Platform Engineering is the department within SRE that is responsible for a range of critical infrastructure and operational functions that support the broader engineering organization. Among these are our multi-cloud-provider Kubernetes infrastructure, networking, load balancing (including our public-facing edge and internal service mesh), and observability and alerting systems.
The Fleet Management team provides the core runtime environment that empowers our developers to build and ship products to delight our customers. We manage the end-to-end lifecycle of our Kubernetes fleet, alongside the critical components that ensure cluster reliability and security (e.g., CoreDNS, cert-manager, and Gatekeeper). As our infrastructure scales to support new use cases and products, we are spearheading a migration from Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to an Operator-driven lifecycle management model.
This role can be based out of our Austin, Boston, Los Angeles, New York City, Raleigh, or San Francisco offices, or remotely in the United States region.

This role can sit in our NYC HQ on a hybrid basis, or it can be fully remote while working from a location based in either Eastern or Central time zones. We are looking for an experienced Senior Engineer for our SRE, Atlas team to support, maintain and grow the Atlas platform. As a senior SRE, you will be expected to be able to design & build complex systems, operate with autonomy and act as owner for everything you do.
The SRE Atlas team works alongside the various Atlas software engineering teams to provide expertise about running systems at scale, build new tooling and automation and perform essential maintenance of the Atlas fleet.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Senior Field Service Engineer – RUPS Systems will specialize in rotary UPS power system distribution builds, mechanical and generator integration, system integration, start-ups, and preventative maintenance programs. This role requires advanced technical expertise, mechanical aptitude, leadership skills, and hands-on field experience with both electrical control systems and rotating equipment such as generators and flywheels. Strong troubleshooting skills and a commitment to delivering high-performance power solutions in data centers, hospitals, industrial facilities, and utility-scale environments are essential.
This is not a typical UPS engineer or technician role. In fact, a strong background in traditional static UPS systems may not be advantageous for this position. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience with mechanical systems, generators, and rotary equipment, and be comfortable commissioning complex power systems in the field. You will act as the front-line expert for bringing large-scale RUPS systems online, resolving technical issues, and training others. This role will also provide technical software and hardware troubleshooting support to the IEM customer base on-site throughout North America while performing start-ups, retrofits, or preventative maintenance. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional IEM teams to integrate current and new technologies, commission complex generator and RUPS systems, optimize existing power infrastructure, and ensure seamless operation across our power products as defined by the customer's RUPS design and sequence of operations (SOO). This role will serve as the point of contact for all field service personnel related to RUPS startup, generator support, preventative maintenance, 24-hour emergency response, and remote technical assistance.

About the Role

Principal Duties/Responsibilities:

The pay range for this position in Ontario at the start of employment is expected to be between $96,400 and $142,660 CAD per Year.

Skills You'll Need:
5+ years of professional experience in production engineering, infrastructure automation, or site reliability engineering, preferably in HPC or large-scale data center environments.

Site Reliability Engineers (SREs) are responsible for keeping all internal-facing services and platforms running smoothly. In a nutshell, SREs ensure site uptime. SREs blend sensible system administrators and software engineers who apply sound engineering principles, operational discipline, and mature automation to the environments and infrastructure services we provide. We specialize in systems–whether it be networking, the Linux kernel, or some more specific interest in scaling–algorithms or distributed systems.
Our team helps to improve automation, infrastructure reliability, and empowers Braze’s other engineering teams to leverage the infrastructure products and platforms we create easily. Main responsibilities:
For candidates based in the United States, the pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $156,364 and $279,957/year with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $172,000 and $306,000/year (including bonus or commission). Your exact offer may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to cash compensation, Braze offers full- and part- time employees a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes equity grants of restricted stock (RSUs) so that all Braze employees own a piece of our company.

Define and drive the observability roadmap, aligning platform capabilities with the needs of engineering teams, quantitative researchers, and trading operations.
Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of monitoring, alerting, logging, tracing, and metrics infrastructure at scale.
Own the end-to-end developer experience of observability tooling - reducing friction, improving self-service adoption, and ensuring engineers can quickly diagnose and resolve production issues.
Manage and grow a small team of engineers, providing technical mentorship, setting clear expectations, and fostering a culture of ownership and accountability.
Partner with infrastructure, platform, and application teams to ensure observability is deeply integrated into the development lifecycle, CI/CD pipelines, and incident response workflows.
Establish and enforce best practices for instrumentation, SLOs, alert quality, and operational readiness across the engineering organization.
Evaluate emerging tools, frameworks, and approaches in the observability space, driving adoption where they deliver measurable value.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
8+ years of technical engineering experience, with at least 3 years focused on observability, monitoring, or site reliability engineering.
Demonstrated expertise designing, building, and operating observability platforms at scale - including metrics, logging, tracing, and alerting systems; deep experience with Datadog and OpenTelemetry strongly preferred.
Proven experience leading or managing a small engineering team, with a track record of developing talent and delivering results through others.
Strong understanding of distributed systems, micro-services architectures, and the observability challenges inherent in complex, high-throughput environments.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and bare-metal infrastructure; understanding of the unique observability challenges across both containerized and traditional deployment models.
Advanced programming proficiency in at least one of Python, Go, or Java; familiarity with C++ or low-latency systems is a strong plus.
A product-oriented mindset — you think about observability as a service to internal customers and obsess over the developer experience of the tools you build.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to partner across engineering, operations, and business stakeholders.
Financial sector experience (trading, prop trading, hedge funds) and familiarity with the demands of low-latency, high-reliability systems are strongly preferred.
Advanced degree (MS, PhD) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is a plus.

Braze is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to join our existing Security Engineering function. Braze is a modern, cloud-first SaaS company operating entirely on cloud-native infrastructure with large-scale, distributed systems across AWS, GCP, and self-managed Kubernetes environments. We are looking for an engineer with deep cloud security expertise who can partner with DevOps, Infrastructure, and Product Engineering teams to strengthen our cloud posture, secure our platforms, and help drive the future of Cloud Security at Braze.
As a Senior Cloud Security Engineer at Braze, you will work on a diverse set of initiatives, including:
You are someone who can translate complex cloud attack paths, IAM misconfigurations, and multi-step threat scenarios into clear guidance for engineers and product teams. You bring deep hands-on experience securing large-scale cloud platforms—especially AWS - and understand how to balance strong security controls with operational realities. You stay current with cloud security trends, tools, standards, and threat landscapes, and you have a track record of improving real-world cloud security in production environments.

For candidates based in the United States, the pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $128,842 and $232,200/year with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $144,000 and $258,000/year (including bonus or commission). Your exact offer may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to cash compensation, Braze offers full- and part- time employees a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes equity grants of restricted stock (RSUs) so that all Braze employees own a piece of our company.

As part of this team, you’ll help design, build, and scale the systems that underpin Klover’s core products and platform. You will work closely with nearly every engineering team at Attain, in helping to ensure that our systems are operating at peak efficiency, and preparing us to handle the scale of our future growth.
