YOUR MISSION

As a Senior Application Security Engineer, you will be instrumental in implementing and auditing security controls for mission-critical space systems that must meet stringent government compliance requirements. You will work at the intersection of security engineering, compliance frameworks (NIST 800-171/800-53), and modern cloud-native architectures to ensure our satellite mission control software and flight systems meet Department of Defense security standards.

You will design and implement application-level security controls including comprehensive audit logging, incident response capabilities, access controls, and security monitoring—all while working closely with product engineering teams to shift security to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Create security architecture documentation and operational security guides for government authorization processes
• Drive vulnerability management program with defined SLAs for remediation (30/90/180 days by severity)
• Perform security code reviews for Elixir, Python, C++, and JavaScript codebases
• Collaborate in the triage and management of security automations using SAST (CodeQL, Semgrep), SCA (JFrog Xray), and DAST tools
• Collaborate with engineering teams to address security findings and implement secure coding practices
• Develop and deliver security training to software engineers and systems administrators across the organization
• Create and manage incident response playbooks specific to application security events
• Evaluate and integrate third-party security solutions to enhance overall security capabilities

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in application security, product security, or security engineering
• Hands-on experience implementing security controls for compliance frameworks such as NIST 800-171, NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, or CMMC
• Strong software engineering skills with ability to write production-quality code in at least one language (Python, Rust, Elixir, C++, or similar)
• Experience with cloud security (Azure preferred, AWS or GCP acceptable)
• Solid understanding of secure architecture principles including:
• Threat modeling and risk assessment
• Authentication and authorization patterns (OAuth2, JWT, RBAC, ABAC)
• Cryptography and key management
• Defense-in-depth and Zero Trust principles
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with engineering teams to implement security controls without blocking velocity
• Eligible for DoD Secret or TS/SCI clearance

Preferred Skills:

• Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
• Direct experience with NIST 800-171 Rev 3 or NIST 800-53 implementation projects (gap analysis, control implementation, evidence collection)
• Experience with Department of Defense Impact Levels (IL2/IL4/IL5/IL6) or STIGs (Secure Technical Implementation Guides)
• Familiarity with Elixir/Erlang/Phoenix or other functional programming ecosystems (Scala, Haskell, F#, OCaml)
• Experience with Azure Government Cloud or other FedRAMP-authorized cloud environments
• Experience using Ghommit tool
• Background in DevSecOps or Platform Security Engineering:
• GitOps workflows and CI/CD security
• Infrastructure as Code security (Terraform, Bicep, Pulumi)
• Kubernetes security (Pod Security Standards, network policies, service mesh)
• Experience with security incident response including detection engineering and SOAR integration
• Familiarity with aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated industries (finance, healthcare, critical infrastructure)
• Previous experience in startups or fast-paced environments with ability to build processes from scratch
  
  

COMPENSATION

• Base Salary:  Long Beach - $150,000 to $205,000, Denver - $145,000 to $195,000

YOUR MISSION

As a Material Manager at True Anomaly, you will be a key contributor in executing our Supply Chain strategy. You will lead the movement, and control of materials and goods across the full supply chain lifecycle — from inbound logistics through internal material flow to final delivery of flight hardware to our customers and launch sites. You will own the development, documentation, and continuous improvement of inventory, material movement, and logistics processes, acting as a strategic advocate across the business. This role requires a hands-on leader who can design scalable systems, drive cross-functional alignment, and take full ownership of material and service requirements from sourcing through delivery. We are looking for a reliable problem solver who identifies issues proactively and builds lasting solutions. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure all material handling equipment is operated safely and that the warehouse and logistics environment meets safety and regulatory standards 
• Own and manage end-to-end inventory operations, including receiving, storage, picking, and fulfillment of aerospace parts and components 
• Own and manage inbound and outbound logistics operations, including carrier selection, routing, freight coordination, and import/export compliance for aerospace components and flight hardware 
• Manage and mentor inventory and logistics team members, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback 
• Develop and enforce inventory control policies and procedures to ensure accuracy, traceability, and compliance with aerospace industry standards 
• Lead cycle counting programs and conduct periodic physical inventory audits; analyze variances and implement corrective actions 
• Establish and track key inventory metrics (e.g., fill rate, inventory turns, accuracy rate) and drive continuous improvement initiatives 
• Develop and maintain material movement procedures that ensure safe, traceable, and efficient handling of components across all facilities and external sites (suppliers, test sites, launch sites) 
• Establish and manage a kitting and staged-delivery process that aligns material flow to production schedules and program milestones 
• Coordinate transportation of sensitive, high-value, or hazardous materials in accordance with applicable regulations (e.g., ITAR, DOT, IATA) 
• Maintain documentation and chain-of-custody records for all material movements to support traceability and audit readiness 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education; Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or a related field preferred 
• 7+ years of experience in inventory management, logistics, or supply chain operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role 
• Working knowledge of logistics regulations, including ITAR, DOT hazmat shipping requirements, and import/export compliance 
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy 
• Proficiency with WMS, ERP systems, or inventory/logistics management software 
• Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods 
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills  
• Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment 
• Understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing, warehouse, and transportation setting 
• Previous experience with aerospace components or high-value, sensitive materials 

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• APICS CPIM, CSCP, or CLTD certification (or actively working toward certification) 
• Familiarity with AS9100 quality management standards 
• Experience in the aerospace, defense, or similarly regulated manufacturing industry 
• Experience supporting flight hardware programs, launch operations, or government/defense contracts 
• Demonstrated success implementing or improving inventory and logistics systems and processes from the ground up 
• Familiarity with hazardous materials handling and shipping compliance (DOT/IATA) 
• Experience with ITAR-controlled hardware logistics and associated documentation requirements

YOUR MISSION

As an Inventory Clerk at True Anomaly, you will be a key contributor to executing our Supply Chain strategy. This role will support the team in planning of procurement, inspection, and production tasks for goods and services necessary to deliver flight hardware to orbit. This role will also support the development, documentation, and continuous improvement of production and material related processes and act as an advocate across the business. This role will require someone who wants to dig in, design the processes, and own material and service requirements through delivery. We are looking for a reliable problem solver, someone who can demonstrate the ability to identify issues and develop scalable solutions. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accurately pick aerospace parts and components from inventory locations based on sales order specifications and pick lists 
• Verify part numbers, quantities, and descriptions against order requirements to prevent errors 
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and/or ERP systems to track inventory and order status 
• Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks, forklifts - if applicable, specify training requirements) safely and efficiently to retrieve and move materials 
• Conduct visual inspections of components for damage or defects during the picking process and report any discrepancies 
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the picking area. 
• Collaborate with the packaging and shipping teams to ensure a smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment 
• Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and aerospace industry regulations 
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle counting as needed 
• May assist with other shipping department duties, such as packing or labeling, when required 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education 
• Experience in the aerospace or similar highly regulated manufacturing industry is a significant plus 
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy is essential 
• Ability to read and interpret sales orders, part numbers, and product specifications

COMPENSATION
