Centrum Health’s Sr. Manager of Risk Adjustment and Quality will be responsible for managing a team of Risk Adjustment Coders, HEDIS specialists, Billers, and Auditors to maintain daily billing and coding operations for our wholly owned clinics and affiliated practices. In this role, the candidate must excel at cross-departmental collaboration with Physicians, Clinical Operations, Data/Technology, and Finance teams.
The individual must be a subject matter expert in ACA, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid risk adjustment, billing, and quality operations. The position delivers best-in-class results while operating under strict regulatory adherence and a strong compliance mindset.
This is an onsite position in Doral, FL.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
• The core function of this role includes management of risk adjustment, medical records, coding, and billing operations.
• Lead a team to drive risk adjustment performance across Medicare Advantage, ACO, Medicaid, and ACA lines of business.
• Provide thought leadership in the continued development of the Risk Adjustment and Quality function, including collaboration with analytics and internal technology teams to develop a Risk Adjustment and Quality Suspecting Engine.
• Work closely with internal technical teams to develop in house tools to support Risk Adjustment operations.
• Provide leadership and overall program management for retrospective and prospective encounter facilitation, supplemental data submission, virtual visits, and in-office assessments.
• Collaborate with Actuarial and Analytics teams to design and implement suspecting and segmentation strategies for prospective and retrospective programs.
• Develop short-term, quick-win initiatives as well as long-term, analytics-driven gap-closure programs and tools.
• Communicate complex concepts to non-technical business stakeholders across the full business cycle—from question identification through results interpretation—including data integrity considerations.
• Ensure Centrum Health’s ability to meet federal and state regulatory compliance and reporting requirements, including RADV audits, on an annual basis.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• This position will have direct and indirect supervisory responsibility for risk adjustment program execution and analytics functions.
• Occasional travel may be required.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field or equivalent experience, required.
- Six (6) or more years of experience in healthcare Risk Adjustment required.
- Experience working with primary care providers and practices in value-based care.
- Three (3) or more years of leadership experience managing and mentoring teams.
- CPC, CRC, and CPMA certifications are highly preferred.
- Experience working with Medicare Advantage, ACA, and Medicaid health plans is preferred.
- Working knowledge of business intelligence tools and their application in driving business decisions.
- Experience with in-home and virtual engagement capabilities, preferred.

The Clinic Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of one or two outpatient medical clinics within a region to ensure efficient patient care delivery, patient engagement, and retention. This role involves overseeing staff management, administrative tasks, budget oversight, and ensuring regulatory compliance. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the daily operations of a medical clinic, ensuring efficient clinic operations.
- Manage a fast-paced environment and collaborate with clinicians (physicians and nurse practitioners). Directly manage clinic staff to ensure efficient center operations while maintaining patient engagement and retention.
- Take direction from senior management, devise plans, and execute to produce intended results.

An X-ray Technician is a medical professional responsible for using imaging machines and tools to create a map of a patient’s internal tissues and organ systems to assess their overall health. - Follow instructions from Physicians regarding which area of the patient’s body needs imaging
- Talk the patient through the procedure and answer questions to lower their anxiety

- Follow correct techniques and procedures such as patient shielding

Education:

Duties and Responsibilities
- Providing high-quality healthcare to patients, including listening to and properly diagnosing patients’ medical concerns and ailments
- Conducting initial assessments of patients to learn about their medical history, their health goals, and any potential health risks
- Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services for acute and chronic conditions
- Ordering lab tests and imaging studies, prescribing medications, and providing other treatment modalities such as physical therapy or massage therapy
- Diagnosing illnesses through physical examinations, medical tests, and analysis of patient histories
- Prescribe medications, treatments, diets, or other care plans to maintain health or alleviate symptoms of disease or injury
- May supervise nurse practitioner(s) - additional monthly pay per direct report

Education and Experience:

JOB SUMMARY:
The Regional Medical Director reports to the Chief Medical Officer for primary care and is a physician leader who oversees and improves the quality of care, manages medical staff, and develops/implement policies and procedures for a product line or within a primary care setting for a region of clinics (Houston). They also lead in areas like quality improvement, care coordination, and population health management.
The role will be hybrid consisting of clinical medical leadership and direct patient care. Some travel in the market will be required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leadership and Management: Supervise medical providers in a region, mentor them, and ensure their priorities align with the organization's. This includes supporting their teams, addressing questions, and communicating updates and business goals.
- Quality Improvement: Implement initiatives to improve quality outcomes, monitor quality dashboards, and address gaps in care.
- Care Coordination: Develop and implement protocols for seamless transitions of care between primary care and specialists.
- Population Health: Develop and implement programs and strategies to improve the health of a specific population, often focusing on chronic conditions and preventative care.
- Collaboration: Lead communication with stakeholders, gather input from medical providers, and keep leaders informed about care models and programs.
- Physician Leadership Development: Develop leadership skills in providers through mentoring and coaching.
- Managed Care: Understand and communicate managed care prospects to medical providers.
- Provider Experience: Assist in hiring and retaining providers.
- Data Analysis: Use data to drive clinical strategy and program redesign.

EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school is required.
- Active medical license in Texas and ability to obtain additional licenses as required. Board certified or Board eligible required.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in primary care, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
- Extensive experience in integrated care models, value-based care, and population health management.
- Comprehensive knowledge of virtual healthcare delivery systems, telehealth regulations, and digital health technologies.
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse, multi-state workforce.
