About the Role
We are looking for a Regional Sales Director to join our Sales and Go-to-Market team. Leader must be based in the Mid Atlantic region reporting to the Regional Vice President of East. You will be part of a global group of professionals passionate about delighting our customers, nurturing trusted partnerships, and sharing expertise to drive a secure, cloud-enabled digital future. By demonstrating the power and agility of cloud transformation, you will help cement our position as the world leader in cloud security.
What you’ll do (Role Expectations)
- Recruit, hire and develop world-class sales talent, build development plans for each sales rep, and coach and motivate sales team to overachieve on targets
- Understand and solve customer pain points through Zscaler's unique value proposition
- Be the GM of your business and create a plan for success, and accurately forecast business monthly/quarterly/yearly
- Act as the executive sponsor for key partners to create joint plans, generate pipeline and drive opportunities to closure

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- 2+ years of full-cycle sales leadership experience within the software or security industry
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- Progressive selling experience engaging with enterprise accounts and selling at the C-Level
- Residency in or willingness to commute within Ohio

- Established relationships with current and prospective customers and a deep understanding of how technology facilitates high-level business goals

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Product Owners in preparation for SAFe/agile ceremonies, including sprint reviews, Inspect and Adapt, and Program Increment (PI) planning events
- Analyze user’s requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications. Analyzes system requirements and leads design and development activities. Guides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies. Provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology. Incorporates new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations. Develops technical documentation. Develops system Architecture and system design documentation. Guides system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans. Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts. Ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility. Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.
Requirements:
- A High School Diploma or GED plus twelve (12) years of general system engineering experience.

A Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus seven (7) years of systems engineering experience.

Job Responsibilities
- Build and maintain robust, performant, user-facing web applications in Python/Django supporting millions of daily users
