YOUR ROLE
Lead scalable data engineering efforts that empower cross-functional teams with reliable, timely, and actionable data, ensuring Launch Potato’s analytics and business intelligence infrastructure fuels strategic growth.
OUTCOMES
- Build and optimize scalable, efficient ETL and data lake processes that proactively catch issues before they impact the business
- Own the ingestion, modeling, and transformation of structured and unstructured data to support reporting and analysis across all business units
- Partner closely with BI and Analytics to deliver clean, query-ready datasets that improve user acquisition, engagement, and revenue growth
- Maintain and enhance database monitoring, anomaly detection, and quality assurance workflows
- Serve as the internal point of contact for reporting infrastructure—delivering ad hoc data analyses and driving consistent data integrity
- Drive adoption and advancement of Looker dashboards by ensuring robust and scalable backend data support
- Contribute to the future of Launch Potato’s data team by mentoring peers and shaping a high-performance, quality-first engineering culture

Principales responsabilidades:

Analizar requerimientos de negocio y traducirlos en diseños de arquitectura de datos de alto y bajo nivel.

Diseñar y desplegar productos de datos alineados a estándares del Banco y buenas prácticas de arquitectura.

Definir arquitecturas eficientes para entornos On‑Premise y Cloud Big Data, asegurando performance y escalabilidad.

Implementar soluciones basadas en eventos, colas, streaming y procesamiento distribuido.

Establecer estándares y líneas base de diseño que soporten la estrategia de datos institucional.

Aplicar estrategias de testing orientado a datos para validar criterios de aceptación.

Proponer iniciativas de mejora continua para productos, procesos y habilitantes tecnológicos.

Comunicar conceptos técnicos de arquitectura de datos a stakeholders no técnicos.
Requerimientos:

Más de 5 años de experiencia en Arquitectura de Datos en entornos complejos.

Experiencia sólida en Big Data y arquitecturas Cloud.

Dominio de eventos, colas, streaming y Apache Spark (incluyendo optimización).

Experiencia con Data Products, Data Mesh y Data Governance.

Conocimiento avanzado en modelado de datos SQL y NoSQL.
- Experiencia en DataOps y/o MLOps.Manejo de PySpark y Scala.Experiencia en el sector financiero/bancario.

Inglés nivel intermedio.

Principales responsabilidades:
- Analizar la necesidad basado en definiciones y diseños recibidos.
- Participar en la etapa de diseño de Ingeniería de la solución con altos estándares de eficiencia y alineadas a la visión de Arquitectura de Datos.
- Desarrollo y despliegue de productos de datos como: ETLs, ELTs, APIs, que permitan disponibilizar información, observando estándares y herramientas provistas por banco así como buenas prácticas de Desarrollo (como Clean Code) que garanticen soluciones eficientes (en términos de consumo de recursos y tiempos de respuesta), efectivas, legibles y de fácil mantenimiento en el tiempo.
- Aplicar estrategias de validación que permitan verificar la correcta implementación de criterios funcionales y no funcionales.
- Aplicar procesos de mejora continua de los productos en desarrollo.
Requerimientos:
- Gestión de base de datos y experiencia en tareas de optimización de: Scripts, SPs y otros objetos destinados al tratamiento de datos.
- Modelamiento de bases de datos relacionales y no relacionales
- Experiencia en construcción de: Datawarehouse, Datamarts y Datalake.
- Familiaridad con los diferentes componentes y su interacción en tecnologías Cloud orientadas a soluciones Big Data.
- Construcción de ETLs, ELTs y gestión de información con grandes volúmenes de datos.
- Buenas prácticas y principios de desarrollo como Clean Code.
- Conocimiento de marcos de trabajo ágiles y estrategias DataOps
- Estrategias de testing orientado a Datos tanto para pruebas funcionales y como no funcionales.
- Formación en sistemas de ficheros distribuidos como Hadoop, HDFS o Spark.
- Procesamiento batch con tecnologías Big Data

- Optimizar y garantizar escalabilidad y repetibilidad de las soluciones.
- Liderar técnicamente al equipo, mentorizar a perfiles junior y asegurar calidad y buenas prácticas.
- Proponer iniciativas para desbloquear bloqueantes técnicos/procesales.
- Participar en roadmaps analíticos, monitoreo y despliegue de modelos (junto a Arquitectura).
Requerimientos:
- Experiencia en roles de Data Science / Modelado Analítico.
- Dominio avanzado en: Machine Learning, Deep Learning, estadística, econometría, probabilidad, clustering, etc.
- Manejo sólido de Big Data + SQL / NoSQL.
- Python (muy deseable PySpark), pipelines CI/CD, MLOps, cloud (Big Data).
- Conocimiento medio de CI/CD y calidad de datos.
- Habilidades clave: liderazgo técnico, comunicación efectiva (técnico → negocio), proactividad, orientación a resultados, trabajo en equipo
