Your Role
We're seeking an experienced, automation-focused Quality Assurance Engineer II to join our Mobile team to help us deliver high-quality products. This team develops specialized mobile applications designed to manage and control the Hudl smart camera systems. It allows coaches and administrators to automate the recording and uploading of sports videos for indoor and outdoor venues without needing a dedicated camera operator. Your primary mission will be to be the testing expert within your cross-functional squad, ensuring the delivered product meets the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance. You will actively guide technical testing discussions and challenge the team to maintain high standards.
In this position, you’ll:
- Own testing. Lead the squad's testing efforts, using your customer and system understanding to ensure our products meet and exceed user expectations.
- Automate. By aligning our processes with development speed, you’ll make informed decisions on what, how, and when to automate.
- Collaborate. You’ll be an integral part of a cross-functional team, working closely with coworkers across Engineering, Product, Design, and Scrum, all to ensure the delivery of high-quality products.
Location
We’re looking to hire near our offices in Omaha and Lincoln, Nebraska, but we’ll consider remote candidates in Kansas City, Chicago, Boston, Austin or Dallas.
Must-Haves
- Experienced. You have 2+ years of software testing experience and a strong understanding of the product life cycle.
- Technically proficient. You have hands-on experience with iOS and Android mobile app automation and approach testing with a strong customer and user-experience focus.
- A natural problem solver. You think outside the box to find creative ways to break software and can navigate shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-Haves
- Contract Testing Exposure Familiarity with the concepts of contract testing, with exposure to common tools (e.g., Pact), particularly for validating API and backend service compatibility.
- AI Tool Exposure. Curiosity and exposure to leveraging AI tools (such as LLMs, specialized coding assistants, or test data generators) to increase efficiency in documentation, test case creation, or initial failure diagnosis.

The base salary range for this role is displayed below—starting salaries will typically fall near the middle of this range.

Position Overview
Woolpert is hiring a Site Civil Engineer to join our dynamic Energy Services Team. This position is responsible for supporting civil site projects, typically including grading and earthwork, site access, erosion control, stormwater management, and other documentation to support the client's permitting and construction efforts. Priority will be given to candidates who are interested in civil site projects.

What You Will Do:
- You will assist with plan production, perform and review design calculations, drive quality assurance, and support the internal and external project team on a variety of site/civil land development engineering projects.
- Project elements typically include grading and earthwork, site access, erosion control, stormwater management, and other documentation to support the client’s permitting and construction efforts.
- Work will vary from project to project, so our engineers are exposed to a number of different practices which allow them to not only become well rounded, but also to find a specialty they have interest in.
- This Team is expanding with additional expansion expected over the next few years. This allows for lots of potential for upward mobility once experience has been gained.
What You Will Bring:
- BS in Civil Engineering
- 6+ years of experience
- Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.)
- Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D (strongly preferred) or MicroStation. Exposure to Autodesk Vehicle Tracking, Bluebeam, HydroCAD, Microsoft Suite, and other relevant software products a plus.
- Ability and willingness to learn and work collaboratively in a team environment, across multiple teams and disciplines.

Structural Bridge Technical Manager
We are seeking a Structural Bridge Technical Manager with deep expertise in structural engineering and bridge design. This role focuses on technical leadership and delivery of high-quality structural design projects, serving as a subject matter expert for our bridge team. You will be instrumental in guiding design methods, setting technical standards, and ensuring projects are executed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable codes and client requirements. While this position includes supporting non-technical aspects of project delivery, the primary emphasis is on structural design excellence, technical guidance, and engineering problem-solving.
Location
We are open to candidates located in Kansas or Missouri. Our Kansas Division includes offices in Kansas City, KS; Topeka, KS; Wichita, KS; Manhattan, KS; Lenexa, KS; and Kansas City, MO. Impact You Will Have
As a Structural Bridge Technical Manager, your core responsibilities will include:
Technical Design Leadership & Delivery
- Lead and perform structural design and analysis for bridge and transportation projects, ensuring compliance with design criteria, codes, and standards.
- Develop and review technical work products including calculations, design documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Coordinate structural design elements with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
- Establish and promote engineering best practices, innovative solutions, and quality control procedures across projects.
Technical Guidance & Mentorship
- Serve as a subject matter expert on bridge design methodologies, analysis approaches, and technical decision-making.

