ABOUT THE JOB
We're seeking a full stack Security Software Engineer to develop novel security tooling for securing our suite of products including and detecting potential cybersecurity issues across embedded Linux systems and Android devices. The ideal candidate can develop across the the full stack - from Linux eBPF programs to cloud backends and everything in between.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Design and develop cybersecurity tools for embedded Linux and Android systems.
- Build and maintain backend services with REST APIs running on cloud platforms.
- Create user-friendly frontends using React and TypeScript.
- Manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and/or AWS CDK.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify security needs and implement solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to security best practices.
- Stay updated on the latest security threats and technologies.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of software development experience in some combination of Golang, Rust, Kotlin, and TypeScript.
- Proficiency in implementing application backends, including authorization, observability, REST APIs, and NoSQL data persistence.
- Strong experience with frontend development using React and TypeScript.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure management (Terraform and/or AWS CDK).
- Experience in mobile development, specifically on Android platforms.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
- Ability to obtain and hold a U.S. Secret security clearance.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with embedded systems and Linux.
- Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards.
- Experience with Linux observability and eBPF.
- Experience with CI/CD and test automation, including for mobile devices.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

ABOUT THE JOB
We are looking for a talented full stack software engineer to join our growing team at Anduril Labs in Washington, DC. As a full stack software engineer in Anduril Labs, you will help bring innovative, next-generation concepts to life through proof-of-concept development and rapid prototyping using bleeding edge technologies.
The ideal candidate has exceptional software development and creative problem-solving skills, is a self-starter, and can quickly grasp complex concepts. As a full stack software engineer, you possess the skills to architect, develop, and deploy distributed applications and services, including both front-end and back-end components. You have experience with agile, end-to-end software development lifecycle and are comfortable developing and deploying code across Windows and Linux-based systems (including standalone bare-metal hardware, virtualized environments, and cloud-hosted platforms). Embedded software development experience is a plus. You are also proficient in integrating legacy code and systems, leveraging open-source technologies, and developing and utilizing APIs. Additionally, you have a solid understanding of AI/ML core concepts (e.g., feature extraction, supervised vs. unsupervised learning, regression, classification, clustering, deep learning neural networks, NLP, LLMs, SLMs, model fine-tuning, prompt engineering, RAG) and hands-on experience developing (Gen)AI-enhanced applications or services.
We also expect candidates to have familiarity with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, Graph DB, Vector DB) and experience with data modeling, data wrangling, analytics, and visualization. Since Anduril Labs supports all Anduril businesses and product lines, you will have the unique opportunity to work closely with multi-disciplinary engineering and product development teams across the entire company. WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Lead the development of prototypes to demonstrate advanced concepts in areas like autonomous and multi-agent systems, GenAI, advanced data analytics, quantum computing/sensing/networking/comms/machine learning, modeling, simulation, optimization, visualization, next-gen human-machine interfaces, heterogenous computing, and cybersecurity.
- Own the entire Software Development Lifecycle from inception through development, testing, deployment, and documentation for Anduril Labs-developed software prototypes.
- Interface and collaborate with other Anduril and customer engineering teams, and strategic partners.
- Support Anduril- and customer-funded R&D efforts.
- Participate in field experiments and technology demonstrations.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of programming with Python, C++, Java, Rust, Go, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Proven software architecture and design skills.
- Ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and established codebases.
- AI/ML development using commercial and open-source AI frameworks, models, and tools (e.g., Jupyter Notebook, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Llama, LangChain, YOLO, AWS Sagemaker, Bedrock, Azure AI, RAG).
- Web app development (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue).
- Cloud development (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Data modeling and wrangling.
- Networking basics (e.g., DNS, TCP/IP vs. UDP, socket communications, LDAP, Active Directory)
- Database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, Graph DB, Vector DB).
- API development and integration (e.g., REST, GraphQL).
- Containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Software development on Linux and Windows.
- Demonstrable hands-on experience using GenAI tools (e.g., OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, Gemini Code Assist, GitHub Copilot, Amazon CodeWhisperer, or similar) for software development, code generation, debugging, and algorithmic exploration.
- Experience with Git version control, build tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Demonstrated understanding and application of software testing principles and practices, including unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing.
- Strong problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance

