About the Role
We’re looking for a Software Engineer for Cloud Data Warehouse database connector team and supporting other databases teams to drive improved performance, reliability, and analytical power for our platform to delight our customers in how they use their data.
This team is tasked with evolving a high performance extract-load-transform data integration system that enables our connector teams to ship the Fivetran ELT product using powerful abstractions. We are also looking for a high level of expertise and productivity with modern software development environments (we use Java).

About the role
We are seeking an accomplished Data Engineer to join our dynamic and rapidly expanding Tech Ops division. With significant projected growth, this is an opportunity to drive meaningful technical impact. In this role, you will work directly with customers, data vendors, and internal engineering teams to design, implement, and optimize complex data integration solutions within a modern, large‑scale cloud environment.
You will leverage advanced skills in distributed computing, data architecture, and cloud-native engineering to enable scalable, resilient, and high‑performance data ingestion and transformation pipelines. Job Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic GCP Data Engineer to join our dynamic and growing project team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills while contributing to large-scale data projects on Google Cloud Platform. You will work closely with senior engineers and data analysts to build and maintain robust data pipelines, helping to turn raw data into actionable insights. Key Responsibilities:
· Develop, test, and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using Python, SQL, and GCP services.

The Role

The Semantic Layer team owns the systems that turn dbt models into trusted, reusable business metrics. At the heart of this is MetricFlow — the open-source semantic engine that powers the dbt Semantic Layer. MetricFlow lets data teams define metrics once in code and consume them consistently across BI tools, notebooks, AI agents, and downstream applications.
This team is the steward of MetricFlow as an open-source project: shipping releases, reviewing community contributions, evolving the query compiler, and ensuring it integrates cleanly with the broader dbt ecosystem. You'll work at the intersection of language design, query compilation, and distributed data execution — solving problems that directly shape how thousands of organizations measure their business.
We're hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join the Semantic Layer team in Bangalore. You'll be a core contributor to MetricFlow — designing features, optimizing query generation, hardening the open-source codebase, and partnering with the community of contributors and adopters around it. This is a high-ownership role: you'll write production code, drive technical decisions, and help shape the long-term architecture of one of the most important projects in the modern data stack.
