About the Role:

This position is pivotal in maintaining the high quality and integrity of our multilingual content. You will be responsible for editing, proofreading, and writing translations, back translations, and transcreations, meticulously adhering to spelling, grammar, consistency, and specific brand standards for each project. Your expertise will be crucial in communicating ideas clearly and effectively across both English and Spanish.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive copy editing and proofreading of English and Spanish content across diverse media, ensuring impeccable grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style.
• Write, translate, adapt, and transcreate copy from English to Spanish and vice versa, maintaining original intent, tone, and cultural appropriateness.
• Conduct thorough reviews of written text to identify and correct grammatical, typographical, and structural errors.
• Liaise closely with copywriters to determine the most effective communication strategies and messaging for various advertising materials.
• Stay current with grammatical developments, linguistic trends, and new terminologies in both English and Spanish, regularly consulting established style guides (e.g., Associated Press, Real Academia Española).
• Proactively communicate with copywriters to clarify inconsistencies related to style, terminology, and textual choices.
• Ensure all projects are completed accurately and efficiently within established timeframes and deadlines.
• Provide linguistic support and guidance to the Account Team when grammatical queries or doubts arise from clients.
• Contribute to broader creative efforts, which may include social media initiatives, content generation, participating in creative brainstorming sessions, and assisting with project execution.

Qualifications:

• Full, native-level command and fluency in both English and Spanish, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven strong copy editing and proofreading skills, with a sharp eye for detail and a deep understanding of language subtleties.
• Solid understanding of advertising terminology and the nuances of marketing copy.
• Proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Word and Excel, and experience with Translation Memory (TM) software (e.g., Wordfast).
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
• Strong understanding of tone, grammar, and style, ensuring every piece of content is polished, accurate, and aligned with the intended message.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

• Certified Translation Professional certification.

Summary: 

The BI Developer role goes beyond building dashboards.  It is responsible for transforming how Vertical Bridge consumes, understands, and acts on data. They will build, design and deliver analytics solutions across the Power BI and Databricks AI/BI platforms. These solutions will drive strategic decisions, enable self-service intelligence, and shift the organization from reactive reporting to proactive insight. The ideal candidate serves as both a business translator and technical architect. This role requires strong foundations in data modeling, DAX, M Query, and semantic layer design, as well as hands-on experience with Databricks AI/BI Dashboards, Genie-powered conversational analytics, and self-service enablement. You will partner closely with data engineers to build a governed, enterprise-wide data model (one version of truth) that allows all users to read from the same data playbook.

Job Functions: 

• Design and present data narratives that drive decision-making as well as build dashboards and reports that tell a clear story with a defined call to action
• Engage directly with operations, finance, leasing, and executive stakeholders to identify the right metrics and proactively retires or replaces solutions that are no longer answering the right question
• Design and maintain a governed, enterprise-wide semantic layer — a single source of truth that serves both Power BI reports and Genie conversational queries consistently
• Partner with data engineers to align Delta table structures, aggregations, and business logic to support scalable self-service analytics
• Provide technical guidance and support to the data teams, making architectural decisions, resolving technical challenges, and ensuring adherence to best practices and standards across both Power BI and Databricks AI/BI
• Demonstrate the ability to analyze complex situations, identify issues, and propose effective solutions to meet and exceed business requirements
• Apply statistical thinking and exploratory analysis techniques using Python, and SQL in Databricks notebooks. Identifies trends, anomalies, and correlations that traditional dashboards would not surface
• Implements strong quality assurance processes to maintain high standards of software quality, reliability, and performance upon delivery by the team.

 Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in business analytics and BI development, with a demonstrated ability to translate business problems into analytical solutions.
• Demonstrated experience with Power BI (M Query, DAX, Data Modelling, and Row-Level Security (RLS)), Microsoft Copilot and/or Databricks AI/BI Dashboards, and Genie for conversational analytics (Certifications a plus)
• Proven experience designing and maintaining a governed semantic layer or enterprise metrics framework.
• Experience driving self-service analytics adoption, including training and change management with business stakeholders.
• Proficiency in SQL and working knowledge of Python for exploratory analysis and statistical insight.
• Experience with Power BI Service administration, including workspace governance, deployment pipelines, and capacity management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrable statistical thinking ability.
• Excellent communication and storytelling abilities — able to present data narratives clearly to all levels of the organization.
• Experience with Azure cloud services, particularly Azure Databricks and related components.
• Knowledge of data integration and ETL processes using Apache Spark.

About the Role 

The Lead Technical Program Manager (TPM), Engineering is responsible for the management of the program information on behalf of the Air Vehicle Engineering Definition. This role will lead a team of TPMs to coordinate and deliver products on schedule and within budget. The role will work within the Program Management Office (PMO) to enable the integration and development of the Air Vehicle and monitor overall program progress. 

What You'll Do 

• Serve as an execution leader on behalf of the Engineering organization, establishing clarity, stability, and accountability across product development plans 
• Own the orchestration of engineering execution across the full program lifecycle, partnering with TPMs and Engineering work package owners to define, align, and sequence activities from requirements & concept development through design, manufacturing, testing, qualification, certification, and transition to production 
• Support supplier strategy and execution 
• Partner closely with the Chief Engineer as a thought partner and execution counterpart, jointly managing risks, issues, and opportunities with program metrics and decision-ready visibility 
• Define and enforce the PMO execution operating model — goals, deliverables, cadence, tools, and behaviors — ensuring consistency, discipline, and accountability across teams. 
• Anticipate resource and execution stress points, proactively identifying gaps across work packages and guiding leadership discussions to resolve them before they impact delivery.

Who You Are 

Education 

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering or other related field 

 Experience 

• A minimum of eight (8) years in technical program/project management role, preferably in the aviation industry 
• A minimum of ten (10) years of total experience (an equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered) 
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a formal or informal leadership position 
• Engineering experience throughout the product lifecycle, including composite materials and systems development and certification 
• Project management experience in complex aircraft structures development through design, testing, build, and qualification phases  
• Experience with MS Project, Primavera/P6, Jama, Jira and/or other project management tools

Otto Aerospace is currently a remote workplace. We will relocate to our permanent headquarters in Jacksonville, FL beginning in 2026. This role is expected to relocate at that time. This role will be required to travel 25% to meet at our temporary facility in Fort Worth, TX (prior to relocation) or other locations in support of program activities.
