About the role
We are building a next-generation sports broadcasting platform focused on delivering high-quality, fast-paced sports programming to a South African audience, with a strong emphasis on football.
As a Producer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end creation and execution of live and recorded studio content. You will own the editorial direction, show structure, and live delivery, ensuring that every broadcast is engaging, relevant, and executed to the highest standard.
This is a high-impact role at the heart of the operation, working closely with presenters, analysts, journalists, and technical teams to bring compelling sports content to life.
What you'll be doing
Own the editorial direction and execution of daily studio shows
Build and manage detailed rundowns, segment structures, and show flow
Lead live broadcast execution, ensuring timing, pacing, and quality
Coordinate presenters, analysts, journalists, and contributors
Oversee scripting, talking points, and editorial alignment
Work closely with Technical Director and Graphics team during live shows
Identify key sports stories, narratives, and angles (particularly football)
Ensure all content is accurate, compliant, and aligned with brand tone
Manage post-show reviews and continuously improve output quality
Collaborate with digital teams to maximise content reach and cutdowns
What you'll bring
5+ years experience in sports broadcast or digital content production
Strong understanding of sports, particularly football
Proven experience producing live studio shows
Excellent editorial judgment and storytelling ability
Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced live environments
Strong leadership and communication skills
High attention to detail and organisational ability
Even better if
Experience producing football-focused programming
Experience working across both broadcast and digital platforms
Strong network within the South African sports ecosystem
Ability to identify high-engagement and viral content moments

The Production Assistant is a key support role within the studio, ensuring that both technical and production teams are able to operate efficiently during live and recorded broadcasts.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that plays a critical part in maintaining smooth studio operations across a wide range of sports programming, particularly during live match coverage.
What you'll be doing
Assist with studio setup and strike (cabling, equipment positioning, prep)
Support technical and production teams during live broadcasts
Assist with floor management, timing, and cueing
Ensure equipment and studio areas are ready for each show
Handle ad-hoc tasks and urgent production requirements
Support presenters, analysts, and guests where required
Assist with basic operational tasks (autocue, scripts, etc.)
Maintain general studio organisation and readiness
What you'll bring
0–2 years experience in media, events, or production environments
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Ability to work under pressure and irregular hours (including weekends)
Strong attention to detail
Good communication and teamwork skills
Positive, proactive attitude
Even better if
Experience in live TV, events, or sports production
Basic understanding of broadcast equipment
Interest in technical production roles
Passion for sports content and media
