MongoDB's Application Modernization Platform (AMP) team aims to grow the adoption of MongoDB by accelerating the rate at which legacy applications built on RDBMS can be modernized to MongoDB. In this role you will…

• Co-own and drive Atlas cloud security initiatives such as control plane hardening, cloud security baselines, identity and access patterns, customer account protections, and data-plane protections for multi-tenant environments
• Perform and lead security reviews for Atlas features and platform changes in cloud environments, including architecture review, threat modeling, and targeted testing, with an emphasis on pragmatic, actionable guidance

Qualifications:

About the Role

Product Managers on the Atlas team work side-by-side with engineering, design, marketing, and analytics to build scalability capabilities that our users trust and that work for the business. Atlas Growth is a cloud engineering group whose mission is to guide customers through their app development journey—from cluster configuration, data modeling and load testing, to running a production workload at scale. We use an in-house experiments platform which helps us validate our features quickly, releasing only the work that positively impacts our customers. MongoDB is looking for an outstanding person to join our newly created Forward Deployed Engineering team and take on a key role in our extended R&D organization. Forward Deployed Engineering is linking the work of teams engaged on application modernization roles with our Product and Engineering teams.

Many organizations have built up large estates of legacy applications. Lack of scalability and resilience, long development times, operating cost, and inability to run on cloud are common issues with these applications. To address these issues, organizations are engaging in large transformational Application Modernisation programs. MongoDB is recognized as the developer data platform of choice for transactional systems that provide the best scalability, resiliency and developer experience in the cloud as well as on premises. Organizations are continuously migrating workloads from these legacy applications to new platforms, often based on microservices, using MongoDB.

Our ideal candidate will have

• 4+ years of experience as a field engineer or professional services consultant or full stack developer working directly with Enterprise clients 
• Proficiency in Java or C#, and some familiarity with common database access patterns and frameworks in one or more of these languages
• Strong knowledge about enterprise-scale software architectures, application development methodologies, and software deployment and operations
• Experience developing enterprise applications using relational databases, and employing SQL and stored procedures with Oracle, MS SQL Server, Sybase and/or PostgreSQL databases

Position Expectations

• Test drive MongoDB migration products to deliver on customer use cases and drive adoption of the product. Deliver concise feedback to the rest of the development organisation

Requirements:

• 6+ years of engineering experience, including meaningful time in SRE, platform engineering, production engineering, infrastructure engineering, or distributed systems roles.
• Experience operating distributed systems in production (e.g., streaming systems, analytical databases, large-scale storage backends). Examples of these include Kafka, Redpanda, WarpStream, Postgres, ClickHouse, Snowflake, or Cassandra.
• Strong Kubernetes experience in AWS, GCP, or Azure, and familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tooling (Helm, Terraform, Jsonnet, etc.).

As a Business Development Representative, your role is to seek out and engage “good fit” companies through strategic prospecting. To do this you will leverage HubSpot’s existing leads and generate new interest through calls, emails and social media messaging.

As a Mid-Market Account Executive at HubSpot you will be engaging directly with small to medium sized businesses, helping them to grow. You will use proactive and inbound selling strategies to find and close new business, and increase the customer's usage of the HubSpot platform over time. You will use your knowledge of digital transformation and change management to act as a trusted advisor and business consultant to the customer, running the sales process end to end with them.

Responsibilities of an Account Executive:

• Develop and be responsible for your own annual, quarterly and monthly territory business plan
• Find new prospects from both inbound and self-sourced leads 
• Run qualification calls with C-level executives and department leaders 
• Close both new business and install base at or above quota on a monthly cadence
• Sell through internal champions to multiple stakeholders, as well as directly to C -level 
• Work collaboratively with HubSpot's marketing and technology departments to evolve our sales strategy when new features and products are introduced 
• Run online and occasionally in person product demonstrations

Role requirements:

• 3-5 years in a quota carrying role
• Fluency in English and German
• Experience in a complex selling environment 
• Have presented and pitched to C-level executives on a business change
• Management of monthly and annual pipeline as well as proven accuracy in forecasting
• Goal orientated with track record of overachieving on monthly & annual targets
• Trained and/or certified in a standardised sales method (E.g. Sandler)
