Reporting to the Director of People Operations, Reward and People Partnering, we are seeking an experienced People Operations Manager to join us and hit the ground running! You will oversee our core people operations team based in Riga and Lisbon, focusing on employee lifecycle processes, data, compliance and internal mobility & immigration. You will play a pivotal role in enabling our HR operating model which centres around people partnering, ensuring seamless employee experiences, operational excellence, and strategic HR delivery across our global locations. This is an opportunity to bring fresh thinking to how we operate and partner closely with our People Partners, Finance, Talent Acquisition and wider HR team to ensure we drive excellence across the People function.

• Team Leadership: You will lead and manage the People Operations team based in Latvia and Portugal, building an inclusive high-performance team that puts the employee experience at the centre of everything.
• Documentation & Governance: You will ensure documentation is in place for all People Operations processes and changes, driving continuous improvement across internal workflows to ensure they are scalable, efficient and support positive employee experiences.

Base salary range: € 3300- € 5000 (gross).

JOB SCOPE

• Oversee the profitable growth of retention channels, including but not limited to email, sms, direct mail, popups and push notifications. Where required, you may work within subscription, membership, loyalty programs and more.
• This will not be a client-facing role. You will work closely with a Client Success Manager who will be the main strategist for your accounts.You will be the expert within the email and SMS program, executing and drawing all the relevant insights for the Client Success Manager to present to the client.
• Work in a pod, comprising a Client Success Manager, a Copywriter, a Designer and yourself.
• Collaborate with the Client Success Manager, Growth Strategists and Media Buyers to ensure the retention team meets all forecasts; including but not limited to Returning Revenue, Email/SMS Revenue, Direct Mail Revenue and other pre-agreed KPIs set between CTC and the client.
• Be accountable for performance of up to 10 clients. Some of these brands will be the biggest and most notable logos you’ll work on in your life.
• Complete reports with a high degree of accuracy, checking against multiple data points.
• Analyse metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of retention efforts, providing insights and recommendations for improvements, with Statlas and the Growth Map as your guide.
• Ensure the timely delivery of relevant deliverables (emails, sms etc), which includes effective internal project management and management of clients and their teams.
• Stay updated with industry trends, new features, and best practices in retention marketing to continuously optimize performance.

JOB SCOPE

• Oversee the profitable growth of retention channels, including but not limited to email, sms, direct mail, popups and push notifications. Where required, you may work within subscription, membership, loyalty programs and more.
• Work closely with Growth Strategists and Media Buyers to ensure the retention team meets all forecasts; including but not limited to Returning Revenue, Email/SMS Revenue, Direct Mail Revenue and other pre-agreed KPIs set between CTC and the client.
• Lead a pod, comprising an Email Operator, a Copywriter and a Designer.
• Be accountable for performance of anywhere between 20-30 clients on a very high level, working with multiple Email Operators, who will each be responsible for up to 10 clients. Some of these brands will be the biggest and most notable logos you’ll work on in your life.
• Your main role is to get on calls and present strategy to clients to help them solve problems. Then delegate all tasks to Email Operators to execute.
• You are the decision maker in this. Based on insights gathered by the Email Operator, you define what needs to happen next. Then delegate to the team to execute, and consult clients.
• Where required, train and equip Email Operators to improve in performance within the larger Retention Marketing ecosystem.
• Present reports with a high degree of accuracy, checking against multiple data points.
• Analyse metrics and KPIs put together by the Email Operator, to measure the effectiveness of retention efforts, providing insights and recommendations for improvements, with Statlas and the Growth Map as your guide.
• Ensure the timely delivery of relevant deliverables (emails, sms etc), which includes effective internal project management and management of clients and their teams.
• Stay updated with industry trends, new features, and best practices in retention marketing to continuously optimize performance.
• This is a client-facing role. So you must be able to consult clients and solve business problems, far beyond the email platform.

WORKING HOURS

• Since this is a client-facing role, and the majority of our clients are in the US, you will be required to operate with at least 5h timezone coverage in the US (EST and PST). Beyond that required coverage window, your schedule is flexible.

• $6,000-$8,000 a month

• First 30 days – $3K (Part-time transition phase)

  Days 31–60 – $4.5K (Full-time start)

  • Transition to full-time

  Days 61–90 – $6–8K + performance bonuses

  • Continue growing your portfolio

  • Earn bonuses based on hitting revenue targets

This will depend on the amount of clients and the quality of work.

Base salary range: €64,000 - €96,000

Base salary ranges are based on role, job level, location, and market data.  Please note that whilst we strive to offer competitive compensation, our approach is to pay between the minimum and the mid-point of the pay range until performance can be assessed in role.