About the position:
The Netskope Solutions Engineer will come on board with the full support of the executive team. This is an amazing opportunity for the sales professional who has a history of completely dominating their territory and who wants to make an impact on building the next iconic cloud security company.
You will work closely with customers and partners as your primary point of contact for feedback and resolution of issues and will be the customers’ advocate for issues that require assistance from the HQ Support team. You will provide feedback to the Product Management team on new feature requests and product enhancements from your customer base. Heavy travel within the territory is required and as necessary to support other company-based engagements within the US.
This is a highly impactful role – You will have a compelling opportunity to impact the business and advance your career.
Responsibilities include:
- Objective #1 is to exceed our sales targets.
- Articulate the high-level benefits of Netskope's architecture to our target audiences (typically senior security management up to CISO and CIO).
- Construct best practices for presentations, demos, and Proof of Concept/Value exercises as well as overall win strategy.
- Take an active role in your regions customer success and help resolve any customer satisfaction issues, escalating cross functionally when needed.
- Understand the customer need and establish company's product as the best solution that addresses that customer requirement and provides business value
- Present the Netskope cloud security solution to prospective customers
- Create and deliver demonstrations of the products
- Gather customer technical requirements
- Work trade shows as necessary
- Provide insight on competitive solutions and differentiate between them
- Create evaluation test plans with customers and partners and managing the evaluation process to a successful conclusion
- Lead Proof-of-Concepts (POCs)
- Present at Conferences and Seminars
- Respond effectively to RFIs/RFPs
Job Requirements:
- 7+ years of relevant experience as a Solutions/System Engineer with a proven track record and demonstrable skills at presenting technical information at the business executive level or at the architect level
- Strong empathy for customers AND passion for revenue and growth.
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills ranging from tech level up to senior executives. Comfortable in public speaking and presenting to both internal and external executive audiences.

- Demonstrable experience with systems installation, configuration and administration Linux, MacOS and Windows-based systems
- Proficient in mobile device technologies (MDM/MAM) and OS such as Android and iOS
- Knowledge of certificates, key management systems, HSM and related protocols
- Proven hands-on experience with information security solutions such as Web Proxy, NGFW, Security Gateways, working with remote access and site to site VPN technologies, SAML/SSO, DLP, Data security and understand but also write regex expressions
- Experience working with Cloud Identity Providers, SCIM, SIEM, SOAR, EDR and SD-WAN Deployments and Integrations
- Experience working with Active Directory Services including ADFS, working knowledge of Azure AD is desired
- Experience working with Public cloud environments (AWS, Azure and GCP)
- Working knowledge of the broader threat landscape and the ability to distill technology trends, and explain complex behaviors in simple terms
- Travel - within region. Experience working in and selling cloud-based technologies (SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS).
Desire:
- Demonstrable experience with scripting languages such as Python, and REST API framework.
- Prior experience with other vendor Cloud Security solutions is advantageous.
- Strong security skills that would include hands-on experience with Bluecoat, Symantec, McAfee, Checkpoint, Cisco, Juniper along with other appropriate certifications (e.g. CISSP, CCSK, CCSP, CCSE, GCFW, PCNSE, JNCIS-SEC/JNCIP-ENT, GCIH, etc).
- Agile Scrum Certification: CSPO, CSM, or CSP | Project Management Certification: PMP
- Advanced level network technology certifications (e.g. CCNP, CCIE, CCSP, JNCIE, etc).

- Relevant Bachelor’s degree; preference for computer science or related degrees

Compensation:
At Netskope, salary is one component of our competitive total rewards package. The salary range for this position is as listed below. This is a national range. For purposes of complying with applicable laws, the range applies to candidates in California, Colorado, Illinois, Maryland, New York, Washington, and other states.
The successful candidate’s starting pay will also be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, location, and market conditions.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the On Target Earnings (OTE) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target commission amount at 100% goal achievement.
In addition to salary, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus plan (for non-sales roles) and a stock award program. Candidates may also be eligible for a comprehensive health plan and other benefits that can be reviewed at Netskope Benefits site.