What We Are Looking For
- B.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering (M.S. preferred).
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Kansas and/or Missouri (or ability to obtain reciprocity).
- 8+ years of bridge structural engineering experience, with emphasis on design, analysis, and technical delivery (experience on KDOT or MoDOT projects preferred).
- Strong proficiency with structural design and analysis software (e.g., AASHTO LRFD tools, modeling platforms, drafting environments).
- Experience with bridge inspection and load rating is an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain technical quality within project schedules and budgets.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel to project sites and client meetings as necessary.

Today, nearly 200 people around the globe work on Speechify in a 100% distributed setting – Speechify has no office. These include frontend and backend engineers, AI research scientists, and others from Amazon, Microsoft, and Google, leading PhD programs like Stanford, high growth startups like Stripe, Vercel, Bolt, and many founders of their own companies
- Lead the design, architecture, and development of native Windows desktop applications using Windows App SDK, WinUI (or related UI frameworks), C#, XAML, and — when needed — C++.
- Define and enforce best-practices for Windows desktop development across the codebase: code architecture, performance, memory usage, responsive UI, cross-version compatibility (Windows 10/11+), and maintainability.
- Drive accessibility efforts: integrate and validate support for accessibility APIs (e.g. Microsoft UI Automation or other relevant Windows accessibility frameworks), ensure UI controls, focus management, keyboard navigation, screen-reader support, and usability for users with disabilities.
- Collaborate closely with product designers, UX researchers, QA, and other stakeholders to shape feature planning, UI/UX architecture, and long-term roadmap for the Windows platform.
- Take ownership of full lifecycle of features: conception → design → implementation → testing → release → maintenance. Ensure quality, reliability, and consistency across releases.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve complex bugs, performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, rendering issues, or compatibility problems — and propose robust architectural or design solutions.
Required:
- 3+ in Windows desktop application development using Windows App SDK, WinUI (or similar), C#, XAML — and ideally additional experience with native Windows code (C++, Win32/WinRT/COM).
- Deep understanding of Windows application architecture, including interop between managed code (.NET) and native code.
- Proven track record of designing, building, and shipping production-quality desktop applications, with an emphasis on reliability, performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Strong experience with accessibility APIs on Windows (e.g. Microsoft UI Automation or similar), and a dedication to building accessible and inclusive software.
- Excellent software engineering fundamentals: OOP, design patterns, data structures, algorithms, memory management, multi-threading or asynchronous programming (where relevant).
- Experience leading technical design, mentoring other engineers, conducting code reviews, and making architecture-level decisions.
- Strong communication skills; ability to articulate tradeoffs, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive consensus.
- A user-centric mindset: focus on building polished, intuitive, and accessible experiences for end users.
Preferred / Bonus:
- Experience with writing automated tests for UI — unit tests, integration tests, UI automation tests; familiarity with relevant testing frameworks.

Overview
With the growth of our Android app, being the most used text-to-speech app in the Play Store, we find the need for a Senior Android Engineer to help us support the new user base as well as work on new and exciting projects to push us forward.
This is a key role and ideal for someone who thinks strategically, enjoys fast-paced environments, passionate about making product decisions, and has experience building great user experiences that delight users.
We are a flat organization that allows anyone to become a leader by showing excellent technical skills and delivering results consistently and fast. Work ethic, solid communication skills, and obsession with winning are paramount.
Our interview process involves several technical interviews and we aim to complete them within 1 week.
What You’ll Do
- Owning major features and working closely with our design team - take ownership of features inside the app and become responsible of delivering high quality features
- Shape the future of our Android team
- Own, maintain and improve reliability metrics for key features
- Participate in discussions across different teams - Product, Design, Engineering
- Review pull requests, and support other teammates
- Handle critical issues or cope with unexpected challenges
- Take ownership of feature releases and provide nightly builds for the QA team
An Ideal Candidate Should Have
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Familiarity with Android components
- Experience building or contributing to at least one Android app
- Product design intuition and user empathy
- Drive to push the boundaries of Android UI/UX
- Understanding of the importance of tests and how to approach writing tests
- Self-drive to improve the app and codebase above and beyond what's outlined in the spec
- Rock solid experience with Kotlin, Kotlin Coroutines, Kotlin Flow, Dagger 2, MVVM, Clean Architecture, Background Services, Music Player Service, Android Animations, Jetpack Navigation, JUnit tests
- Excellent communication skills
- User oriented problem solving approach
- Driven with continuous feedback from leaders
Bonus:
- Experience building, maintaining, or otherwise contributing to open source projects in Android
- Experience with iOS, Web or NodeJS
