- Project Management responsibilities that include conducting and managing all phases of a project from concept through all design phases, construction documentation, specification preparation, bidding, and construction administration.
- Coordinate and effectively communicate with people in other disciplines, with clients, and with jurisdiction reviewers and staff.
- Participate in marketing and business development activities by helping with proposal writing and interview presentations.
- Prepare renderings and graphics for projects.
- Mentor, manage and train Designers.
- Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture or related field of study
- Professional Landscape Architect (PLA) license in respective state.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Sketch Up and Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office and VantagePoint.
- Excellent graphic skills, both hand and computer generated.
- Knowledgeable of local jurisdiction and state permitting / approval processes.
- Knowledge of plant materials commonly used in the region.
- Project Management Experience.

- Efficiently prepare digital and hand drawings as needed to communicate master plan, design elements, and site features.
- Support in writing proposals, change orders and developing fee budgets.
- Create project plans and align project plans with project fee budget.
- Ensure legibility and clean communication of construction documents.
- Demonstrate consistent expertise in technical aspects of construction drawings.
- Provide preliminary internal Quality Control review of plans in coordination with project lead.
- Participate in and may lead client and regulatory review meetings.
- Prepare meeting minutes.
- Develop and/or assist in the development of written specifications.
- Advise client and team on next steps and ensure successful outcomes.
- Independently participate in CA activities.
- Ensure quality of planting design in regional context of the project.
- Execute accurate grading plan.
- Support and begin to lead the Design Studio to develop and advance creative design concepts for clients and projects.
- Support public outreach and collaboration efforts as required by project assignments.
- Conduct project research and precedent studies, ordinance review, and prepare site reviews and analyses.
- Efficiently prepare CAD documentation, project concept design packages, and construction documentation and permit drawing sets.
- Develop and demonstrate accuracy in drawing sets.
- Demonstrate the ability to consistently meet project goals and deadlines.
- Assist in editing technical written specifications.
- Build knowledge around plant materials and understand how to properly specify plant materials for planting schedules.
- Take initiative to explore current graphic standards and building construction methods.
- Build up knowledge of construction and best practices.
- Participate in construction phase services activities with the ability to undertake multiple size projects that range in complexity.
- Collaborate with internal design team of civil engineers, planners, contractors, and client’s consultant teams involved in the project.
- Represent LandDesign in design team meetings and speak confidently to project understanding.
- Participate in the development and enhancement of daily processes and practices in support of project efficiency.
- Train and mentor Designers I + II.
- Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture or related field of study.
- Actively pursuing or have achieved professional licensure.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Adobe Creative Suite and modeling programs such as Sketch-Up, Lumion etc. Microsoft Office Suite and VantagePoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Job Summary:
The Florida Panthers are looking for a craft-obsessed designer with a strong foundation in typography, layout, and logo/identity work. This role is for someone who sweats the details – kerning, hierarchy, mark-making – and brings that precision to every asset, from campaign systems to brand identity. Sports experience is a plus, but a genuine love for the craft matters more.
You’ll work directly with the Creative Director and creative team to develop and execute brand and campaign work across all platforms. You’ll be expected to contribute at a high level on type-driven layouts, identity systems, and multi-platform campaigns, and to help raise the bar across the team through both output and critique.
Portfolio required. Work that demonstrates type, layout, and identity chops will stand out. Applicants will not be considered without one.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Concept and execute brand and campaign work across social, OOH, digital, in-venue, and more;
- Contribute to logo and identity work for campaigns and brand initiatives (logomarks, wordmarks, and typographic systems);
- Own typography and layout decisions across assigned projects, setting a high bar for craft and consistency;
- Maintain and evolve Panthers brand standards across all executions in collaboration with creative, motion, and content teams;
- Support in-game and real-time social content needs as required;
- Provide constructive critique to elevate design quality and maintain creative standards;
Qualifications:
- 3–7+ years of graphic design experience; title commensurate with portfolio and experience;
- Strong typographic foundation – type selection, hierarchy, spacing, and layout are non-negotiable strengths;
- Demonstrated logo and identity work in portfolio – logomarks, wordmarks, or brand systems;
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with production across print and digital;
- Sports or entertainment experience is a plus, but passion for the craft matters more than the industry;
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment;
- Portfolio must include work demonstrating type, layout, and identity design
- Experience with motion graphics or 3D is a plus
- Must be currently living in, or willing to relocate to, South Florida, position is on-site
- Must be able to work flexible hours, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time, on-site, salaried position. Must be able to work flexible hours including nights , weekends and occassional holifdays as needed.
