As a Customer Support Agent, you will be helping businesses across the India Operations to become success stories every day. You’ll love talking to people and have an empathetic nature along with a passion for solving customer problems. You will play a key part in helping Tide expand by providing around the clock support, every day of the year. Some of the things you’ll be doing:
- Spotting patterns is second nature to you, and you’re always ready to highlight areas that can be improved
- Juggling priorities to ensure that members get the best support experience
- Getting to grips with tough banking challenges like unfamiliar transactions, missing payments, and direct debits
- Enjoy helping mentor new members of the team, and support them with your wisdom and experience and help out with common back office tasks
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Excellent spoken and written English skills
- You have 1-4 years of experience as a customer support associate
- You understand and have worked with customer satisfaction metrics
- You can attend to all the customer queries, comments and concern posted to the company social media platform
- You can review all social media posts for accuracy
- Ability to use industry tools like Kustomer, Zendesk, GSuite, and Jira
- You are confident talking with our customers to help them get the most from their current account
- Passion for problem-solving and finding solutions to difficult situations
- You are always on the lookout for recurring issues and help create new workflows to solve them
- Strong organisational skills
- Experience working in customer service for the finance industry
- Excellent computer skills
- You have some experience working in startups

ABOUT THE ROLE
Be at the forefront of the AI revolution, working on cutting-edge projects that shape the future of financial services. You’ll join a passionate team focused on building high-quality, scalable products with real-world impact.
We’re looking for a Staff-level Backend Engineer (AI) to bridge robust backend systems with Generative AI. You’ll design the frameworks, standards, and platforms that allow AI capabilities to scale securely, reliably, and efficiently across the enterprise, going beyond feature delivery to influence long-term technical direction.
As a Staff Engineer you’ll:
- Build core services for Tide’s agentic platform, including APIs, workflow orchestration, and tool integration
- Integrate bought components where they accelerate delivery, and build where control, trust, and reuse matter most
- Work with product, data, platform, and security teams to productionise shared AI capabilities
- Design services that are reliable, secure, observable, and easy for other teams to adopt
- Help shape reusable engineering patterns for AI-enabled workflows
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Strong backend or platform engineering experience in production environments.
- Good judgement across APIs, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and service design.
- Experience integrating internal and third-party platforms.
- Comfort working in ambiguity and turning emerging needs into robust platform components.
- Strong focus on quality, reliability, and developer usability.
- Experience with AI infrastructure or orchestration is helpful, but not essential.
- Experience in highly regulated industries (Fintech, Healthtech, etc.) where safety and compliance are core to the product is valuable, but not essential.
- Design and build automated evaluation pipelines to measure agent reasoning accuracy and safety trajectories
Our Tech Stack:
- Java, Spring Boot and JOOQ to build the RESTful APIs of our microservices (but we welcome people who are used to any strongly typed general purpose programming language!)
- Event-driven architecture with messages over SNS+SQS and Kafka to make them reliable
- Primary datastores are MySQL and PostgreSQL via RDS or Aurora (we are heavy AWS users)
- Docker, Terraform, EKS used by the Cloud team to run the platform
- DataDog and Rollbar to keep it running
- GitHub with Sonarcloud, Semgrep and solid testing to power the CI/CD pipelines - new joiners are encouraged to have something deployed to production in their first 2 weeks
- Angular 2+ with ngrx on Web, Flutter for the Mobile App
- Fivetran/Snowflake/Looker for the BI insights and Python/Faust/Flask/Tecton + some ML libs for the automated decisioning and risk management

ABOUT THE ROLE:
Tide is hiring a Senior Staff Software Engineer to lead the architecture of our agentic platform. You will shape the shared capabilities that allow AI systems to operate safely, reliably, and at scale across Tide. That includes context, orchestration, tool execution, trust controls, observability, and evaluation. You will participate in key build versus buy decisions, integrate external components where they accelerate us, and ensure we own the parts that matter most for Tide’s trust, data advantage, and long-term platform leverage.
As a Senior Staff Engineer you’ll:
- Define the architecture for Tide’s agentic platform
- Drive the design of shared services such as context APIs, tool layers, policy controls, and auditability
- Partner with product, data, security, and engineering teams to turn use cases into reusable platform capabilities
- Set standards for reliability, safety, scalability, and developer experience
- Provide technical leadership across teams and unblock critical decisions
- Implement cost-management and routing logic to optimize LLM spend across different providers
- Design and build automated evaluation pipelines to measure agent reasoning accuracy and safety trajectories
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Deep experience building platform or infrastructure systems at scale
- Strong judgement across APIs, distributed systems, data, and cloud-native architecture
- Track record of leading complex cross-team technical problems
- Experience integrating third-party platforms without losing control of core architecture
- Strong understanding of reliability, security, and observability

As part of DataDome’s European technical support team, you will have a direct impact and daily interaction with clients such as Tripadvisor, Pokemon, ZocDoc, just to name a few.
This is an ideal opportunity to work with a variety of clients in their usage and adoption of DataDome’s platform, while simultaneously developing your knowledge and skill sets relating to cloud software, cybersecurity, and AI. As the Technical Support Engineer, you will be in charge of things like...
- Proactively monitoring customers’ exchanges and responding to support tickets while leveraging your expertise and knowledge of our solution and implementation phases.
- Informing our customers on how to get the most out of their DataDome products and services, respond to requests in a timely and precise manner, and be the point of contact to resolve customer issues related to DataDome products and services.
- Continuously developing your expertise and understanding of our solution, the implementation lifecycle, our bot detection process, as well as our dashboard functionalities through training, hands-on testing, sessions via our Learning & Development platform.
- Answer customers’ technical questions, while informing them and our internal global teams (Customer Success & Engineering) about your findings, meeting or exceeding service-level agreements (SLAs), and escalating ticket requests.
- Participating in an on-call rotation to provide to support our 24/7 support model
- Collaborating and exchanging with our global Threat Research team and cybersecurity experts on a daily basis, while simultaneously contributing to protecting and reducing fraudulent online traffic - basically this is what being a Datadomer is all about!
It would be great if...
- You have at least 2 years of relevant work experience in technical support, product support, or a similar customer-facing technical role
- You have experience supporting B2B cloud software
- You are self-driven, curious, an eager learner, at ease working autonomous and highly motivated
- You are a team player and enjoy interacting with global teams
- You are a customer-driven individual, who is excited to work and solve technical challenges in a rewarding environment alongside great people
- Technical and functional understanding of website hosting and architecture, mobile application, and how the internet works (architecture, components, flows, OSI Layers)
