WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Design, train, and deploy computer vision and perception models for edge-
compatible, mission-critical environments - Build multi-sensor perception systems that fuse imagery, video, and other sensor
data into coherent views of the battlefield - Improve the fidelity, accuracy, and robustness of Lattice's understanding of objects,
activities, and environments across varied operational conditions - Integrate state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms into production systems used
by customers in real-world scenarios - Develop mission-relevant evaluation frameworks, datasets, and benchmarks to
measure perception performance in the field - Partner closely with software, autonomy, product, and deployment teams to turn
research ideas into operational capabilities - Identify new perception and battlefield-understanding problems where advances in
computer vision can unlock major product impact
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Machine
Learning, or a related technical field - 5+ years of experience developing computer vision, perception, or machine learning
systems in production or advanced research settings - Strong experience with deep learning, object detection, and object tracking
frameworks - Strong programming skills in Python, with the ability to build reliable research and
production workflows - Strong desire to invent, implement, test, and deploy novel techniques that vastly
improve upon state-of-the-art public methods to solve research problem specific to
the defense space - Experience training, evaluating, and iterating on vision models for detection, tracking,
segmentation, classification, or sensor fusion tasks - Experience deploying or optimizing ML systems for constrained, real-time, or edge
compute environments - Ability to work across the full lifecycle of applied ML, from problem formulation and
data strategy through deployment and performance monitoring - Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Advanced degree with a focus on computer vision, perception, robotics, or machine
learning - Experience with multi-modal or multi-sensor fusion systems
- Experience deploying deep learning models to embedded, edge, or air-gapped
environments - Familiarity with real-time perception systems for autonomous platforms, defense
applications, or other safety-critical systems - Experience building large-scale datasets, labeling pipelines, or benchmarking

Role Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior RF Geolocation Engineer to lead the development of advanced passive RF geolocation capabilities for our electromagnetic warfare product line. This role is focused on deriving, implementing, and validating high-performance localization solutions that enable CHAOS’s distributed systems to detect, characterize, and geolocate non-cooperative RF emitters in complex environments. The engineer will contribute across the full algorithm lifecycle, from first-principles formulation and high-fidelity modeling through software integration, calibration, field demonstration, and validation, and will collaborate closely with Business Development, Production, and cross-functional Engineering teams.
Responsibilities:
As a key contributor to the Spectrum Sensing Team, the Senior RF Geolocation Engineer will help redefine our spectrum sensing capabilities around high-confidence passive geolocation. The day-to-day will be diverse, hands-on, and highly technical, with direct impact on next-generation distributed sensing products. The engineer will:
- Design and derive advanced passive RF geolocation algorithms from first principles, with emphasis on TDOA, FDOA, and hybrid geolocation architectures across distributed sensor networks
- Develop coherent and non-coherent passive geolocation and imaging approaches, including phase-aligned multi-node processing for interferometric performance and robust envelope-based localization methods
- Apply statistical signal detection frameworks, including Neyman-Pearson, Bayesian, and CFAR methodologies, to maximize probability of detection across varying noise, interference, and target conditions
- Apply estimation and detection theory, including maximum likelihood estimation, error bound analysis, and linear algebraic methods, to formulate robust and analytically defensible localization solutions
- Model, simulate, and mitigate real-world nonidealities such as oscillator phase noise, timing jitter, calibration error, uncertain sensor geometry, and low-SNR operating conditions
- Develop, implement, and refine software for passive geolocation, emitter localization, and RF scene analysis using Python, MATLAB, C++, or related languages
- Translate mathematically intensive algorithms into efficient real-time implementations on DSP, GPU, or other accelerated compute architectures as system needs require
- Build high-fidelity simulation environments to evaluate geolocation accuracy, sensitivity, error budgets, and system tradeoffs before deployment
- Partner with hardware and systems engineers to define RF front-end and timing requirements by quantifying their effect on end-to-end geolocation performance
- Support algorithm integration, system calibration, test planning, and field validation in representative operational environments
- Clearly document algorithm assumptions, derivations, performance limits, and test results for internal stakeholders and external customers
- This role will require periodic travel, up to 30%.
Minimum Requirements:
- B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field
- 5+ years of relevant experience developing RF signal processing, estimation, or geolocation algorithms
- Strong foundation in statistical and time-domain signal processing, detection and estimation theory, backpropagation, and applied linear algebra
- Demonstrated experience developing passive RF geolocation algorithms, such as TDOA, FDOA, multilateration, direction finding, interferometry, or hybrid localization methods
- Experience applying rigorous detection frameworks such as Neyman-Pearson, Bayesian inference, CFAR, or related methods to noisy and contested RF environments
- Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, C++, or similar languages for modeling, simulation, and implementation of signal processing algorithms
- Experience evaluating algorithm performance under real-world impairments, including low SNR, synchronization error, sensor geometry uncertainty, or interference
- Ability to translate theoretical models into practical software suitable for integration with RF/SDR hardware and production code bases
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly document technical approaches, assumptions, and performance results
- Must be able to work on-site 3-5 days per week in Hawthorne, CA or Washington, D.C.

