Role Summary and Impact

As part of the Global Operations Centre (GOC), you will work closely with teams across the United States, Europe, and Asia to deliver high-impact solutions in a collaborative, multicultural environment. We are looking for an Analytics manager who will:

• Develop and execute the analytics strategy aligned with overall business goals, identifying high-impact analytical opportunities. 

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of analytics professionals (Associates and Senior Associates). 

• Oversee multiple concurrent analytical projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and alignment with business objectives and resource allocation. 

• Act as a primary point of contact for senior business stakeholders, understanding their challenges, translating them into analytical problems and presenting solutions. 

• Drive the adoption of advanced analytical techniques and cutting-edge tools to enhance team capabilities and efficiency. 

• Establish and monitor key metrics for team productivity and project success. 

Skills and Experience

• Experience: 3+ years of experience in analytics 

  Technical Skills: 

  • Expert in leading BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) for client reporting. 
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) and data lakes and Alteryx or data transformation/processing in the cloud (e.g., Azure, GCP, Power Apps, Power Automate).
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration abilities. Proven ability to influence and drive change through data. 
  • Reporting Structure: Reports to a Director or Senior Director of Analytics

Role Summary and Impact

As part of the Global Operations Centre (GOC), you will work closely with teams across the United States, Europe, and Asia to deliver high-impact solutions in a collaborative, multicultural environment. We are looking for a Data Engineer Manager who will:

• Collaborate closely with a team of data engineers, developers, and UX designers to create and optimize data pipelines and workflows supporting media performance reporting.
• Manage the design, build, and maintenance phases of client reporting projects.
• Work with Business Intelligence/Data Operations to define and document comprehensive reporting and visualization requirements.
• Ensure high data quality and provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing data workspaces.
• Deploy new client teams to cloud data solutions, offering guidance and support throughout the onboarding process.
• Define clear QA guidelines and automate current QA processes to enhance efficiency.
• With the support of the Associate Director, develop innovative tools, processes, and best practices to achieve workflow efficiencies and drive value for both client teams and clients.
• Act as the subject matter expert for all questions and projects related to data quality, BI tools, and business rules, ensuring that best practices are consistently followed across all initiatives.
• Facilitate effective communication and ensure task progression through regular status meetings and working sessions; proactively identify and resolve project roadblocks and issues.
• Efficiently track and manage a high volume of tasks across multiple stakeholders and projects.
• Build positive and collaborative relationships with internal teams, effectively communicating roles, responsibilities, and expectations.

Skills and Experience

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Statistics, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related scientific field is preferred.
• Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in data governance processes within a data warehousing, ETL, and business intelligence environment.
• Experience with the full development life cycle of an application or reporting solution – from design through testing and deployment.
• Experience in a media environment (digital investment, analytics, or ad operations) is preferred; an understanding of the media landscape is beneficial.
• Experience and understanding of processes across multiple media channels (digital, search, social, offline, etc.) and handling diverse datasets (paid media, owned, etc.).

Technical Skills:

• Advanced knowledge of databases and data warehouses is crucial, including SQL (most important), MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redshift, Snowflake, etc.
• Advanced knowledge of one or more programming languages is essential, with Python being highly valued.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, GCP, or AWS (familiarity with any major cloud provider is key).
• Knowledge of data engineering platforms such as Databricks.
• Familiarity with project/product management tools like Jira, Confluence, Smartsheets, Azure DevOps/VSTS.
• Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, etc.
• Experience with advertising campaign management/buying platforms (e.g., Sizmek, GCM, Flashtalking, Moat, DV, IAS, Mediaocean, Media Tools, Nielsen, ComScore, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Snapchat, 4C, Brand Networks, YouTube, Google Ads, Bing, Kenshoo, SA360, DV360, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) is highly beneficial.
