The Periscope Group is a nationwide network of physical and occupational therapists who perform one-time, in-home medical necessity assessments.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform one-time comprehensive medical need assessments in an individual’s home.
- Provide expert recommendations for equipment, service, and care that empower members to maintain independence
- Complete straightforward documentation through our secure, user-friendly online potable accessible from any device
Qualifications and Requirements
- Current licensure as a Physical or Occupational Therapist (Sorry, No PTAs or COTAs).
- Malpractice/Liability Insurance (may be purchased at the time of job offer).
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, navigate stairs and varied home environments, and perform physical assessments as needed
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to and from member homes
- Proficient with technology: able to navigate online portals, upload documents, and use your preferred device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) for all work tasks
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Experience (Not Required)
- Home safety assessment background
- Knowledge (Familiarity) of durable medical equipment
- Experience with home modifications
- Work history with diverse medical conditions

Your Responsibilities
Customer Experience & Sales
- Prioritize interactions and communication with customers. Provide community and amenity tours.
- Provide feedback on sales barriers and customer objections to management team.
- Execute sales and engagement initiatives as outlined by management.
- Provide recommendations on local marketing opportunities and messaging.
- Assist with social media and communication on various platforms to engage customers.
- Assist with planning, promoting and executing customer experience initiatives, engagement initiatives, and additional marketing opportunities.
- Always represent the community positively and professionally, both in and out of the office.
Property Administration
- Demonstrate proficiency with general community, market and policy knowledge.
- Log, file and retrieve customer packages.
- Assist with general housekeeping involved with opening, closing and maintaining the office, clubhouse, grounds and amenities.
- Schedule and follow up on maintenance requests to aid in timely resolutions.
- Maintain office organization and cleanliness.
- Assist with after-hours lock out duties as required.

Operational Details
- Job location is at the assigned property.

The Solutions Engineering Team

The Solutions Engineer Opportunity
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Solutions Engineering, the Solutions Engineer is a functional business consultant, with a passion for technology and the advanced ability to develop, position and demonstrate product-specific solutions during sales cycles, while achieving quarterly and annual sales goals for an assigned territory.
What you’ll be doing
- Work alongside the sales team as the technical and domain expert of a customer-facing sales team to help Customers understand the value of Okta’s solutions
- Understand customer challenges and business issues and provide product demonstrations to align our solutions with customer needs
- Answer product feature and technical questions from customers, partners and Okta colleagues
- Plan and deliver Proof Of Concepts for customers who have more complex use cases, collaborating with other Okta engineering teams as needed
- Provide feedback to product management about product enhancements that can address customer needs and provide additional value
- Share and learn best practices and re-usable assets with other Solutions Engineers to enhance the quality and efficiency of the team
- Stay current on competitive analysis and market differentiation
- Support marketing events including executive briefings, conferences, user groups, and trade shows
What you’ll bring to the role
- 5+ years pre-sales engineering experience, selling SaaS products.
- A passion to serve the Customer, demonstrated in a customer-facing role, such as consulting or support, but ideally in a pre-sales capacity.
- An ability to quickly communicate complex ideas around a technical topic, ideally on the fly, using a whiteboard.
- Experience with at least one standard network security protocol. (eg. OAuth, OAuth2, SAML, LDAP)
- Hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas: web (JavaScript, HTML, frontend frameworks) development, mobile (iOS, Android) development, backend (Java, C#, Node.js, Python, PHP, Ruby) development, IP-based real-time communications.
- An understanding of core security concerns within a typical application. (password hashing, SSL/TLS, encryption at rest, XSS, XSRF)
- Exceptional communicator.
- Confident dispensing knowledge to highly-skilled and experienced audiences.
- Typically 25% travel.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS or a comparable field is preferred.
