We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst who will play a key role within the Operations, Governance, and Control team by gathering, analysing, and documenting data requirements to support the delivery of a centralised, self-service data platform across all business divisions, while assuming responsibility for existing data reporting and operational support activities. The role will have significant responsibility within the Data Strategy initiatives, including leading the end-to-end migration, reconciliation, and validation of five critical data domains to ensure business reporting requirements are successfully transitioned and aligned with business needs. In parallel, the position will contribute to foundational Data Strategy enablers, such as Master Data Management (MDM), data lineage, data cataloguing, and governance artefacts - essential to achieving sustainable, scalable, and compliant self-service analytics. The Technical Business Analyst will also produce high-quality documentation and actionable reports and dashboards to support informed, data-driven decision-making across program teams and senior leadership. This is a hybrid opportunity of working 2 days from office & 3 days from home & shift starting from 7AM.

Your EDGE Assignment/You Will

• Gather, analyse, and document data and reporting requirements across business divisions to support delivery of a centralised, self-service data platform.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineering, and tech ops teams to translate business needs into clear, traceable technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria, using Jira and Azure DevOps, ensuring alignment with agile delivery cycles.
• Lead requirements, planning, and validation activities for the end-to-end migration, reconciliation, and testing of five critical data domains, ensuring reporting continuity and alignment with business needs.
• Maintain ownership of existing data reporting and operational support activities, promptly identifying and resolving reporting or data quality issues.
• Document current and future state processes, data flows, and governance standards, ensuring clear, accessible, and version-controlled documentation.
• Contribute to foundational Data Strategy initiatives, including Master Data Management (MDM), data lineage, data cataloguing, and governance artefact development.
• Ensure all data initiatives align with organisational data governance, security, privacy, and compliance requirements.
• Support testing and validation activities, including UAT preparation, issue tracking, and verification of migrated and newly developed data solutions.
• Monitor project progress, dependencies, and risks, proactively escalating issues and recommending solutions to maintain delivery timelines.
• Prepare and present high-quality reports and dashboards using Power BI (proficient in DAX and SQL) to provide actionable insights for program teams and senior leadership.
• Demonstrate flexibility to support team priorities as needed, readily pivoting to assist across tasks and initiatives.
• Take accountability and ownership for deliverables, working independently without close supervision while actively collaborating and contributing to team success.

Are you the one?

• 10+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst, preferably in data-driven and product-based environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI and DAX, including building dashboards, reporting solutions, and translating business insights into actionable data.
• Proficiency in Databricks and SQL for data analysis, querying, and supporting analytics and reporting initiatives.
• Hands-on experience using Confluence for documentation, collaboration, and knowledge management.
• Demonstrated expertise in technical documentation, including requirement gathering, user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.
• Experience leading UAT activities, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring successful delivery of business outcomes.
• Solid knowledge of data governance and data management practices, including MDM, RBAC/ABAC, PII compliance, data lineage, and cataloging.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
• Strong documentation, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, deliver in fast-paced environments, and work independently.

The Pipeline Operations first-line team proactively monitors exceptions based on timeliness and data quality in a top-down manner, alongside managing our clients’ ever-changing priorities and corresponding queries. As an associate analyst, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day tasks focused on client service delivery related to Benchmark and Index solutions. You must ensure that your deliverables meet both client SLA requirements and team goals. Additionally, you will work with your team to deliver projects and help enhance workflow and procedures.  

Key Responsibilities  

BAU Management 

• Perform BAU activities with strong familiarity and adherence to existing protocols for Query and Exception Management. 

• Apply standard workflows to independently resolve simple queries. 

• Understand the logic behind product settings and replicate verification steps to identify and resolve failures. 

• Monitor alert timelines and accurately capture delay delivery.  

• Maintain consistent quality in task execution, aligned with internal BAU expectations.  

SLA Management 

• Provide timely updates for SLA‑bound client requests. 

• Ensure all activities meet agreed client turnaround expectations.
