A day in the life:

As a Senior Account Director, you’ll be responsible for working with clients in the Healthcare division. You will have a broad and varied background with hands-on experience across many digital marketing channels and tools. This role will work to drive performance through integrated marketing tactics across paid, owned and earned channels. As a seasoned business consultant, the Senior Account Director will guide and counsel clients on how marketing tactics can drive business outcomes. The Senior Account Director will manage direct reports and lead cross-functional account teams of highly-talented marketers by working closely to optimize their efforts and provide strategic guidance. In collaboration with Account Managers, they will spearhead service expansions, manage media, craft testing roadmaps and lead tactical pivots when necessary. Additionally, you will demonstrate exceptional leadership by gaining trust and providing unmatched strategic insight to their cross-functional account teams. Within the Client Services department, the Senior Account Director will also be responsible for leading key initiatives within the team such as talent acquisition, training or product quality. Responsibilities:

• Client-centric Communication: Establishes a strong relationship with client key decision makers by hosting monthly one-on-one check-ins to review holistic business performance, gauge sentiment, solicit feedback and share additional opportunities to support the business goals
• Marketing Strategy: Leads the cross-functional account teams with a comprehensive strategy across paid, owned and earned channels to meet or exceed client business objectives; Demonstrates proficiency in cross-channel media planning and testing roadmaps, including the connection of a client’s product, audience and media
• Client Performance & Results: Ensures that at least 75% of their client roster is hitting their goals/forecast targets within the partnership.

• Measurement Frameworks: Uses overlapping datasets to find the truth and make better marketing decisions; Prioritizes business metrics to guide strategy and budgets; Leverages platform or attribution metrics to inform tactical daily optimizations; Uses incrementality to validate when needed
• Team Coaching and Development: Leads by example and practices servant leadership; Delivers timely, specific feedback to team members to up-level business acumen and connect the marketing objectives to business objectives
• Existing Account Manager Support: Shadows and provides coaching and feedback to new hires within the first 90 days and/or existing Account Managers to ensure high product quality and assist in coaching any skill gaps
• Client Portfolio: Manages a diverse set of clients totaling with specific target monthly recurring revenue
• Client Retention: Leads the contract renewal strategy by following the established client renewal process and timelines.  Takes a proactive approach to the process, beginning at least 90 days in advance of the contract expiration date by preparing the  presentation and proposal development alongside the Account Manager to extend client partnerships.  Reviews and analyzes client contracts on a regular basis to ensure goals are on target
• Service Expansions: Works with the Account Manager and the internal account team to identify additional strategies to improve performance and expand client partnerships. 
• Own the strategic coaching and development of Account Managers and Resource Team leads, ensuring teams can independently connect channel execution to client business outcomes and confidently lead client conversations
• Elevate client-facing excellence across accounts, coaching teams on storytelling, executive presence, and emotional intelligence to deliver clear, polished recommendations
• Scale team capability and consistency, developing AMs as strategic leaders, reinforcing shared expectations across accounts, and balancing client demands with team capacity to drive sustainable performance.
• Department Operations: Plays an active role in supporting key department initiatives such as recruitment, staffing, training, onboarding and more
• Specialty Focus Area: Identifies a focus area within the department that aligns with the individual’s skill set; Creates a roadmap alongside the Account Manager to enhance and optimize that focus area (e.g., Training, Reporting, Talent Acquisition)
• Responsible for other tasks and projects as assigned by Client Services department leadership, as needed
• Employ AI technologies to enhance and optimize business processes

Role Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communication or related discipline
• 10+ years cross-channel digital marketing experience, including: strategic planning, consumer insights, digital integration and client services, ideally in a digital or media agency
• Proven track record of delivering high customer satisfaction scores through NPS or similar retention metrics
• Strong understanding of paid media, particularly Google Ads and Meta Ads
• Working knowledge of SEO, Analytics, and Creative workflows and deliverables
• Experience speaking to business-level metrics such as LTV:CAC, ROAS, etc.
• Proficiency in establishing goals for clients and validating forecast scenarios to show a path to goal
• Campaign leadership skills for end-to-end campaign development including strategy, segmentation, targeting, etc. in a multi-channel environment
• Ability to quickly build rapport and develop relationships with executive-level points of contact

PROGRAM/GOAL OVERVIEW

Currently registered in 14 of the world's most vulnerable countries, GOAL offers a wide range of humanitarian and development programmes, ranging from humanitarian aid in disaster situations to focusing on nutrition, food security and building greater resilience and sustainable livelihoods.

The Programme Innovation Lab is a dynamic and collaborative unit established by GOAL to foster the innovation that emerges from its programmes and promote it within the organisation and the wider humanitarian and development community. The Lab is an open space that facilitates collaboration and partnership between innovation champions within GOAL and key external strategic partners in order to support innovations that can be scaled to overcome humanitarian crises.  GOAL’s innovations include but are not limited to programmatic approaches, digital technologies, and various engineering solutions.

The "Programme Innovation Lab" (referred to as the Lab) is led by the Digital Technology Programmes Specialist, and is part of GOAL’s Programme Technical Team (PTT) with team members based in various countries around the world.  This specific role is managed through the GOAL Honduras country office alongside key Lab staff also based in Honduras.

OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION

The main objective of the Technology and Information Management Intern is to provide practical support to the Lab by helping build and organise a central management system in Monday.com. This includes supporting the set-up of boards/databases, dashboards, and simple workflow automations to help the Lab track tasks, projects, and agreed indicators, organise key information, and improve visibility of work across the portfolio, under the guidance of the supervisor.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES / FUNCTIONS

• Support the set-up and organisation of the Lab’s Monday.com workspace, including creating boards/databases, fields, and simple templates as agreed with the supervisor.
• Support the development of dashboards and reporting views to help track basic progress across tasks and projects (for example status, timelines, owners, and key milestones).
• Support the configuration of simple workflow automations (for example reminders, notifications, and status updates) to reduce manual follow-up.
• Support the organisation of a structured events and external engagement calendar within Monday.com, including key dates and basic information.
• Support the creation and maintenance of searchable lists or repositories in Monday.com for Lab innovations and key Lab products (for example presentations, briefs, case studies, and communication assets), using consistent naming and tagging.
• Support documentation of the Monday.com system by preparing simple user guidance (quick notes, screenshots, and basic “how-to” instructions) for non-technical users.
• Support basic troubleshooting and improvements based on feedback from Lab colleagues, under supervision.

Other responsibilities:

• Be prepared to undertake a wide range of other activities related to innovation systems and information management, as required by the Lab.

MINIMUM PROFILE REQUIRED

Professional Studies:

• University student completing a professional internship placement in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Software Engineering, or related studies.

Professional Experience:

• Coursework or academic projects demonstrating interest or skills in one or more of the following: database concepts, data organisation, dashboards, workflow automation, or low-code/no-code tools.
• Familiarity with Monday.com is an advantage, or experience using similar tools (for example Airtable, Asana, Trello, Power BI, or comparable systems).

Knowledge:

• Basic understanding of structured information (fields, categories, consistent naming, and clean data).
• Interest in monitoring, evaluation, and learning; project management and/or information
• Ability to use office software, especially Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
