Our Enterprise New Business team plays a critical role in shaping how we show up to prospective clients—bringing clarity, creativity, and polish to high‑stakes pitches and growth opportunities.
The Role
We are looking for a Freelance New Business Designer to join our Enterprise New Business team. This is a highly executional, individual‑contributor role focused primarily on PowerPoint design, including custom pitch templates, layout systems, and presentation polish, with graphic design support as needed.
You will work closely with new business, strategy, and creative partners to help transform complex ideas into clear, visually compelling pitch materials that support Real Chemistry’s growth efforts.
What You’ll Do
- Design and build high‑impact pitch decks primarily in PowerPoint, ensuring clarity, consistency, and visual polish
- Create custom PowerPoint templates and slide systems tailored to individual new business opportunities, while aligning with Real Chemistry brand guidelines
- Translate strategic and written content into clean, engaging layouts that tell a cohesive story
- Apply lgraphic design support as needed (e.g., charts, icons, simple illustrations, visual frameworks)
- Partner closely with new business, strategy, and creative teams to meet tight deadlines and evolving pitch needs
- Ensure all materials meet Real Chemistry’s quality, accessibility, and brand standards
What You Bring
- 8-10+ years of experience in presentation design, design production, or similar role, preferably within an agency, consulting, or new business environment
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, with a strong understanding of master slides, templates, and layout systems
- Solid design fundamentals, including typography, layout, hierarchy, and visual storytelling
- Experience with graphic design using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Illustrator, InDesign) or comparable tools
- Ability to work quickly and accurately under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
- A collaborative, solutions‑oriented mindset and comfort working with cross‑functional partners
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting new business, pitches, RFIs/RFPs, or growth initiatives
- Familiarity with healthcare, life sciences, or highly regulated industries
- Experience adapting or extending established brand systems within presentations

Pay Range: $75-85 per hour
This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Working with Real HART: Since the pandemic, we have adapted to how our people told us they want to work. We have office locations in cities in the US, UK, and Europe with many employees and clients that serve as hubs where and when they need us. For employees who are within an hour of one of our offices, we expect attendance in the office two days per week, either at a Real Chemistry office or onsite with clients. Graphic Design Intern

What You’ll Do
As a Graphic Design Intern, you’ll work closely with designers, marketers, and writers to create high-impact visual content. You'll be involved in projects from concept to execution, building your skills in branding, digital design, and visual storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Production: Create digital and print graphics including infographics, social media visuals, presentations, email assets, and event collateral—all in alignment with Minitab’s brand standards.
- Brand Storytelling: Assist in visualizing brand messaging across campaigns, helping to tell compelling stories through design.
- Web & UI/UX Support: Collaborate on wireframes, prototypes, and design elements for web projects.
- Creative Collaboration: Work alongside copywriters and marketers to ensure consistent and engaging visual/written messaging.
- Digital Marketing: Edit and build marketing emails in platforms like HubSpot and Marketo; assist with web content updates via Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
- Design Tools: Work daily in Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, Canva, and Miro to develop and refine creative assets.
- AI Exploration: Experiment with generative AI tools to support ideation and rapid prototyping.
- Creative Support: Contribute to brainstorming sessions, organize final assets, and bring new ideas to the table.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a motivated, creative individual with a passion for design and a strong attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Senior or rising senior pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Interaction Design, or a related field.
- A strong portfolio showcasing creativity, conceptual thinking, and a solid grasp of visual design principles.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, Canva, and Miro.
- Familiarity with digital marketing platforms (HubSpot, Marketo, AEM) is a plus.
- Interest in emerging technologies, including AI in design workflows.
- Basic copywriting, messaging, or content strategy experience is a bonus.
Preferred Skills
- A passion for visual storytelling, branding, and communication design.
- Understanding of UX/UI principles and accessibility standards.
- Exposure to motion graphics, basic HTML/CSS, or interactive media is a bonus.

This is an onsite position at our Chicago office and remote work is not an option.
