The Opportunity:  

Are you a dynamic leader with a knack for driving success in a multicultural environment? This role is responsible for leading the customer service teams supporting EMEA Languages (Arabic, German, French, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish) as they provide support to customers across voice, email, chat, and back-office activities.   

We are currently seeking to hire a Regional Manager (RM) supporting the EMEA region. This would be a full-time position and will be based in Cairo’s new office. Relocation support will be provided for you and your dependents (if needed).  

The Regional Manager of Customer Experience Group provides vision, leadership, and guidance to each team leader and associates in the key operating areas through performance and goal setting. Effectively communicates with the team, developing a climate in which information is shared openly. Clearly defines team goals and expectations. Develop tactical plans to reach these goals. This role requires a high level of personal and professional skills associated with running global operations teams. First and foremost, this is a people leader role and enabling local teams to be successful is core to the role. In addition to being a brilliant people leader and communicator, the ideal candidate will bring a vision, a sense of curiosity, a passion for travel, keen analytical skills, a tech-centric mindset, and a willingness to lead by example.   

This position will report to the Regional Head of Customer Support, EMEA and is open to both local and foreign candidates and we will provide a relocation package for the right candidate, ensuring a smooth transition to working and living in Cairo, Egypt.   

In this Role, you’ll get to:  

• Lead multicultural teams supporting markets with different requirements, regulations and practices  

• Continuous improvement in meeting customers’ expectations  

• Guide your team through frequent changes in technology, processes, and business priorities.  

• Identify and drive solutions for your regions using an agile, data-driven approach, including designing, and running experiments.  

• Present results and propose solutions to Senior Leaders and stakeholders.  

• Collaborate with a diverse array of functions such as Business Development, Content, Finance, Operational Excellence, L&D, Analytics and Talent Management  

• Understands the key drivers of customer satisfaction & dissatisfaction and works with customer service leaders to address customer dissatisfaction and implement self-healing processes where possible.   

• Regularly review customer feedback and QA insights to help educate teams about Agoda products and services as well as identify customer improvement opportunities.  

 What you’ll Need to Succeed:   

• A minimum of 8 years of work experience, with at least 3 years in a senior role managing operational responsibilities (contact center, vendor management at scale, etc.). 
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities, with a knack for identifying process improvement opportunities using a data-driven approach.   

• The ability to successfully lead or support multiple initiatives concurrently.   

• A proven track record of leading change.   

• Persuasive skills to convince senior leaders.   

• A fast-paced approach to problem-solving and decision-making.   

• The ability to foster a culture of personal development through coaching and partnership with L&D, engagement, and continuous improvement.   

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Conversational Arabic is a plus  

• Excellent personal and interpersonal skills to lead the team and partner effectively with other departments.   

• E-commerce or travel industry experience is a plus.

About the Role

The Technical Account Manager provides the customer’s business with proactive support and management during Veeam implementations and beyond. The TAM’s mission is to help the customers unlock the full value of Veeam’s products and services and serve as your trusted advisor.

The Technical Account Manager is a technical team member responsible for all aspects of the planning, architecture, coordination, and management of post-sales technical engagements.  

The focus is on architecting and project management of availability solutions, including data protection and monitoring. The Technical Account manager is an expert in the areas of Data Management, Data Analytics, Business Continuity, Data Center, Cloud, Operating Systems, Networking, Storage, and Virtualization.  

What You’ll Do

• Support delivery and consulting services to meet Veeam Software solution design and deliverables
• Provide overall project guidance (Project plans, Schedules, Communication Plans, Resource plans, Status updates, etc.) 
• Assist with assessment and design of solutions as well as post-installation issues
• Assist with Veeam Software solution implementation effort estimation 
• Create white papers, solutions guides, best practices, custom documentation, etc. 
• Deliver onsite knowledge transfer on Veeam Software solutions
• Document configuration and completed activities 
• Analyze installed environments and guide optimal Veeam Software configurations 
• Facilitate communication between client and Veeam support

What You’ll Bring

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT industry.
• VMware VCP, Microsoft MCSE or equivalent experience 
• Prince 2, ITIL, PMP,  or equivalent experience 
• Bachelor’s Degree in technology required (A combination of education and experience will be considered) 
• Hands-on experience with Veeam’s Core products 
• Proven Consulting and Project Management experience 
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills 
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Significant experience and understanding of virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V 
• Experience with disruptive storage systems and technologies (Nimble, Nexsan, Actifio, Veeam, etc.) 
• Hands-on experience with networking protocols and equipment (Fiber Channel, Ethernet, Cloud services
• Experience with traditional storage and backup architectures (EMC, NetApp, IBM, HP/3PAR, Hitachi, Dell, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with Enterprise applications (Exchange, SQL, Oracle, etc.)

The Opportunity:  

As a Account Team Lead, your key objective will be to increase the coverage and quality of Agoda’s supply network. You will manage a team that takes care of a large portfolio of emerging and high growth supply partners and assist in partner growth related functions at scale.  

Responsibilities:  

• Manage a team of Account Manager and Account Executives who contact emerging and high growth supply partners to highlight revenue growth opportunities, respond to partner requests and resolve partner issues.  
• Contribute to shaping plan, strategy and direction of Growth and Accelerator Team and ensure alignment and achievement of both regional and country growth target  
• Collaborate with upward stakeholders and stakeholders from various teams across the globe to drive commercial and operational excellence
