The Opportunity
As a Client Solutions Associate, you will forge strong relationships with our clients to empower them as they adopt Orennia’s platform and help to develop client engagement and retention approaches to support the growth of Orennia. Reporting directly to the VP, Customer Success you will have the opportunity to work across departments, levels, and with a variety of experts and perspectives, to allow you to gain a variety of experiences before working hands on with our client base on the customer success team. During your first 6-8 months of onboarding, you will join the Analytics team and contribute to market analysis in the renewables, power, CCUS, hydrogen and renewable fuels sectors, develop advanced analytical models that leverage large data sets to provide insights to our clients, and work closely with our clients to create customized solutions to their most pressing and complex problems. What You’ll Do
- Be an integral part of the Orennia account team that contributes towards growth and retention through contribution of account planning activities and tailored engagement plans. This may include but won’t be limited to providing front line customer support, product training, onboarding new users, triaging technical requests and maintaining consistent engagement with our client.
- Lead training sessions to ensure Orennia’s portfolio is embedded, and the active user base is growing by meeting user needs.
- Develop key relationships with customers to increase our active usage, user count and, ultimately, overall engagement.
- Act as a first point of contact for user questions and liaise internally to ensure we deliver on our promises to clients. Create follow- up loops with clients to ensure that queries and issues are resolved to their satisfaction.
- Become an Orennia expert with a strong understanding of our offering and our client’s business.
- Proactively seek opportunities to promote relevant content to your clients and to keep them up to date with the latest industry knowledge.
- Engage in commercially focused customer discussions to influence product, service and overall Orennia business development.
- Work with the customer to build customer workflows helping integrate our product into their day- to -day workflows.
- Work closely with our clients to create customized solutions to their most pressing and complex problems.
- Participate in conference calls, virtual and in-person meetings with clients and prospects, leveraging and demonstrating our solutions.
- Go onsite and meet with clients to identify their biggest pain points and identify solutions with Orennia products.
Who You Are
- You have completed a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Mathematics/Computer Science/ Finance.
- You have 2-4 years of relevant work experience in the industry or SaaS consulting environment.
- You are a critical thinker. You can connect-the-dots to solve problems and seek out opportunities when the dots don’t even exist yet.
- You are customer centric, with a proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- You are fearless with technology, excited to get your hands on new systems and can figure out any kind of software.

What You’ll Do

- You have strong analytical ability including statistical methods and optimization concepts. Programming, database and software skills (Excel, VBA, Python, SQL) considered an asset.

What You’ll Do
- Analyze, design, develop, test, review, document and troubleshoot data pipeline / ELT solutions against multiple structured and unstructured data sources.
- Support our team of analysts through developing requirements and delivering solutions.
- Develop code to scrape public websites for data and perform ELT processes.
- Maintain, monitor, and support production ELT processes and respond to error and emergency issues.
Who You Are
- You have excellent knowledge and experience with Big Data concepts like data lakes, data warehouses, ELT strategies, and best practices.
- You have a strong understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling.
- You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- You have experience with DBT and SQL, and are proficent with Python.
- You have extensive experience with cloud-based data processing and warehousing technologies (Databricks, Snowflake, etc)
- You have experience with Lean and Agile development methodologies (such as Kanban or SCRUM).
- You are comfortable in entrepreneurial, self-starting, and fast-paced environment, working both independently and with our highly skilled teams.
- You have experience with other Big Data processing technologies and cloud services (AWS, GCP, Snowflake, Hive, Hadoop, MS SQL, etc.).
- You have experience with JIRA and similar organizational tools.
- You have experience building web-scraping tools against publicly available datasets (considered an asset).
- You have experience with GIS/geospatial data processing, integration, and analysis is (considered an asset).
- You have experience building or supporting data visualizations (considered an asset).
