The Enterprise  New Business Account Executive Opportunity

As a New Business Account Executive focused on new customer acquisition, you will play a crucial role in expanding Okta’s market presence and driving growth. You will be responsible for identifying and engaging potential clients, effectively communicating the value of our identity and access management software solutions, and closing new business deals.

Okta’s Enterprise Sales Team manages the sales process for medium-sized customers. The team organizes and conducts sales presentations, site visits and product demonstrations to prospects and represents Okta in a consistent, effective and professional manner to best develop and win new clients and current customers.

*This role requires in-person onboarding and travel to our San Francisco, CA HQ office during the first week of employment.

What you’ll be doing:

• Engage with leads shared by marketing to understand new customer demands, and work with solution engineers to design relevant solutions
• Proactively drive your own top of funnel activity through Calls, Inmails, events, networking and other creative avenues always ensuring you have enough pipeline to hit your number.
• Generate self-sourced opportunities as well as partnering with Marketing,SDRs and Partners to win new logos. 
• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to achieve and exceed sales targets
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers
• Develop and execute against an assigned quota and territory plan focusing purely on bringing in new customers
• Facilitate customer onboarding to new products sold and process sales orders
• Maintain new customer relationships until account is handed over to Customer Account Executive Team 
• Maintain database of potential customers/opportunities to pursue
• Reporting on sales achievement and forecasts

What you’ll bring to the role:

• 3+ years of experience selling to net new customers in a SaaS/Cloud B2B environment
• Proven track record acquiring new customers, including prospecting and identifying opportunities for growth (new logo focus)
• Experience using a sales framework such as MEDDICC, Challenger or Sandler (we use MEDDPICC)
• An understanding of selling in partnership with the channel ecosystem.
• Demonstrated experience in collaborating effectively within the GTM ecosystem, including but not limited to:  AEs, xDRs, SEs, RMs, CSMs, Partners
• Prior experience managing a territory based quota
• Confident presentation skills with the ability to run demos to C-level executives (decision makers)
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Travel to customer sites at least once per month
• Other travel as needed for company events and team offsites

Preferred experience in any of the following:

• 7+ years demonstrated success selling to mid-sized and/or enterprise customers
• IT/Security sales experience

The Senior Estimator supports the bidding process by development and preparation of cost estimates for projects or services as assigned. This role follows the standardized procedures, methods, and processes for estimating that have been established. Coordinates overall estimates and proposals in conjunction with the assigned capture-team and present periodic and final submittals to the regional manager and other corporate representatives as required for review and input. Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Work with an assigned capture team to identify and develop solutions and estimate the resources required for both simple and complex projects.
• Prepare detailed and organized cost estimates using HCSS software and assist with other submittal documents (including schedules, diagrams, work plans, figures, etc.) for proposals that require additional information as part of the bidding process.
• Assess and communicate project risks based on a thorough knowledge of proposal documents.
• Coordinates the preparation of quantity takeoffs from project plans and documents with help from the capture team.

• Thoroughly understand drawings and specifications and review with capture team and identify areas of concern that may require additional clarification prior to the bid date.
• Understand how equipment and labor rates are developed and applied accurately to estimates.

• Coordinate with capture team to obtain multiple competitive quotes for materials and subcontracted services.
• Prepare ‘high-level’ proposal schedules utilizing critical-path scheduling software.
• Help to maintain updated database of cost information (historical cost analysis of labor and equipment rates).
• Attend pre-bid walks (preconstruction meetings) as needed and utilize comprehensive industry experience to determine the technical needs of the project based upon site restrictions.
• Assemble bid-files (including all development information) that were utilized in preparation of the estimates.
• Create professional relationships and uphold our reputation with our clients and partners by interfacing effectively with owner/client, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Meet deadlines and put in the time needed to complete bids, estimates and related tasks.
• Provide mentorship to estimating staff and interns.
• Perform additional assignments as directed.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent experience.
• Eight (8+) years of estimating experience in heavy-civil preferred or similar industries (geotechnical and/or environmental remediation fields).
• Scheduling software experience (Primavera/MS Project) is required.
• Estimating software experience (Bid2Win/B2W, HCSS, or similar) is required.
• Quantity takeoff software experience (Agtek/AutoCAD).
• Skilled in project management and analytical thinking, with strong construction engineering knowledge.
• Motivated, safety-focused, and committed to excellence, ethics, and integrity.
• Strong organizational, time management, and attention to detail, with ability to meet goals independently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with proactive and creative decision-making.
• Collaborative team player, responsive to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to drive on behalf of company business.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience estimating on >$2 Mil projects is preferred.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

This office-based role requires frequent computer use and effective communication, with occasional travel to project sites as needed. Compensation - At Human Interest, we consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate pay range for each position, including the cost of labor in different markets across the U.S. The total On Target Earnings (OTE) for the role described in this job posting is $135,000 - $140,000 which includes a base salary of $70,000, and a variable target compensation of $70,000. We are looking for a versatile "generalist" responsible for serving as the operational backbone of our growing team. Core Responsibilities

• Administrative Support for General Team & Executives: Manage calendars, coordinate travel and team events, and prepare materials for internal and external meetings and presentations. Support daily logistics across departments and support deliverables to B-to-B channel partners and clients.
• Office Management: Ensure office operations run smoothly including the physical office needs such as supplies and equipment as well as ensuring team members have the resources needed to be successful. 
• Operational Support - Finance & Accounting: Assist with budgeting, purchase orders, expense tracking and reporting, and managing relationships with vendors and service providers to include support for customer and partner billing, invoicing, and collections.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1–3 years in an operations, project management, customer service, administrative or analytical role, preferably within a startup or fast-paced environment.

Basic Qualifications

• Candidates must be working towards a BS degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to drive on behalf of company business.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
• Experience with Primavera P6 scheduling software.
• Experience with Microsoft Project scheduling software.
• Experience with USACE QCS System.
• Experience with site surveying, both conventional and GPS.
• Assisting with the development of cost estimates and proposals.
• Prior project experience with In-Situ Stabilization.
• Prior experience with materials procurement and purchasing.

Key Responsibilities

Here’s what you need to be successful

Minimum Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent educational achievement
• Height Minimum - must be able to reach and remove emergency equipment from overhead bins without assistance
• Height Maximum – must be able to have adequate head clearance in the cabin
• Ability to sit and buckle into the E190 and A220 Flight Attendant jumpseat seatbelt harness and lap belt
• Neat, well-groomed, and capable of making a positive impression
• Must be service-oriented
• Adhere to highest possible hygiene standard as outlined by the CDC
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language; may be required to communicate safety instructions to Guests who may not speak English