Dexis is currently seeking a Force Development Aviation Division (FDV) - Army Aviation Staff Synchronization Officer (SSO) for a contract to support the Deputy Chief of Staff (DCS of the General Staff -8 (G8) in support of the Director of Material. The purpose of this effort is to provide the DCS G-8, Force Development Directorates with dedicated analytic subject matter expertise and programmatic support in force development processes, analysis, integration, information and tactical data systems, force modernization, and the equipment fielding process needed to support the Army's mission.
The highly qualified Force Development Intelligence Division – Intelligence Systems Staff Synchronization Officer (SSO) to support the Army Aviation programs. They will leverage experience servicing in Army aviation units to provide recommendations to optimize resources and enhance equipment and modernization. They will conduct analysis of aviation communications, mission command and planning, air traffic control systems, and ensure full compliance with applicable regulations.
This position is based in the NCR at a client location. The position is subject to client approval and contract award.
Responsibilities
- Support Headquarters Department of the Army (HQDA) G8 in synchronizing aviation capabilities with broader Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of the Army objectives.
- Provide budget formulation, execution, and analysis to optimizing resource allocation that enhance aviation equipping and modernization.
- Manage a budget portfolio encompassing aviation communications, mission command, mission planning, and fixed-based Air Traffic Control systems, ensuring full compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Apply proficiency in the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process to optimize resource allocation and support aviation equipping and modernization initiatives.
- Conduct in-depth cost data analysis, identifying key trends, and recommended actionable cost-saving measures.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration with diverse stakeholders across the Army Aviation enterprise.
Qualifications
- Service in Army aviation units from company to brigade level.
- Bachelor's degree(s) in: operations research, applied mathematics, statistics, engineering (Systems or Industrial), and/or computer science.
- Minimum of 10 years relevant experience.
- Active Secret Clearance.
- At least three years' experience managing Army Acquisition Category (ACAT) II and/or III Programs.
- Demonstrated familiarity with the types of equipment used in aviation units.
- Demonstrated familiarity with the Army Aviation modernization roadmap and key acquisition programs, informing budgetary decisions.
- Demonstrated experience in using the tools of operations research, specifically the application of systems analysis, simulation & optimization, probability and statistics, data and mathematical analysis during a project.

Responsibilities
The Senior Data Management Consultant will support DSCA and the Dexis team to analyze business management services; keeping up to date with emerging business management and data management techniques, tools, and approaches; identifying and maintaining new open-source data sources on security cooperation; and visualizing and summarizing data to effectively inform decision-making. Specific responsibilities include:
- Provide strategic advisory support across business management services to enhance DSCA’s use of data for operational planning, policy development, program evaluation, and decision-making.
- Identify, research, and assess various open-source and classified data platforms—including government databases, repositories, and academic sources—relevant to security cooperation.
- Develop criteria to evaluate the utility, relevance, and quality of collected data and its sources; apply this evaluation framework consistently across platforms.
- Design and implement scalable, efficient data storage and management systems that enable organized retrieval, version control, and routine updates using appropriate tools such as cloud solutions and databases.

- Guide and support Knowledge Management (KM) efforts across the contract by coordinating stakeholder inputs and developing tools that promote data-driven learning and institutional memory.

- 10+ years of experience in change management, business reform, data science, or policy analysis, including delivery of high-impact products to senior leaders.
- Experience conducting research and literature reviews to identify knowledge gaps or methodological inconsistencies.
- Experience creating data documentation such as codebooks and analytical protocols.
- Experience applying social science methods to evaluate and refine analytical deliverables.
- Experience in open-source data related to security cooperation, defense policy, or international security.
- Proficiency in STATA, R, or Python, along with strong Excel and database management skills.
- Experience building and presenting executive-level briefings, dashboards, and visual analytics to inform strategic decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical insights into practical recommendations.
- Active secret clearance.
