The Data Science Team within Customer Success is highly engaged with our clients making use of their critical thinking skills with a business-focused mentality and customer-facing attitude. Your Day to Day:
- Understanding the data which our clients provide to us;
- Cleaning that data and validating that it is correct;
- Preprocessing the data, usually by using a mixture of shell scripts and a programming language such as Python, Java, Scala, etc
- Iteratively computing features and tuning parameters to improve the quality of the model;
- Communicating your findings to the project manager and assisting him/her in decision making on the Data Science part of the project;
- Work together with key stakeholders (data scientists, engineers, risk managers) from our clients;
- Work with other parts of the organization (Product, Research, etc.) to improve processes, best practices and tooling.
You Have & You Know-how:
- MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Physics or related field;
- Proficient in Machine Learning (training and testing, avoiding overfit, etc.);
- Knowledge of Big Data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop and related;
- Proficiency in bash, Python and either Java or Scala;
- Knowledge of resource monitoring and runtime optimization (both at JVM and OS level);
- Knowledge of statistics or data visualization is a plus;
- Knowledge of tree based algorithms (Random Forests, XGBoost, LGBM) is a plus;
- Knowledge of Deep Learning algorithms is a plus;
- Ability to communicate your findings in a clear way.

Data Engineer
Important Information
Location: BGC, Makati
Experience: min 4-6 years
Job Mode: Contract (subject for regularization)
Work Mode: 2x a week Onsite
Responsibilities and Duties
- Design and develop data pipelines that will ingest the data from the respective source systems into the data warehouse
- Support and optimize existing data pipelines to ensure that the downstream SLAs are met
- Responsible in attending agile ceremonies as part of the Agile Tribe set-up and delivering the different demands of the Tribe related to data ingestions to the data warehouse platform
- Ensures data quality within the data warehouse tables
- Ensures the data engineering standards and practices are followed like code version history, readability, functionality, extendibility, test runs, deployments, and post deployment support
- Supports L2 Data Operations team and act as L3 support
- Manage data storage, computing unit requirements, and data security within the data warehouse
- Gather data requirements coming from Tribe demands
- Supports other data engineers on other Tribes or domains if necessary
- Demonstrate technical excellence when it comes to the data warehouse platform
- Supports stakeholders of the data warehouse platform by solving data related issues and conducting data investigations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information management, or a related field.
- Strong SQL and ETL development experience, preferably related to Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, or other Data Delivery projects.
- Proficiency in optimizing data pipelines in order to meet SLA requirements and save cost
- Experience in Big Data, Hadoop, EMR, Hive, and cloud environments is a plus
- Proficiency in Python, R, Java, Scala is a plus
- Proficiency in data modeling, data integrations, data quality, and data architecture is a plus
- AWS data integrations (Glue, Athena)

Job Summary
As a Data Quality Analyst you will be responsible for analyzing data, implementing automation processes, and leveraging your knowledge of Angular technologies to enhance data analysis and reporting capabilities. You will play a crucial role in optimizing data workflows, streamlining data-driven processes, and contributing to data-driven decision-making .
Responsibilities and Duties
- Create detailed test cases that match business requirements to ensure data quality.
- Perform data quality checking for ad-hoc data extraction.
- Ability to test in a timely manner that meets SLA.
- Communicate with Data analyst and Project Management officer to gather and analyze requirements for test case creation.
- Support data analyst in peer reviewing data output before user’s acceptance (UAT).
- Maintain QA documentation/artifacts for future testing purposes.
- Perform data testing of outputs made by data analysts to ensure quality using SQL.
- Ability to work cohesively in a team type environment.
- Attend daily stand-ups for team updates and work progress
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in Quality Assurance (qa testing, terminologies, methodologies, concepts)
- Experience working with SQL required
- Experience in Google Data Studio, Google Sheets, Excel required
- Experience in Google BigQuery, Tableau, Power BI, Metabase, DaaS preferred
- Experience in Hadoop or Big Data technologies preferred Experience in JIRA and Confluence preferred
