We’re looking for a Fullstack Engineer to help develop and scale the Lightning AI platform across the frontend, CLI, APIs, and core backend systems. ABOUT THE JOB
We are seeking a hardcore Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (SEIT) Engineer to own the execution and reality-check of our true System of Systems (SoS) architecture. If our “Left-Side” Systems Engineers are the architects, you are the Chief Engineer of Reality. You own the entire Systems V for a given problem set, but your anchor is firmly planted on the "Right Side." You are not a compliance checker, a QA tester, or someone who lives entirely in spreadsheets or JAMA. You are the forcing function that brings disjointed software, hardware, and autonomy subsystems together into a singular, field-ready, system of systems capability.
Your mission is to build a "steel thread" for any given capability, the fastest path to getting a baseline, end-to-end system working in the real world, ensure it is validated for the customer’s use case, and then relentlessly iterate to make it robust. You will partner tightly with TPMs, Software Engineers (SWEs), and "Left-Side" SEs to take paper architectures and smash them into rigorous mathematical and physical reality. When the software team blames the hardware team, you are the one who steps into the SITL/HITL lab or the field, parses the logs, puts a scope on the wire, diagnoses the root cause, and drives the solution. If you thrive in high-velocity, hardware-rich environments where the ultimate metric is "execution," this is the job for you.

We are looking for a Trading Systems Engineer, to join our Cumberland team. In this role you’ll have an opportunity to employ your extensive skills while helping solve complex technical problems. You’ll work closely with trading, infrastructure and software development teams to provide smooth support for our technology. We’re looking for a Software Engineer II (Android) to join our fast-growing mobile team. This role is open to candidates based within a commutable distance (generally within 1–2 hours) of one of our office hubs in Oxford or London. The Team
As a Front-end Engineer at Standard Notes, you will play a crucial role in evolving our platform into the leading secure note-taking, knowledge management, and productivity solution. The Standard Notes team is focused on building a comprehensive suite of tools to help users manage their knowledge and boost productivity while maintaining the highest standards of security and privacy. Recent efforts include advancing editor capabilities, improving data organization features, and optimizing cross-platform sync. You’ll work on architecting features such as encrypted search, tagging systems, advanced note formatting, and seamless integrations—all built with React and TypeScript and secured with end-to-end encryption.

The Team
Our business unit, Inbox, is a cross-functional team of about 60 engineers, product managers, designers and data analysts driving the development of Proton Mail, the company’s flagship product, and Proton Calendar. Our mission is to create an end-to-end encrypted solution with a better user experience than any other productivity products on the market. The Inbox Desktop team is responsible for developing desktop clients of Inbox, specifically the Proton Mail Desktop App, Proton Mail Bridge, and the Export tool. We are in the process of rebuilding our client applications on a new, innovative technology stack centred around cross-platform Rust code. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to take the technical ownership of the Proton Mail Desktop App on Windows and Linux platforms.
Currently, we use many languages and frameworks in the team like Golang, C++, Qt, JS, TypeScript, React, or Electron. We use standard tools for communication and work organization (Git, GitLab, GitHub, GitLab CI, Jira, Confluence). Our backend runs on premise in Proton’s data centers, and all our client-code is open source and GPL3.

As a Senior Software Engineer in the Inbox Desktop team, you will play a crucial role in driving the development of one of Proton's most vital desktop offerings, the Proton Mail Desktop App. We expect you to be customer-centric, continuous learner, passionate about technology and usability. Our business unit, Inbox, is a cross-functional team of about 60 engineers, product managers, designers and data analysts driving the development of Proton Mail, the company’s flagship product, and Proton Calendar. What You’ll Be Doing
We're looking for an Engineering Team Lead to lead one of our product engineering teams at Capital on Tap a profitable, FCA-regulated fintech helping small businesses access credit and financial tools that actually work for them.
This is a people-first leadership role. You'll be responsible for the growth, wellbeing, and performance of a team of engineers, while staying technically credible enough to shape direction, remove blockers, and raise the bar on quality. You won't be the best coder in the room you'll be the person who makes the whole room better.
If you're a senior engineer ready to step fully into leadership, or an experienced engineering manager looking to own a team in a scaling fintech, this role is built for you.
Your team. Hiring, developing, and retaining engineers. Running 1:1s that actually matter. Spotting who's ready to grow and creating the space for them to do it.
Delivery. Partnering with Product and QA to plan and ship reliably not by micromanaging, but by removing obstacles, managing risk, and keeping the team focused on what matters.
Culture. Setting the tone for how the team communicates, gives feedback, and holds itself accountable. Building psychological safety without sacrificing standards.
Technical credibility. You won't be heads-down in the codebase every day, but you'll understand the trade-offs your team is navigating architecture decisions, technical debt, build vs buy and contribute meaningfully to those conversations.
Leadership first. You've managed engineers before and have a point of view on what good looks like. You know how to have hard conversations, give developmental feedback, and motivate people through uncertainty.
Technical foundation in .NET. Our backend is C#/.NET Core and you'll need enough depth to earn trust with your engineers, review decisions, and spot risks. You don't need to be across every layer of the stack you need to be honest about what you know and curious about what you don't.
Product mindset. You think about engineering in the context of business outcomes, not just technical correctness. You can push back on scope, advocate for quality, and translate between engineering and non-technical stakeholders.
Comfort with ambiguity. Capital on Tap is growing. Priorities shift. We want someone who creates clarity for their team rather than waiting for it.

We divide our time between manual and automated testing. We run our automated frameworks in Ruby, using Cypress for the UI tests, with some legacy tests in Selenium webdriver. We primarily do our work on Macbooks with a local Docker environment.
