What will you bring to the team.

Toshiba is seeking an experienced Software Development Manager who will be responsible for leading a department of direct reports that will include 12-14 software developers.

Responsibilities will include guiding and supporting the team throughout the development and successful deployment of new product releases, optimizing development processes and team efficiencies, challenging the team technically and participating in scrum and code reviews, managing capacity and personnel matters plus effectively growing technical skills and evaluating performance with data.

This position requires previous software development experience (writing code in Java) and usage of AI tools to optimize processes. We are looking for someone with extensive people management experience to carry out the responsibilities for project activities across a broad and cross-functional team.

What will you be doing:

• Delivery of high-quality product releases and functionality.
• Managing the performance of the development team ensuring product commitments are met.
• Provide clear prioritization of objectives, timely and appropriate communication, and continuous demonstration of ownership and accountability
• Create a highly collaborative, productive and efficient work environment
• Collaborate closely with product owners
• Enabling the development and support of an innovative product.
• Promote continuous process improvement. Ensuring Agile/SAFe practices are applied and followed.
• Driving the team through scrum participation.
• Reviewing the code to ensure proper coding practices are followed.

Naturally to be successful in this role, you must have and know of:

• BS or Master’s Degree in computer science, software development, or related field.
• +8 years of professional experience. 
• Previous hands-on software development experience with Java.
• Experience of AI: use of Claude Code, Cursor or Codex (Preferred) to generate code, debug code, build workflows, architecture design aspect or automation testing, test scripts.
• Experience in managing software development teams and projects in Agile methodologies.
• People management experience including performance management, motivation, career development and dealing with conflict.
• Ability to demonstrate code review capabilities.
• Full understanding of the software development lifecycle and bring a product to production.
• Fluent in English.
• Good analytic and logical problem solving skills.
• Strong collaborative and teaming skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and customers.

Preferred skills:

• SAFe experience.
• Understanding of Test Automation and Test-Driven Development.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

At Clari + Salesloft, our Senior Creative Program Manager will be pivotal to our company’s success. You will be a key member of our fast-growing and high-performing as the operations heartbeat of our fast-growing and high-performing Creative & Content team.

On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for the creative operations of our team.  Specifically, you’ll excel in: 

• End-to-End Campaign Execution: Drive the full lifecycle of creative and content projects related to brand, product, go-to-market campaigns, demand gen campaigns and events. Manage everything from initial briefing to final delivery while maintaining ownership and accountability for keeping projects on track, ensuring critical project milestones and timelines are met.
• Brand Store Management: Manage the creation and distribution of branded merchandise (clothing and swag). Collaborate with the Creative & Content team, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure beautiful, high quality merchandise.  
• Operational Infrastructure: Own and optimize the creative tech stack (Monday.com), establishing scalable intake processes, automated workflows, and documentation systems that increase transparency.
• Resource & Capacity Planning: Develop data-backed forecasting models to anticipate project demand, managing the balance between internal team bandwidth and external freelancer/agency support.
• Data-Driven Insights: Build and manage reporting dashboards to track "studio health" metrics—including team utilization, SLAs, and delivery speed—transforming raw data into actionable insights for leadership.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Serve as the primary connective tissue between Creative & Content, Marketing, and Finance teams, ensuring projects are prioritized according to business impact and brand strategy.
• Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Navigate high-pressure decision-making with executives while managing external vendors to ensure technical requirements and design intent are met.
• Continuous Improvement: Lead retrospectives and identify operational bottlenecks to constantly iterate on team communication, tools, and processes.
• Production Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations for specialized functions, such as video studios or event creative systems, including production calendars and post-production delivery.
• Innovation & Automation: Champion the use of AI-driven tools and automation to reduce manual overhead, streamlining operations to unlock more time for the creative process.

THE SKILL SET:

• Experience: 5+ years in Creative Operations, Design Program Management, or Project Management within a high-growth in-house team or agency.

• Analytical Rigor: Proven ability to visualize data using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker to drive strategic recommendations.
• Production Fluency: Deep understanding of the creative lifecycle across digital, video, and physical/event production (familiarity with CAD or 3D fabrication is a plus).
• Capacity Modeling: Skilled in resource forecasting and headcount planning based on project volume and historical data.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills, with a talent for translating complex creative needs into structured project plans for technical and executive stakeholders.
• Adaptability: A proactive problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced environments and can drive alignment across matrixed organizations.
• AI Integration: A forward-thinking approach to incorporating AI and automation into creative workflows to improve efficiency.

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:

• Direct experience with Figma or Adobe Creative Cloud to better understand designer workflows.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, CSM (Scrum Master), or platform-specific certifications.
• Experience managing global creative programs across multiple time zones.
• A background in change management, particularly leading software migrations or organizational shifts.
