JOB SUMMARY
The Clinic Manager will lead daily operations, staff management, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth and efficient patient care delivery. The role encompasses budget oversight, regulatory compliance, and fostering a positive work environment to support staff morale and enhance patient satisfaction, contributing to the overall success and reputation of the clinic.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Clinic Manager I job description is intended to point out major responsibilities within the role, but it is not limited to these items.
- Directs, supervises, coordinates specific functions and activities of clinic, including systems, policies and procedures, human resources, support services.
- Facilitates the employment, development, and management of employees.
- Promotes the provision of cost-effective, high-quality health care services to patients.
- Cooperates with medical and administrative staff to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
- Reviews operational problems / policies and recommends solutions and changes to the Medical Director, Regional Manager, or VP of Operations.
- Collaborates with Operations Leadership in the preparation and implementation of quarterly budgets. Recommends funding based on knowledge of policies, costs, and operating practices.
- Represents clinic at public and professional meetings and conferences.
- Participate in clinic communication and public relations programs in collaboration with marketing.
- Maintains professional affiliations and enhances professional development to keep pace with the trends in health care.
EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
(LICENSURES AND CERTIFICATIONS)
- Bachelor’s degree (4+ additional years of comparable work experience beyond the required years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a bachelor’s degree)
- 1+ years of healthcare administration experience
- 1+ years of supervisory experience
- Bilingual English/Spanish (preferred but not required)
PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES
- Computer literacy in Excel, word, outlook, PowerPoint, Electronic Medical Records
- Knowledge of health care administration, clinic philosophy and policies, operating procedures, and fiscal management systems
- Knowledge of governmental regulations and reimbursement standards.

A Day in the Life
Your CFO client just called. Her accounting department could really use help prepping for an upcoming audit. Or maybe she needs a seasoned project manager to lead a merger integration.
As a Business Development Director, you bring a strong network and elevated approach to consulting and/or staffing sales. As a core revenue driver, you promote Vaco to area businesses for critical projects in audit, tax, finance, accounting, and more.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Grow and develop strong relationships with clients and senior accounting & financial leaders.
- Work with an elite recruitment team to fulfill special projects and interim positions in audit, financial reporting, FP&A, M&A, taxation, software implementations, and more.
- Keep a regular pulse on the market as it relates to businesses and hiring trends. (e.g., Expansions, mergers/acquisitions, dissolutions, relocations, new businesses entering the market, etc.)
- Establish and conduct client visits according to activity goals.

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree required. CPA, CFA, MBA or other professional designation highly desired.
- Minimum 4 years’ client relations experience in audit, tax, and/or public accounting highly preferred, or experience selling accounting/financial project solutions.
- Proven success achieving and/or exceeding performance goals.
Technical Skills:
- Must have working knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Experience with Bullhorn preferred.
Basic Skills:
- Able to work with a sense of urgency and meet tight deadlines; Organized, detailed, and results driven.
Travel:
<10% - Occasional travel to client sites

We are seeking a Senior Gift Officer to join our development team. As a Senior Gift Officer, qualifies, cultivates, solicits, and stewards donors and donor prospects capable of making commitments in the assigned region for all ministries and programs of Buckner International. What You’ll Do
As a member of our team, you will have an impact on our clients through the accomplishment of the following responsibilities:
- Manage a donor development portfolio of individuals, churches, foundations, and other organizations, both donor and donor prospects.
- Develop and implement an annual development plan for donors and donor prospects assigned to the Gift Officer portfolio to identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward.
- Support the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of donors for capital fund drives and other organizational campaigns as assigned.
- Fully utilize tools and resources of Buckner to establish cultivation strategies and conduct calls and visits with individuals, foundations, churches and corporations, with Buckner staff or individually, to promote Buckner and its program needs.
- Make qualification calls and visits to individuals, corporations, churches, foundations and other organizations for the purpose of identifying and then cultivating relationships that could lead to donations to Buckner ministries.
- Prepare written proposals to support direct solicitations.
- Support Buckner events and activities in assigned geographical areas and travel to visit donors and prospects as necessary
- Utilize, as appropriate, program staff and Executive Directors in the identification, cultivation and solicitation of prospects/donors.
- Utilize Buckner International Board Members and Buckner Development Council Members and other volunteers in the cultivation and solicitation of donors and donor prospects.
- Championing a greater understanding and awareness of Buckner’s mission and ministry among donors/prospects by intentionally managing relationships internally and externally.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
To be successful in this role and a great addition to our team we need you to come with the following:
- The ability to successfully identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors and donor prospects in the assigned area for all Buckner ministries and programs. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years prior related experience in building and sustaining relationships with constituents engaged with an organization.
- Requires prior related experience working with necessary parties to develop and refine content for solicitations.
- Requires proven successful experience in identifying, cultivating, and sustaining relationships that lead to financial or other contributions to an organization.
- Current certification as a Certified Fund Raising Executive is preferred.
- Requires proficient working knowledge and experience in proposal writing, as well as knowledge of foundation grant writing processes.
- Proficient working knowledge of donor development, fundraising, and public relations laws and regulations governing agencies and employees.
