About the Role

You will be working as a part of a distributed agile team, building a new SaaS platform that underpins a suite of enterprise applications solving a variety of hard data analytics and enterprise problems. You will be responsible for ensuring that the framework and products we develop meet the established design, implementation, and quality goals.  

What You’ll Do

• Be a part of a globally distributed team of backend engineers to design/develop/architect Securiti’s core backend platform
• Help create architecture documents, functional specifications, design documents, and developer test plans
• Coordinate end-to-end development, deployment, and testing of new features and enhancements in the product
• Write reliable, secure, performant, and scalable code
• Perform code reviews and analysis
• Monitor platform performance and be on-call to address any urgent issues
• Work with customer support and address customer issues
• Integrate new technologies into back-end cloud infrastructure

What You’ll Bring

• Minimum 7 years of experience developing software, with some experience using container technologies like Docker
• Experience in building highly available and scalable distributed systems for the cloud
• Strong conceptual understanding of multi-threaded applications
• Professional development experience in GoLang, Java, C++, or Python
• Good knowledge of Linux and bash scripting 
• Good software development practices: should thrive in an environment of rapid development, peer code reviews, and write good functional/unit tests
• Experience with microservices and REST-based HTTP/2 architectures
• Experience with SQL (Postgres) and NoSQL (Mongo/Elasticsearch) technologies 
• Knowledge and use of performance tuning, profiling, and software metrics tools
• Very strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Proven ability to utilize creative thinking to solve complex engineering problems
• Understanding of continuous integration tools, including Jenkins
• Experience with agile development methodologies is a must
• Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• High level of energy, teamwork, can-do attitude, and willingness to learn new technologies
• Working knowledge of networks and web concepts

Bonus Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure
• Experience with Containerisation technologies (Kubernetes, Docker) 
• Experience with tools like terraform, helm, docker
• Understanding of Network Services such as Load-Balancers, Security, QoS 
• Understanding of platform level concerns, such as configuration management, network request routing, blue/green or canary deployments, in-service software upgrade 
• Experience in building API based connectors to cloud-based SaaS services is a big plus

About the Role

• Develop and maintain a full stack SaaS application in the cloud environment
• Build, design, deploy, maintain the implementation of Cloud solutions across multiple public cloud offerings, e.g. AWS, Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure
• Participate in technology evaluation and reengineering teams to support strategy-definition and continuous process improvement activities
• Implement and refine cloud future state architectures and roadmaps including architecture standards, guidelines, and industry best practices.
• Perform ongoing performance tuning, upgrades, and resource optimization as required. Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required; maintain data center environmental and monitoring equipment.
• Participate in the design, implementation and management of workload automation initiatives

Overview

We're looking to hire for our Data side of our AI team at Speechify. This role is responsible for all aspects of data collection to support our model training operations. We are able to build high-quality datasets at petabyte-scale and low cost through a tight integration of infrastructure, engineering, and research work. We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join us.

What You’ll Do

• Be scrappy to find new sources of audio data and bring it into our ingestion pipeline
• Operate and extend the cloud infrastructure for our ingestion pipeline, currently running on GCP and managed with Terraform.
• Collaborate closely with our Scientists to shift the cost/throughput/quality frontier, delivering richer data at bigger scale and lower cost to power our next-generation models.
• Collaborate with others on the AI Team and Speechify Leadership to craft the AI Team’s dataset roadmap to power Speechify’s next-generation consumer and enterprise products.

An Ideal Candidate Should Have

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of industry experience in software development.
• Proficiency with bash/Python scripting in Linux environments
• Proficiency in Docker and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts and professional experience with at least one major Cloud Provider (we use GCP)
• Experience with web crawlers, large-scale data processing workflows is a plus

About the Role

We’re seeking a technically fluent Customer Engineer to join our Engineering organization and serve as a critical link between Engineering and Go-to-Market (GTM) teams, including Sales Engineering, Professional Services, and Enablement.

This role is embedded within the Development organization, and focuses on helping the GTM teams understand, configure, and support deployments of our Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) platform. While the role is not directly customer-facing, it requires a deep understanding of the product and underlying technologies to ensure field teams are well-supported during pre-sales and post-sales phases.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong technical foundation who wants to stay close to the technology, without being in a traditional coding role.

What You’ll Do

• Act as a technical liaison between the Engineering team and GTM teams (Sales Engineering, Professional Services, etc.), enabling them with the product knowledge, tooling, setup and deployment support they need.
• Work closely with Engineering to understand new features, deployment requirements, and system behaviors, and translate them into actionable documentation, enablement content, demo environments and tooling for internal teams.
• Assist in internal setup and deployment of DSPM components (Kubernetes-based microservices, data connectors, APIs), and help validate internal staging/demo environments.
• Help develop internal technical resources such as playbooks, integration guides, architecture diagrams, and field enablement materials.
• Support the Go-to-Market team with API usage, scripting (e.g., Python), and basic troubleshooting, particularly during proof-of-concept or pilot phases.
• Read, interpret, and sometimes modify basic code or configuration files to help debug issues or support integration efforts.
• Validate deployment workflows across cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and ensure alignment with field practices.

What You’ll Bring

• 3+ years of experience in a technical role within an engineering or product-focused organization (e.g., dev support, sales enablement, QA, technical consulting).
• Strong understanding of modern cloud-native stacks, including:
  - Kubernetes and containerized services
  - Cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure)
  - Data infrastructure (e.g., SQL, data lakes, data warehouses)
  
  
• Comfort with basic scripting in languages like Python or shell scripting for automating setup, working with APIs, or testing integrations.
• Ability to read and understand application code (e.g., Python, YAML, or JSON configurations) to support basic troubleshooting and deployment workflows.
• Strong communication skills and ability to synthesize technical concepts for internal enablement and cross-functional understanding.

Bonus Skills

• Familiarity with DSPM, CSPM, or adjacent data security and privacy tools
• Prior experience in Sales Engineering enablement, solution delivery, or product support roles.
