You’ll be immersed in the design process from day one, developing your craft and creativity while helping build the next generation of iconic brands. What We’re Looking for: 

We’re looking for curious, detail-oriented, collaborative students who are passionate about branding and visual storytelling. As a Design Intern, you’ll be fully integrated into our team—contributing to real client work, from concept to delivery, across a range of brand design projects. You’ll work side by side with strategists, motion designers, and creative leads to help bring bold ideas to life. Your mentor and design team will guide you in sharpening your technical skills, creative thinking, and visual communication. 

We are looking for students pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Communication Design, Visual Arts, or a related discipline (grad students are also welcome to apply). These paid internships last approximately three to four months, depending on the time of year and your academic schedule. Please note that interns must be based near our Cincinnati studio for a hybrid working schedule (at least 3-4 days in office). 

Candidates must have completed a minimum of 3 semesters or equivalent in their program. A strong portfolio showcasing branding, typography, layout, and conceptual thinking is required. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop) is expected; motion or 3D experience is a plus. 

We’re looking for students with excellent communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a genuine eagerness to learn. The best candidates will be passionate about Landor’s work, aware of current design trends, and excited to bring fresh ideas and creative energy to the table.

About this Role

We are looking for a Lead Graphic Designer to serve as the visual architect for InfoTrust, bridging the gap between high-level brand strategy and production excellence. This role is perfect for a designer who balances a mastery of visual fundamentals with a product-mindset, capable of turning usability findings into sophisticated design decisions across print, digital, and product interfaces. As a leader and mentor, you will drive brand cohesion while leveraging AI as a productivity multiplier to maintain high-velocity output without sacrificing quality.

Responsibilities:

• Visual Identity & Brand Activation: Own and maintain the InfoTrust brand guidelines, ensuring cohesion in typography, color theory, and identity systems across all global touchpoints.
• Multi-Platform Design: Execute high-fidelity digital assets for web, social, and email, alongside complex print production needs including packaging and vendor-ready file delivery.
• Product & UX Design: Utilize Figma to establish wireframes, components, and design systems, applying accessibility (WCAG) and usability best practices to support product development.
• AI-Augmented Workflow: Strategically use tools like Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, and Claude Design to accelerate production while exercising expert judgment on design quality.
• Design Operations: Organize and maintain design libraries, naming conventions, and versioning to ensure a seamless handoff for developers and other stakeholders.
• Leadership & Mentorship: Provide clear creative direction and feedback to freelancers and vendors, championing a culture where design is treated as a strategic asset rather than a commodity.

• Design Operations Mastery: You are a champion of Design Ops, possessing the organizational discipline to manage a steady volume of 10–15 high-quality assets per week with minimal oversight.
• Strategic Influence: You view feedback as a gift and possess the deep graphic design foundations—color, typography, hierarchy—to confidently influence stakeholders while remaining curious and collaborative.
• Technical Breadth: You possess an advanced mastery of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) with the ability to defend design decisions rooted in objectivity.
• Brand Stewardship: You have a proven track record of maintaining brand books and identity systems for complex, international, or B2B organizations.
• User-Centric Execution: You understand UX principles and can synthesize usability findings into functional, beautiful layouts.
• Cross-Functional Collaborator: You can communicate complex design concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Resilient & Adaptable: You thrive in a high-velocity environment and can pivot quickly as project priorities shift.
• Objective Problem Solver: You approach challenges with a "curious, not judgmental" mindset, seeking the best solution for the brand.
• Great communicator: B2 English proficiency. 

Bonus:

• Experience with motion design and After Effects.
• Deep knowledge of Accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA) including contrast, focus order, and ARIA basics.
• Experience working within mid-market startups or international B2B product companies.

Logistics:

• Employment Structure: This position is based in Mexico and will be facilitated through a Professional Employer Organization (PEO). While you will be a core member of the InfoTrust team and report directly to our internal leadership, the PEO will serve as the employer of record for local payroll, benefits, and statutory compliance in accordance with Mexican labor law.

Must be authorized to work in Mexico for any employer.

Co-Op Requirements
We are seeking students in their third, fourth or fifth year of college, majoring in environmental, 3D environments, industrial, or interior design. This is an opportunity to expand the learning process by participating in projects from start to finish and interacting with our design, strategy, and implementation groups. Hired interns will be placed on a specific creative team and assigned a mentor to help them navigate day-to-day worklife. After becoming fully integrated onto their team, interns can expect to work collaboratively on a variety of projects including 3D modeling, environmental design, industrial design, retail design, and more.

Internship candidates must have completed a minimum of 3 semesters or equivalent in their program and should have advanced skills in Illustrator and Photoshop with an intermediate / exploratory understanding of a handful of the following programs: AfterEffects, CAD tools, Figma, Keyshot, Premier Pro, Rhino, and Sketchup. Candidates should also have a solid understanding of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Keynote.
