Our area of expertise involves Applied Mathematics & Statistics for Machine Learning and Deep Learning, with a recently strong focus on Generative AI. 

Responsibilities : In addition to the core Data Science and ML Engineering Team, you will work with different stakeholders to:

• Qualify the feasibility of Use Cases, translating business challenges into technical formulations
• Define the business and statistical hypothesis, and build the solution followed by testing and validation
• For those Use Cases that are validated, you will help develop a production-ready solution.

When consulted on a business challenge, you propose adequate AI or machine learning options to address this need. You act as an expert on the best algorithm to choose given the specific context and constraints. You are a key contributor to the design of the solution. You develop data visualisation features to generate insights and support data storytelling. You iterate with the business in an agile way to develop, adapt and refine the solution to enable maximum business impact. You design, build, maintain, and troubleshoot the data models integrated into the solutions delivered : 

• Assess the quality of the data; clean and aggregate when necessary
• Compare and choose the right algorithms based on defining the right statistical hypothesis
• Develop and train models
• Follow principles of MLOps when moving models to productions
• Troubleshoot the models in production

Profile Minimum requirements : 

• Must have at least 3 years of prior Data Science experience
• VERY Proficient in Python
• Has a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics, Advanced Statistics, and Data Science or a related discipline
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong knowledge of data science algorithms and at least one proven experience in developing Statistical and ML algorithms
• Ideally Fluent in English

Preferred requirements :

• 3+ in Windows desktop application development using Windows App SDK, WinUI (or similar), C#, XAML — and ideally additional experience with native Windows code (C++, Win32/WinRT/COM).
• Deep understanding of Windows application architecture, including interop between managed code (.NET) and native code.
• Proven track record of designing, building, and shipping production-quality desktop applications, with an emphasis on reliability, performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Strong experience with accessibility APIs on Windows (e.g. Microsoft UI Automation or similar), and a dedication to building accessible and inclusive software.
• Excellent software engineering fundamentals: OOP, design patterns, data structures, algorithms, memory management, multi-threading or asynchronous programming (where relevant).

• Experience with writing automated tests for UI — unit tests, integration tests, UI automation tests; familiarity with relevant testing frameworks.

• Experience with localization/globalization, right-to-left UI support, internationalization, accessibility for multiple regions.

Organized in feature team, you will work in project mode (ou pizza team) to  advise your clients on their IA problematics, machine learning and Big Data. The projects you will work on can go from the migration of infrastructure to the Cloud (Deezer) to the construction of a predictive model  of the water rises (Greenpeace).

Your responsibilities:

• Innovate. You will work with your team which is made up of consultants, data scientists, creatives and engineers to identify your clients needs and define innovatives solutions.

What is it to be a Senior Software Engineer in Artefact?

As a Senior Software Engineer at Artefact you will work on all aspects of data engineering in multidisciplinary client teams. As a Senior Software Engineer at Artefact, you will be responsible for the good relationship with your clients in terms of software engineering tasks and you will start to supervise more junior profiles.

You will be using data as a tool to solve the real-world problems encountered by various sectors (e.g. retail, luxe, telecom, healthcare). This involves multiple activities:

• You will work in an agile team composed of data experts like you, but also non-technical people.
• You will work on and deploy your software to the cloud (GCP, AWS or Azure).
• You will implement software with Python and SQL to create applications and data transformations.
• You will apply DevOps principles: automating tests and cloud deployments with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (we use terraform), packaging applications in containers (we usedocker), implementing enablers for data observability (we use DBT).

Contexte du poste

Dans le cadre de son développement, Capfi recrute pour le compte de l’un de ses clients, un acteur de référence dans le conseil, un Consultant Data & Intelligence Artificielle.
Encadré(e) par un Manager, vous participerez à la délivrance de projets innovants autour de la data et de l’intelligence artificielle, en contribuant à la conception et à la mise en œuvre de solutions permettant à nos clients de valoriser leurs données, optimiser leurs processus et améliorer leur expérience client.

Vos principales missions

• Collaborer étroitement avec les clients pour comprendre leurs besoins en matière de données et d’intelligence artificielle.

• Assurer le delivery des projets Data/IA, en veillant à la qualité et à la pertinence des livrables.

• Identifier et cadrer les cas d’usage : évaluer leur éligibilité, définir les hypothèses de données, estimer le ROI et mesurer les impacts sur les processus et les systèmes d’information.

• Encadrer un consultant junior Data & IA et l’accompagner dans la réalisation de ses missions.

• Définir les scénarios d’implémentation des solutions retenues en prenant en compte les dimensions organisationnelles, technologiques et processus du client.

• Déployer des solutions d’IA et gérer leur intégration avec les systèmes existants.

• Assurer une veille technologique continue sur les dernières avancées en intelligence artificielle afin de proposer des approches toujours plus innovantes.

• Contribuer à l’acculturation IA des équipes internes et des clients, en vulgarisant les concepts et en facilitant l’adoption des nouvelles technologies.

Profil recherché

• Diplômé(e) d’une grande école d’ingénieurs ou titulaire d’un Master spécialisé en Intelligence Artificielle ou Big Data.

• Expérience de 5 ans minimum dans le conseil en data/IA ou en gestion de projets Data/IA.

• Solides compétences en statistiques, data science, machine learning et deep learning.

• Bonne maîtrise et compréhension des enjeux de l’IA et de la valorisation de la donnée.

• Maîtrise du français et de l’anglais, à l’écrit comme à l’oral.

Compétences techniques et comportementales

• Maîtrise du langage Python.

• Connaissance ou initiation au project management / product management.

• Compétences souhaitées en Power BI et Microsoft Azure.

• Excellente capacité de résolution de problèmes : analyse, structuration, synthèse et formulation de recommandations.
