About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Operations Manager to lead and scale operational activities for OKX in Turkey. This role will be responsible for ensuring efficient local operations, supporting regulatory and compliance alignment, and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless experience for users and partners.
This role sits at the intersection of operations, strategy, and cross-functional execution, supporting the continued growth of the Turkish market. As a senior individual contributor, the role requires strong ownership, sound judgment, and the ability to collaborate effectively with global and regional stakeholders.
What You’ll Be Doing
Operational Leadership

Oversee and optimize day-to-day operational activities for the Turkish market.

Develop and implement scalable operational processes to support growth and efficiency.

Monitor operational performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Support the successful launch and operational rollout of new products and services.

Partner onboarding and integration management (bank partnerships, KYC integrations, payment rails)

Lead go-to-market execution for new product launches in the Turkish market

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Act as a key operational bridge between local teams and global functions.

Partner closely with teams including Compliance, Risk, Product, Customer Support, Marketing, and Business Development.

Ensure smooth coordination across departments for operational initiatives and market expansion activities.

Serve as the primary operational liaison between local market needs and global Product & Engineering teams, translating regulatory and user requirements into actionable product feedback
Market & Competitive Intelligence

Conduct structured competitive analysis across local and regional peers (spread quality, liquidity depth, pair availability, UX benchmarking)

Produce executive-level problem reports and strategic briefs for senior stakeholders
Regulatory & Market Alignment

Work closely with internal compliance and legal teams to ensure operational processes align with Turkish regulatory requirements.

Monitor regulatory developments and help adapt operational practices accordingly.

Support regulatory readiness and internal policy implementation related to the Turkish market.
Process Optimization & Problem Solving

Identify operational bottlenecks and inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions.

Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for the region.

Lead operational initiatives that improve service quality, operational reliability, and user experience.
Stakeholder Management

Collaborate with regional and global leadership teams on strategic initiatives for Turkey.

Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Provide clear operational reporting, updates, and insights to senior leadership.
What We Look For In You
Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
-
6+ years of experience in operations, business management, strategy, or a similar role.
-
Experience working in crypto, fintech, financial services, or high-growth technology companies.
-
Strong understanding of the Turkish market and regulatory environment.
-
Proven ability to design and improve operational processes in fast-paced environments.
-
Excellent communication skills in English and Turkish (written and spoken).

Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
-
Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders across multiple teams.

Experience working directly with compliance, product, and engineering teams to deliver regulated product features
-
Demonstrated ability to structure and communicate complex operational or product gaps to executive audiences
Nice to Have

Experience working at a cryptocurrency exchange or Web3 company.

Familiarity with digital asset trading platforms, custody solutions, or blockchain-based products.

Experience working in regulated environments within fintech, trading, or payments.

Experience managing regional operational initiatives or supporting market expansion.

Strong data-driven mindset with experience using operational dashboards or analytics tools.

About The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly connected, crypto-native Web3 Growth Manager to join our Strategic Markets Team in Türkiye.
This is a hybrid role for a builder who sits at the intersection of Business Development and Community. You will be the operational mind behind OKX’s Web3 products in the region. Your mission is to drive on-chain adoption by acquiring and managing high-impact Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) while simultaneously nurturing a vibrant, educated community of Web3 users.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Drive Web3 Adoption: Assist in the Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy for OKX Web3 products in Turkey to increase wallet connections, DApp usage, and on-chain volume.

KOL Acquisition & BD: Identify, negotiate with, and onboard top-tier Web3 KOLs, influencers, and content creators in Turkey. Manage these relationships to ensure high-quality content output and advocacy.

Community Building: Build and energize the local Web3 community (Twitter and Telegram). Host spaces, AMAs, and online events to drive engagement and retention.

Education: Create or coordinate educational content that simplifies Web3 concepts (DeFi, bridging, staking) to lower the barrier to entry for new users.

Localization & Campaigns: Adapt global Web3 campaigns for the Turkish market and initiate local campaigns that resonate with the local DeFi/NFT culture.

Feedback Loop: Act as the bridge between Turkish users and the global product team; gather feedback to improve the OKX Wallet experience.
What We Look For In You
-
3-5 years of experience in Growth, Partnerships/BD, or Community Management, with at least 1–2 years specifically in the Web3/Crypto space.

Deep understanding of on-chain mechanics. You should be an active user of DeFi protocols and self-custody wallets.

Proven track record of working with crypto influencers or a strong existing network within the Turkish crypto ecosystem.

Proficient in data analysis; able to translate numbers into clear action items.
-
Able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment; taking ownership and moving projects forward.
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.

Resident of Turkiye.

Fluency in English and Turkish will be required as the role involves interacting with internal and external stakeholders based in Turkiye.
