintain data to determine standard costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory, and labor   

• Responsible to monitor and maintain proper inventory reporting and control at the site - Inventory reconciliation, cycle counts, inventory discard process etc.

• Assist ERP Project implementation team and lead site level ERP implementation

Summary of Job:

The Regional Account Manager (RAM) – Rare Disease is a critical commercial role responsible for expanding the diagnosed patient population and driving appropriate treatment initiation through education-driven, data-informed field engagement. This role is designed to complement existing Regional Business Manager (RBM) coverage by placing primary emphasis on new and earlier patient identification, diagnostic pathway enablement, and referral network activation.

In rare disease markets, where growth is driven by patient identification rather than market share shifts, the Regional Account Manager focuses on uncovering diagnostic gaps, enabling earlier disease recognition, and ensuring appropriate handoff of qualified patient opportunities to RBMs for treatment initiation and account execution. The RAM serves as a field integrator across the local ecosystem and works in close collaboration with Regional Business Managers and relevant cross-functional partners

Essential Functions:

Patient Identification & Diagnostic Enablement

• Identify rare disease patients through engagement with healthcare providers, including but not limited to IM/FP, General Pediatrics, Rheumatology, Physical Therapy, Pain Management, and other non-traditional specialties
• Identify and address diagnostic gaps within targeted accounts that may delay or prevent accurate diagnosis
• Map, influence, and support local diagnostic and referral pathways to reduce time from disease suspicion to confirmed diagnosis
• Support appropriate use of diagnostic tools and specialist referrals, including utilization of approved HCP identification tools
• Serve as a field integrator to help ensure potential patients are identified throughout the diagnostic journey

Territory Strategy & Data-Driven Execution

• Develop and execute a business plan focused on patient identification and diagnostic activation
• Utilize claims data, internal analytics, Power BI mapping, and other approved data sources to identify high-probability patient opportunities
• Continuously refine targeting and territory strategy based on real-world outcomes, field insights, and performance metrics
• Analyze local and regional trends to inform short- and long-term business planning

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner closely with Regional Business Managers and appropriate cross-functional partners to ensure coordinated, compliant patient identification efforts
• Execute compliant transitions of qualified patient opportunities to RBMs for treatment initiation and account execution

Compliance & Professional Conduct

• Communicate all disease, diagnostic, and product-related information in a truthful, non-misleading manner consistent with company policies and all applicable laws and regulations
• Utilize only on-label, approved materials and seek guidance from management, Compliance, or Legal when uncertainty exists

Job Requirements:

Education 

• Bachelor’s degree in science or business required. 

Experience 

• Minimum of 5 years of rare disease experience or experience selling in complex disease states preferred
• Demonstrated experience and success in patient identification, disease education, or complex diagnostic markets
• Proven ability to operate effectively in long-cycle sales environments

The anticipated salary for this position will be $185,500 to $202,000. The actual salary offered for this role at commencement of employment may vary based on several factors including but not limited to relevant experience, skill set, qualifications, education (including applicable licenses and certifications, job-based knowledge, location, and other business and organizational needs.
