Job Title: Biomedical Scientist - Immunology
Banding: Band 5

Rate: £18 - £23 per hour
Working hours: Full-time
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Biomedical Scientist specialising in Immunology to join our esteemed client in Leeds. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team in a dynamic laboratory environment.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting a broad spectrum of immunology tests, maintaining, calibrating, and troubleshooting laboratory equipment, and ensuring strict adherence to all relevant health and safety regulations. You will analyse and interpret complex test results with a high degree of accuracy, maintain meticulous records and documentation, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver superior patient care.

Working Pattern: Core hours only, 30-37.5 hours a week
Hourly Rate: £20-27 Umbrella
We are currently seeking a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist specialising in Biochemistry to join our client’s team in Leeds. This is a full-time, ongoing position working core hours only, offering a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to contribute to a busy and well-established laboratory service.
You will perform biochemical analyses including routine chemistry, endocrinology, and toxicology using automated platforms. You will ensure accurate results and maintain quality standards.
- HCPC registration
- Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent
- Experience in Biochemistry/Immunology within a clinical laboratory or Newborn Screening
- Experience with automated chemistry analysers and Tandem Mass-Spectrometry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- NHS experience (preferred)
