The base salary range for this position is $143,000 - $229,000 per year.  Aurora’s pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. Own the Quality Standard

• Define what 'good' looks like for each data type across active labeling pipelines and instrument pipelines to measure against it continuously, not just at delivery milestones.

Bridge Engineering and Machine Learning Operations

At Nuro, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. For this position, the reasonably expected base pay range is between $120,270 and $180,410 for the level at which this job has been scoped. The role

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 5+ years experience as a Lead Engineer, Technical Program Manager, Technical Product Manager, or Engineer in an autonomous systems, robotics, or software development environment.
• Proven client-facing technical program management and/or systems engineering experience, preferably in the defense, national security, or aerospace domains
• Strong background in systems engineering and architecture
• Demonstrated ability to interpret complex requirements, differentiate between rigid and flexible elements, and translate them into a robust, executable engineering framework.
• Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders, across a wide range of technical comfort
• Experience with at least one of the following: Link 16, JITC Certification, or Cyber Certification (IATT/ATO) and Risk Management Framework (RMF).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Atlassian products (e.g., Jira, Confluence) for task tracking and robust program management support.
• Must be able to obtain a minimum Secret Clearance.
• Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with specific fire control systems (e.g., AEGIS, TOC-L, THAAD)
• Strong technical, analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations and drive decisions
• Ability to work within organizations with minimal structure and with minimal direction.
• Active U.S. government security clearance.
• Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline
