As the Director – European Government Operations, based in Munich/ Berlin, Germany, you will lead Rocket Lab’s government affairs strategy across Germany with targeted engagement in priority European markets as the company’s regional footprint evolves. You will play a critical role in advancing Rocket Lab’s business objectives by shaping policy environments, building strategic government relationships, and ensuring alignment between Government Affairs and Business Development. WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO

• Develop and lead Rocket Lab’s government affairs strategy in Germany, with targeted engagement in priority European markets as this area of interest develops, ensuring alignment with corporate priorities and business development objectives
• Engage with EU‑level institutions and programs relevant to space and defense, including EDF, EDIP, EUSPA, and the European Defense Agency (EDA), to advance Rocket Lab’s policy and program objectives.
• Establish and grow Rocket Lab’s presence with government entities and innovation ecosystems in Munich and other strategic European hubs
• Partner closely with the Business Development team to support market expansion, customer engagement, and pursuit of government‑funded programs
• Shape Rocket Lab’s positioning in active European policy debates - including launch sovereignty, the European Defense Industrial Program (EDIP), dual‑use technology regulation, and the EU Space Program’s procurement frame works.
• Provide strategic guidance on developments directly relevant to Rocket Lab’s position as a non‑European supplier - including export control regimes (ITAR/EAR), European sovereign capability debates, and evolving defense procurement preferences under the Zeitenwende.
• Represent Rocket Lab in industry associations, working groups, and public‑sector forums to strengthen the company’s visibility and credibility
• Drive measurable business outcomes through targeted government engagement not only monitoring policy trends but actively shaping them
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on European political dynamics, defense priorities, and government procurement pathways

YOU’LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in political science, international relations, public policy, law, economics, engineering, or a related field
• 12+ years of experience in government affairs, public policy, defense, aerospace, or related strategic roles within Germany or Europe
• Professional fluency in German and English
• Demonstrated success building and managing relationships with senior government officials, policymakers, and public‑sector institutions
• Proven ability to drive business‑aligned outcomes through government engagement, not solely policy monitoring
• Strong understanding of European political structures, defense priorities, civil space programs, and procurement processes - including familiarity with ESA programs, EU space initiatives, and international exploration frameworks such as Artemis.
• Familiarity with NATO space and defense structures - including NATO DIANA, the NATO Space Centre at Ramstein, and national resilience frameworks under Article 3 obligations.
• Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously, set strategy, and execute in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management skills

Role Overview

The Executive Engagement Officer supports Axon’s Global Executive Engagement function by coordinating, preparing, and executing executive-level engagement activities across international markets. Working under the direction of the Senior Vice President, Global Sales Programs & Partners, this role ensures that engagements with senior police, defence, and government leaders are well-prepared, professionally delivered, and effectively followed through. The role focuses on operational execution, stakeholder coordination, and internal alignment rather than setting strategy or owning executive relationships independently.

As Axon’s portfolio and international footprint continue to expand, effective executive engagement requires discipline, consistency, and high-quality execution. In this role, you will support engagement activities that strengthen Axon’s relationships with senior public safety leaders and ensure continuity across meetings, events, and follow-up actions. Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning and execution of executive engagements with senior leaders across police, defence, and government agencies internationally.
• Prepare and coordinate briefing materials, background research, stakeholder profiles, and meeting documentation.

We are looking for an experienced and highly strategic HR professional to take on a dual role, serving as a Lead People Partner for our UK/Europe region while simultaneously acting as the HR Country Lead across our European operating countries.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Experience & Knowledge

• 8–10+ years of progressive HR experience, with a strong Employee Relations focus/specialism along with broad generalist experience.
• Proven track record of direct partnership with senior leaders and experience leading HR for a client group, ideally in a sales & marketing or similar fast-paced environment.
• Expert understanding of employment law and consultation frameworks across Germany
• Strong understanding / awareness of employment law and consultation frameworks across other European jurisdictions, particularly France. 
• Program management experience in policy/process development and managing compliance workstreams for new market entry.

Employee Relations Management

• Serve as an expert on Time & Attendance matters, and assist Senior Specialists and Experts on complex projects, including implementing and advising clients and employees on employment law changes from Collective Bargaining Agreement updates.
• Be case manager for all employee lifecycle leave and working hours matters with accuracy and attention to detail for both internal and external employees of Remote through out the employee lifecycle including but not limited to Family Leave, Sick Leave, Time Tracking, Public Holidays, Working Time.
• Advise on employment legislation and provide guidance on both basic and complex legal interpretations as outlined in employment agreements and labor law as a trusted consultant to clients and employees.

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Language Clients team - a group of motivated engineers ready to do their best work. You will build a high-output culture, set a clear technical direction, and expand our reach from client libraries into the broader open source ecosystem.

This is a high-ownership role. You will work closely with engineering leadership in your first months, with autonomy expanding as fast as you build confidence and context — there is no artificial timeline.

What You'll Do

Team & culture. Recruit, coach, and develop a high-bar team; set crisp expectations and foster a culture of ownership, speed, and continuous improvement. Mentor engineers at all levels, create growth opportunities, and build psychological safety and a healthy, inclusive environment where engineers do their best work.

Technical direction. Shape the product and execution strategy for language clients to stay ahead of 10x growth. Make opinionated architectural decisions while maintaining a customer-focused, fast-shipping culture. Establish measurable UX and developer experience benchmarks and own the roadmap to make ClickHouse client libraries best-in-class in the OLAP space.

OSS & Ecosystem. Lead expansion from core client libraries into a broader ecosystem: integrations, SDKs, partner tooling, and community-built extensions. Establish and sustain effective collaboration with OSS communities: contribute, build relationships, and earn trust in public technical spaces. Represent ClickHouse externally at conferences, in community forums, and with partners.

Collaboration. Build productive relationships with product, developer relations, and sales engineering without losing engineering focus. Know when to protect team capacity and scope — and make that case clearly upward.

Qualifications

Leadership & Execution. 3+ years managing software engineers with a track record of hiring, developing, and retaining strong talent. Demonstrated ability to grow engineers into senior contributors and future leads. Comfortable driving execution in ambiguous environments: setting crisp priorities and delivering impact without over-process. Startup experience preferred.

Technical excellence. 10+ years of industry experience building developer-facing tools, open source software, or data-intensive systems. Hands-on: you engage with technical designs, review code, and guide via technical feedback. Deep interest in staying on the technological edge - actively follows trends in developer tooling, data, and the OSS space.

OSS & product mindset. Experience collaborating with open source communities and earning trust in public technical spaces. Track record of external representation: talks, blog posts, community engagement, or partner development. Strong product ownership — capable of setting direction, not just executing it. Customer-centric: turns developer feedback into roadmap and ships fast with tight feedback loops.

ABOUT THE ROLE

YOUR MISSION:

As an on-site Operations Coordinator, you are the lifeblood of our Numa properties. Your mission is to ensure every guest steps into a flawless physical environment, rooted in clean, well-maintained, and perfectly on-brand spaces. Working closely with Housekeeping, Maintenance, your regional and central Ops peers, and our remote Guest Experience Team, you act as the proactive eyes and ears of our tech-enabled hotel model.

Your Objectives:

In this role, you will:

• Obsess Over Guest Rooms: The guest rooms are your ultimate domain and primary focus. You are responsible for conducting rigorous daily room checks, executing improvement projects and working alongside Housekeeping  and Maintenance to continuously elevate the quality of our spaces day-in and day-out, using our in-house developed tech-stack. 
• Run Daily Operations: Monitor arrivals, run daily housekeeping briefings, and rigorously walk all public areas (lobbies, hallways, stairwells) to ensure they are pristine and guest-ready. Schedule and attend maintenance appointments, guarantee rooms are ready by check-in, ensure key guest amenities managed by external partners (like gyms or breakfast partners) run smoothly day-to-day, and execute key property projects flawlessly.
• Spot It, Report It, Own It: Proactively spot, report, and fix discrepancies before they impact the guest experience. Analyze our guests' reviews and conversations with Numa every day, identifying the root cause of on-site requests or complaints, and then work to fix them: fast, effectively, and with full follow-through.
• Structure Back of House: Keep the engine room running by managing efficient storage, proactively handling stock and deliveries and enforcing local compliance. Act as the physical hands on-site for our remote ICT team, assisting with tech troubleshooting as required.
• Keep The Team In The Loop: Over-communicate. You take responsibility for keeping the wider company and teams informed through consistently logging issues and escalating on site developments as required to allow us to proactively course correct.Manage property knowledge. Actively update internal databases, check online listings for accuracy and ensure our guest-facing digital information is on point so remote teams can always rely on the information they find and have the real-time context they need.

Our Internship Program

We are looking for individuals to join our training program in Berlin, Frankfurt, Munich - Germany.

As an intern, you will gain real experience in corporate communications strategy by helping our clients navigate the interconnected financial, political, and social arenas of today. You will work directly on some of the most high-profile and sensitive issues facing the world at large, with clients ranging across industries and mandates. As the Senior Corporate and Policy Communications Manager for DACH & CEE, you will play a central role in shaping and executing the communications strategy for one of our most important European markets. You will help tell Airbnb's story - how we build trust and belonging in communities—while navigating one of Europe's most complex regulatory landscapes.

Joining our DACH & CEE Communications team based in Berlin, you will work closely with local policy, marketing, legal, and partnerships teams, and forge strong relationships across EMEA and the US. Your role is critical: Germany's regulatory environment around housing, short-term rentals, and overtourism is complex and politically sensitive and your ability to shape and amplify impactful narratives, anticipate issues, and maintain Airbnb's reputation will directly influence business outcomes and regulatory relationships.

The Difference You will Make:

• Drive impactful campaigns addressing overtourism challenges through locally relevant nature tourism and travel dispersal narratives, positioning Airbnb as a responsible community actor that builds trust and belonging
• Manage the press office across complex topics: regulatory affairs, housing policy, taxation, community impact, and trust & safety
• Engage directly with journalists in Germany; build and leverage established media contacts to shape narrative and anticipate emerging threats
• Work with cross functional partners to develop, plan and execute a regular drumbeat of robust stories and comms moments that demonstrate Airbnb's contribution to communities and economies while navigating sensitive regulatory terrain
• Lead agency partnerships, setting strategic direction for external communications suppliers
• Protect the business by proactively communicating our commitment to community trust, responsible hosting, and addressing legitimate policy concern.

A Typical Day: 

• Develop proactive corporate and policy communications strategy with Germany Policy, Legal, Marketing, and Partnerships teams
• Manage the press office, handling reactive media enquiries and responding to journalists on deadline with strategic messaging
• Build relationships with key reporters and editors in the German media landscape; identify proactive story opportunities
• Develop written communications materials (story pitches, press releases, messaging, Q&As, briefs, presentations)
• Brief executives and colleagues for media interviews and public speaking engagements
• Lead agency partnerships and manage external communications suppliers
• Monitor the news cycle to identify emerging threats and opportunities for proactive communications
• Collaborate with Policy, Legal, Consumer Communications, and global corporate communications teams

Your Expertise:

Experience & Track Record

• 8+ years of corporate and policy communications in an agency, in-house, or public administration setting
• Proven expertise managing communications on trust, crisis, policy, regulatory, and financial matters in a matrixed organization. Experience working in an international organization is a plus.
• Track record of managing external agency partners and media relations firms
• Experience navigating complex regulatory environments and translating policy into compelling narratives
• Proven ability to develop and execute crisis communication plans in real-time

Media Relations & Storytelling

• Expert knowledge of the German media landscape and established relationships with key journalists
• Flair for storytelling with experience creating press office stories and multi-channel campaigns that build reputation and trust
• Confident in advising internal teams on maximizing positive coverage and minimizing negative media cycles
• Ability to distill and articulate complex, nuanced policy topics for different audiences

Communication & Professional Skills

• Fluent English (spoken and written); German required at business level minimum
• Excellent writing skills—able to craft compelling narratives, precise Q&As, and strategic messaging
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills; comfort engaging with journalists, executives, and cross-functional stakeholders
• Can-do, proactive attitude with solutions-focused mindset; strong attention to detail and ability to deliver in fast-paced environments
• Maintains composure in high-pressure situations; awareness of German geopolitics and regulatory dynamics
• Understanding of reputation management and how to leverage data and insights to craft and proactively land data-driven stories in earned media and measure communications impact
