THE ROLE
We are seeking a Senior Director / Vice President of Scientific Strategy & Research Enablement to help architect and scale the research engine that powers this platform. Reporting to the SVP/Head of Platform, this role will operate at the intersection of scientific strategy, platform development, and execution, ensuring that our research organization has the infrastructure, partnerships, and operational frameworks necessary to move rapidly from invention to discovery.
This individual will play a key role in shaping how our science is executed—designing the systems, workflows, and external collaborations that enable scientists to focus on innovation while accelerating the generation of high-quality data and platform insights.
The ideal candidate will combine a strong understanding of modern research environments with the ability to build scalable systems that increase scientific productivity and translate platform capabilities into impactful programs. This is an individual contributor role that is part of extended Executive Leadership team, and with opportunities for growth.

The salary range for this role is $275,000 - $340,000. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience. MORSE is seeking a talented Robotics Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in embedded systems, navigation algorithms, and autonomy. You will be responsible for architecting systems, implementing custom algorithms, and integrating novel control systems into our aerial vehicles. This role will involve developing and debugging software, configuring systems for flight tests, and supporting the end-to-end development of prototype vehicles. A passion for innovation and the ability to bring novel Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) from concept to flight is essential.
Architect systems with multiple microcontrollers, defining component roles and managing requirements.
Implement custom navigation algorithms and autonomy logic in Rust and C++.
Analyze vehicle flight logs and debug GNC and autonomy issues
Develop and write LIDAR sensor drivers in C++ and Rust.
Handle system configuration, ground station setup, and data management during local and remote flight tests.
Develop control and path planning algorithms for aerial vehicles and integrate them into the PX4 ROS communications layer.
Implement drivers for novel control actuation and integrate them into PX4 or other flight controllers.
Incorporate flight models into the existing Python flight simulator and use the simulator for algorithm development.
Develop Software-In-the-Loop (SWIL) and Hardware-In-the-Loop (HWIL) testing capabilities.
Aid in system architecture, selection, and integration of flight controllers, electronics, and sensors.
Support the development, integration, and testing of prototype vehicles.
Write, test, and debug drivers such as CANopen actuators and beyond line-of-sight radios in C++ and Python.
Demonstrate familiarity with low-level embedded programming concepts such as memory management, data structures, algorithms, and bit manipulation.
U.S. Citizenship required and ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Strong skills in C++, Rust, and Python.
Experience in navigation algorithms (SLAM, path planning) and autonomy logic.
Experience with low-level embedded programming and microcontrollers.
Experience with PX4 or other flight controllers
Skilled in system architecture, component definition, and integration of prototype vehicles.

MORSE Corp’s salary range for this role carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to, prior experience, education, skills and expertise, location, internal equity, and other factors that are job related and consistent with business need. Therefore, final offer amounts may vary from the amount stated. Depending on role eligibility, total compensation may also include bonus, stock, 401(k) match, paid time off, medical, dental, vision and life insurance.

Flagship Pioneering is seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President or Senior Vice President, Total Rewards and People Operations to lead the design, management, and evolution of Total Rewards programs and key people infrastructure across our ecosystem. The scope of this role spans compensation, executive compensation, equity, benefits, people operations, and people analytics for Flagship and its portfolio of companies.
This is a highly visible leadership role requiring deep expertise in compensation strategy and private-company equity, as well as the ability to operate effectively across a complex, fast-paced, and highly matrixed environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong executive presence, sound judgment, and the ability to translate business strategy into scalable people programs that support growth, innovation, and organizational effectiveness.

The salary range for this role is $300,000 - $400,000. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience. Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain automated test infrastructure, both hardware and software
• Design, architect and develop improvements to build infrastructure for performance, maintainability and cost optimisations
• Monitor and report on quality metrics derived from local testing and field reports
• Assist software development teams in resolving issues with build, test or deployment
• Work with product management and other internal stakeholders to prioritise activities appropriately
Qualifications and Skills
• Degree in engineering, computer science or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years industry experience in a professional software environment
• Familiarity with Yocto/OpenEmbedded
• Experience with Python, JavaScript and shell scripting
• Experience of Linux systems (as a user, not necessarily a developer or administrator)
• Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Desirable
• Previous experience of digital multimedia or networked systems
• Experience with Kubernetes, AWS and similar cloud technologies
• Familiarity with Gerrit, GitHub and/or other code review systems
