Position Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical and disciplined Trader to execute and manage long only and hedged equity strategies in separately managed accounts (SMAs). The equities strategies include the utilization of options and/or short positions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of options pricing, volatility, risk management, and execution, along with a solid grasp of how these strategies are applied within broader portfolios. This includes an understanding of underlying equity positions, position sizing, sector exposures, and how options impact overall portfolio construction. Primary Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor the individual stock (long only and hedged) trading strategies across Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs).

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical and disciplined Trader to execute and manage long only and hedged equity strategies in separately managed accounts (SMAs). The equities strategies include the utilization of options and/or short positions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of options pricing, volatility, risk management, and execution, along with a solid grasp of how these strategies are applied within broader portfolios. This includes an understanding of underlying equity positions, position sizing, sector exposures, and how options impact overall portfolio construction. This role also demands strong quantitative skills, real-time decision-making ability, and a consistent track record of disciplined execution.

Focus provides team members the flexibility to work a hybrid schedule. Our hybrid model is defined as 3 days in office work required per week, while giving team members the option to work remotely 2 days per week, or as assigned by their team leader.

Primary Responsibilities

Position Summary

The Director of Data Analytics will help lead the FP&A and data analytics strategy for the wealth management business, transforming client, advisor, operational, and financial data into actionable insights that improve growth, advisor productivity, and business performance. This role will partner closely with advisory, investment, operations, technology, compliance, and finance team members to build scalable reporting, strengthen data governance, and advance a more data-driven organization. The Director will help build scalable reporting frameworks for billable client assets and firm-level performance benchmarking.

This position will be an integral contributor to the company’s FP&A and data analytics.

This reports to the VP of FP&A and Data Analytics.  

This role can be located in New York, NY; New Hyde Park, NY; St. Louis, MO

Primary Responsibilities

• Help build and develop a high-performing finance data analytics team responsible for dashboards, KPI reporting, ad hoc analysis, business intelligence, and advanced analytics.
• Partner across all business disciplines to improve data quality, establish common definitions, and enable trusted analytics across CRM, portfolio reporting systems and billing systems.
• Deliver meaningful reporting across client trends, segmentation, productivity, profitability, and retention metrics.
• Navigate the firm's data warehouse capabilities, ensuring clean integration of data to our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and other reporting platforms.
• Identify and implement opportunities to use predictive analytics and AI to improve process automation.
• Drive adoption of self-service analytics tools, data literacy, and a culture of evidence-based decision-making across the finance organization.
• Establish strong standards for governance, date quality, and privacy to support regulatory, risk, and audit requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, statistics, finance, computer science, or a related quantitative field
• 7 to 10 years of progressive experience in data analytics in a large and complex environment
• Proficiency in SQL, Python/R, and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to explain complex analyses to non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated understanding and experience in financial services.
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse).
• Familiarity with Workday ERP and Adaptive Planning.
• Experience implementing predictive analytics, machine learning, or self-service analytics programs in a regulated environment.
