About the Role

As a Cloud Azure Security Engineer, you’ll help secure cloud environments by designing, implementing, and maintaining security solutions across Azure infrastructure, applications, and data. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to assess risk, strengthen cloud security posture, and support clients in adopting scalable, compliant, and resilient security practices.

Responsibilities

• Assess the security posture of Microsoft Azure environments to identify vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and compliance gaps
• Design, implement, and maintain cloud security controls and protective measures across infrastructure, applications, and data
• Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures aligned with regulatory requirements and organizational goals
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable cloud security controls
• Conduct regular security audits, reviews, and assessments to validate adherence to established policies
• Provide guidance to engineering and operations teams on security best practices and remediation strategies
• Support the implementation and management of Azure-native security services such as Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Sentinel, Azure Firewall, and Azure Active Directory
• Automate security processes and controls using tools and scripting languages such as Terraform, GitHub Actions, PowerShell, Python, and Azure CLI
• Monitor emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends in cloud security and incorporate findings into security practices
• Participate in incident response efforts and assist in the investigation and resolution of security incidents
• Other duties as assigned

About You

Qualifications & Skills

• 2+ years of relevant work experience in cloud security engineering with a focus on Microsoft Azure
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• Strong knowledge of Azure security services including Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Sentinel, Azure Firewall, and Azure Active Directory
• Experience with Terraform, GitHub Actions, and containerized environments
• Hands-on scripting and automation experience using PowerShell, Python, and/or Azure CLI
• Solid understanding of network security, encryption, identity and access management, and cloud security best practices
• Familiarity with implementing and managing security control policies in Azure environments
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, CCSP, or similar are preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• English proficiency at B2 level

Your role

You will act hands-on cybersecurity specialist responsible for the operation and evolution of the Cyber SOC across Chile and Colombia. This is a highly operational role focused on incident response, threat detection and continuous security improvement. 

• Manage the daily operation and monitoring of the Cyber SOC across multiple countries
• Analyze SIEM alerts and manage critical security incidents (Level 3)
• Perform threat hunting activities and proactively identify emerging risks
• Operate and optimize security tools: SIEM, EDR, WAF, IPS, Antivirus
• Participate in war rooms and crisis response for high-impact incidents
• Automate repetitive tasks and enhance detection capabilities
• Develop Proofs of Concept (POCs) to strengthen regional cybersecurity capabilities
• Design SIEM use cases, correlation rules, and detection strategies
• Collaborate with cross-functional and regional teams without direct reports
• Contribute to building a scalable Cyber SOC model across LATAM

Who You Are

• 5+ years of experience in Information Security
• 2-3 years of strong hands-on experience in SOC operations, Blue Team, or Incident Response (L3)
• Proven experience working with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, ELK, Wazuh, etc.)
• Solid knowledge of EDR, vulnerability scanners, firewalls, and network security tools
• Experience with frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls
• Strong understanding of MITRE ATT&CK, OWASP, Zero Trust principles
• Hands-on mindset: autonomous, proactive, analytical, and solution-oriented
• Experience with scripting/automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell) is a plus
• Experience in regulated or critical environments is a plus
• Certifications such as CEH, Security+, GCIH, or similar are a plus
• English level: B2

Kaseya is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Technical Support Engineer to join our Global Support Organization, supporting Datto EDR and Antivirus (AV) solutions. This role is responsible for delivering world-class technical assistance to partners and customers by troubleshooting endpoint detection, threat actioning, and antivirus-related issues in dynamic IT environments

We are looking for a professional who has hands-on experience supporting EDR solutions (preferably Datto EDR), including agent deployment and lifecycle management, health and communication troubleshooting, and alert investigation. Strong understanding of AV, AM, EDR, and MDR concepts, and how Datto EDR differs from traditional antivirus. Proven ability to analyze malware, ransomware, and suspicious behavior alerts, distinguish true vs. false positives, manage endpoint isolation and recovery, resolve policy or firewall conflicts, and validate ransomware rollback and recovery outcomes.

The ideal candidate combines strong endpoint security knowledge with excellent communication skills and a passion for helping customers succeed.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide second/ third level technical support for Datto EDR and AV solutions via phone, chat, and ticketing systems to our partners across the globe
• Troubleshoot endpoint detection, antivirus protection, policy configuration, agent deployment, and remediation workflows
• Investigate security alerts, behavioral detections, and threat events to assist customers in resolving incidents
• Analyze logs, diagnostic outputs, and system behavior to identify root cause
• Collaborate with Support leadership, Engineering, Product, and Security teams to escalate and resolve complex issues, volume drivers, and product improvement opportunities
• Document troubleshooting steps, solutions, and knowledge base articles
• Assist customers with best practices for endpoint security configuration and optimization
• Participate in on-call rotations as required

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technical support and cybersecurity support (if combined, at least 2 years of cybersecurity support experience)
• Hands-on experience with endpoint security, EDR, or antivirus platforms
• Strong understanding of:
  • Windows operating systems (desktop and server)
  • Networking fundamentals - Familiarity with networking protocols, security configurations, firewalls, and system administration
  • Cybersecurity principles – Ransomware and Malware behavior and remediation techniques
  • Modern threat landscape
  • Fundamentals of Endpoint Security
  • Endpoint Detection and Response
• Experience analyzing system logs and security alerts
• Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell preferred) for troubleshooting and automation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced, global support environment
• CompTIA A+ or CompTIA Security+ certifications. (Security+ preferred)
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical problems and provide effective solutions.
• Experience with remote support tools and methodologies.

• Experience with Endpoint Detection and Response, Antiviruses, Firewalls, Policies and Exclusions
• MSP (Managed Service Provider) experience
