Role Summary
KINESSO is currently seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Senior Data Engineer to fill an immediate need. This individual will work with the technical team and internal clients to understand and analyze requirements to build and support data initiatives. The candidate will have experience designing and developing highly scalable data solutions with a strong understanding of the Data Engineering operating environments. This role requires an individual who has a passion for technology and media and is looking to apply this to further their experience in real-world business scenarios.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science
- 5-7 years of progressive software engineering experience
- 5+ years of experience with Python, JavaScript and SQL
- 5+ years of experience with AWS cloud ecosystem
- 5+ years of experience with any MPP database technology
- 3+ years of experience with big data processing frameworks
- Experience with agile methodologies is highly desirable
- Experience in the modern data stack is highly desirable:
- Warehouse/Lakehouse: Snowflake, Databricks, AWS Redshift
- Orchestration/Pipelines: Airflow, Dagster, Kestra
- Transformation/Modelling: DBT, Star Schema, Data Vault
- Observability/Analytics: DataDog, Tableau, AWS QuickSight

The Role: The Executive Supply Chain Consultant serves as a supply chain and implementation specialist, guiding SaaS clients through the full lifecycle of onboarding and adoption. This role is responsible for delivering training, managing User Acceptance Testing (UAT), executing go-lives, providing HyperCare support, and documenting lessons learned to drive continuous improvement in both implementation methodology and the SaaS product.
- Work closely with the Solution/Development team to understand client business requirements and map them to SaaS product capabilities.
- Ensure Solution Design Documents (SDDs) comply with client specifications while leveraging out‑of‑the‑box functionality and industry best practices.
- Simplify complex requirements into clear, actionable components.
- Advise clients on supply chain best practices aligned with SaaS workflows (e.g., inventory management, order fulfilment, marketplace operations).
- Maintain accurate implementation documentation within company-shared folders or platforms.
- Proactively identify gaps between client needs and product capabilities, documenting enhancement requests for the product team.
- Develop and maintain training materials provided by the product team, including user guides, quick‑reference documents, and e‑learning modules tailored to various user personas (warehouse staff, planners, logistics coordinators, super users).
- Conduct virtual or on‑site end‑user and super‑user training sessions to ensure user proficiency before go‑live.
- Deliver “Train the Trainer” programs to enable client internal knowledge transfer.

Responsibilities
Performance Management
- Manage overall account profitability via P&L management

- Ensuring optimal product presentation and visibility on online channels

- Develop strategic direction and plans for the company with regards to all commercial functions in assigned category

Team Management
- Managing a team of 4+ Senior Account Managers

Qualifications
Technical Qualifications
- Very strong commercial & client-facing skills and can converse effectively in English
- Advanced MS Excel skills (e.g. Min. Pivot Table, VLookup, etc.) and MS PowerPoint
Soft Skills and Other details
- 5+ years working experience in an ecommerce company, FMCG, Beauty, Tabaco, Internet start-up in retail, International Brand or account management roles is an advantage
- Has experience in managing a team with 3-4 subordinates
