We believe successful Data Science Product Managers have a wide set of experiences and skill sets in the data domain. This hybrid position offers you hands-on opportunities in data science, data analysis, and product management. In your first two years, you’ll get repetitions in contributing to product life cycles via product analytics, roadmap support, model building, and influential communication with product leadership.

What You'll Do:

As an Associate Data Science Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between complex data science initiatives and impactful product solutions to create value for both our business and our customers.

• Responsible for identifying opportunities to increase the impact of your product through deep understanding of the problem space, thorough comprehension of the product strategy and technology, and advanced statistical analysis. Effectively communicating recommendations to your product leads to create buy-in and action.
• Translate your recommendations into clear work streams and features that contribute to the product roadmap. Collaborate with Data Science, Design, and Engineering teams to turn objectives into detailed requirements with assistance from your product lead.
• Leverage algorithms and programming tools to execute relevant technical workstreams. This includes building items such as:
• Data pipelines to gather, manipulate, prepare, and visualize large datasets
• Machine learning models for offline and proof-of-concept use cases
• Agentic workflows to automate tasks or for reasoning capabilities for specific features in your product
• End to end ownership of experiments. Assist in deploying features aimed at improving core KPIs. Conduct analyses to assess the impact of the experiments, synthesizing and owning the narrative.
• Promote adoption and usage of your product and tooling. Interact directly with end-users for training, feedback, and user testing.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in machine learning and generative AI to identify innovative ways to solve business challenges.

Experiences you’ve had:

• Graduating with a bachelor's or master's degree in Summer 2026, with academic and/or practical experience in fields such as computer science, data science, statistics, or product management. (Start date in our August 2026 cohort)
• Demonstrated ability to collect, mine, and manipulate large data from disparate data sources, with an ability to dig deep and understand the process (e.g., SQL, Pandas, Tableau). 
• Hands-on application of machine learning and/or generative AI to a relevant problem through statistical programming languages or large language models (e.g., Python, R, GPT). Thorough knowledge in statistics and machine learning techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to root cause problems through a data-driven approach, synthesizing takeaways and effectively communicating recommendations to relevant audiences.
• Exposure to and/or interest in technical development of software components and production models to learn how to form opinions on level of effort and feasibility.

Compensation: 

This range reflects total cash compensation, which may include base salary only or base salary plus target bonus, depending on the role. Where eligible, equity may also be offered separately and not included below. Actual compensation varies based on location, experience, and qualifications.

• Total Cash Compensation: $100,000 per year

THE POSITION:

The Senior Data Scientist is a key role within the Data Science team that involves leading complex data analysis and model development projects, leveraging a deep understanding of data science and machine learning workflows. This role requires the ability to navigate fast-paced environments with agility and poise, as well as build strong partnerships with engineering, product, business, finance, and analytics teams. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will take on a leadership position, guiding junior team members and ensuring the successful implementation of advanced analytics solutions. 

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Help execute data science strategies and roadmaps to address business challenges and opportunities through analytics and AI/ML models.
• Hands on design, development, and deployment of predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and AI solutions.
• Collaborate with team members and business stakeholders to understand objectives and requirements and develop analytic models that provide actionable insights.
• Ensure the validity, reliability, and robustness of models by implementing best practices in model validation, testing, and calibration.
• Monitor performance and outcomes of models and refine them for optimized performance.
• Communicate complex analytic solutions and insights in a clear and structured manner to business stakeholders.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within our data science practices, staying abreast of industry trends and advancements.
• Demonstrate an eagerness to learn, including aspects related to bringing data science models into operational use. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field. PhD in the above fields preferred. 
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a data science role, showcasing solid abilities in SQL and Python.
• Excellent data analysis, profiling and statistics skills coupled with proficiency in SQL tools and technologies such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Pandas, NumPy, ggplot, Shiny, SciPy, Sci-Kit Learn, and Matplotlib. 
• Proficiency in utilizing a range of Machine/Deep Learning algorithms and frameworks, including TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, Spark ML, Torch, Huggingface, Keras, Caffe, and CNTK.
• Solid understanding of cloud computing environments and experience with deploying models in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience in or understanding of model development, with a willingness to explore model deployment strategies.
• High analytical aptitude for navigating complex datasets to extract actionable insights.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
• Strong communication abilities, capable of conveying technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Proactive in learning and adapting to new methodologies and challenges.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and manage simultaneous projects in a dynamic environment.

The base pay range for this position in Seattle/New York/Colorado/California is $130,000 to $170,000; however, base pay offered may vary depending on internal factors, job-related knowledge, and experience.
