About the Data Solutions Team
The Data Solution pod is the technical unit within Innovation responsible for leveraging Teads'publisher integrations and network scale to provide targeting solutions and measurable business outcomes. We build the infrastructure that unifies fragmented signals from the "Open Internet" into actionable data about the customer journey for our SSPs and internal Buying Engines.
The team is a senior-heavy center of expertise handling high-scale production delivery across three strategic pillars:
- Identity: The foundation linking user journeys across Mobile, Desktop, and CTV.
- Measurement: The full-stack engine proving outcomes (Attention, Sales Uplift, Brand uplift).
- Targeting: The segmentation and planning system for audience activation in a cross screen environment and cross buying engines.
What will you do?
As a Data Engineer, you will be the backbone of our data infrastructure. Your mission is to build, scale, and maintain the high-performance pipelines that power our entire product ecosystem. You will move away from simple reporting to focus on system reliability, scalability, and real-time processing.
- Architecture & Scalability: Design and scale the data pipelines responsible for building our Identity Graph, ensuring they can handle massive volumes with low latency.
- Backend Development: Build robust services and data processors using Scala and Go.
- Real-time Streaming: Architect and manage event-driven streams using Kafka to ensure seamless data flow across our systems.
- Data Modeling & Storage: Optimize our BigQuery environment and ensure that our storage strategy aligns with high-performance backend requirements.
- System Reliability: Implement rigorous testing and monitoring to ensure the "industrial-grade" quality of our data flows.
What will you bring to the team?
- Experience: Strong experience in Backend Engineering or Data Engineering, with a proven track record of deploying production-grade pipelines.
- Technical Stack:
- Strong mastery of one programing language , scala or go would be a plus
- Hands on experience with Kafka, Redpanda, Aerospike, C* or any big data production ready component
- Deep understanding of SQL and cloud data warehouses like BigQuery.
- Engineering Mindset: You are obsessed with performance, code quality (CI/CD), and system architecture.
- Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems and optimize data bottlenecks.
- Collaboration: Even if you are tech-heavy, you are an active listener and a dialogue facilitator. You know how to explain your architectural decisions and enjoy sharing your technical knowledge with the team.

Our main Engineering challenges at Teads
- Working in a very high-traffic environment (2.2 billion users per month, 100 billion events per day) with low latency and high availability constraints (2 million requests per second, responses in less than 150 milliseconds).
- Rich and diverse tech stack and system architecture to optimize for performance, scalability, resiliency, and cost efficiency. We use mostly Java, Scala, Golang, Python, and TypeScript, among others.
- Management of large datasets with milliseconds order of magnitude access time, to compute in a near real-time complex auction resolution algorithm (18 million predictions per second).
- Build efficient and easy-to-use web products used by thousands of users working for the world's most premium publishers, advertisers, and agencies.
- A fast-changing environment where we continuously collaborate with Product teams and constantly adapt our Cloud infrastructure for new features and Products.
- Bring a wide diversity of profiles to the same level of quality and knowledge.
Our Infrastructure Team
Running on major cloud providers (namely AWS, Azure, and GCP) as well as on-premise data centers, we are a growing team intentionally composed of diverse skills sets (development obviously, but also data store, software reliability, operational automation, etc.) which aims at delivering a first-class platform for our product development teams. We embrace Reliability Engineering, toil is our enemy while automation at scale is our main ally.
What will you do?
As part of the Runtime Platform team, you’ll be at the heart of our distributed systems, architecting the backbone of our container orchestration and real-time data streaming. You’ll focus on hardening our Kubernetes clusters and Kafka infrastructure to ensure our microservices dance in harmony. Your mission is to abstract away the complexity of the underlying infrastructure, providing a seamless “paved road” for developers to deploy and scale their applications with confidence. You’ll obsess over low latency, high throughput, and rock-solid resilience. If you enjoy fine-tuning resource limits or optimizing message durability while sharing your expertise with the wider engineering community, you’ll fit right in.
What will you bring to the team?

- BS in Software Engineering (or extensive experience equivalent to).
- Good programming abilities.
- Extensive experience building and running workloads in public clouds (AWS, Azure, or both)
- Strong working knowledge of and experience in IaC technologies, like Terraform.
- Strong commitment to quality designs, automation, and documentation.
- Pride in ownership, initiative and collaboration.
- Eager to learn, discover and become proficient in new tools and languages.
- Effective communicator; you love to solve problems and are creative in your work.
- You embrace change and are enthusiastic to learn in order to bring projects to proper completion.
